//These are my two main Baldi’s Basics OCs; the second one in colour was drawn by my friend, @fawn-the-reindeer-king. The first girl’s name is Exam, who is a studious young student aged 12, with a crush on Bully (that she denies) and a stubborn and easily annoyed demeanour. She spends most of her time studying in class or the lunchroom, but will avoid faculty rooms like the plague. If she is angry with someone, she in inclined to stab them with her yellow pencil. However, if Player follows her past Bully, the Bully will let them go past with all the Player’s items intact. She will be either getting the students to go away, murmuring facts to herself or asking the student questions as if quizzing them, and will stab them if they run into her or get most of the questions that she asks wrong, example being you have three questions by her. If two or all are incorrect, she will stab you with her pencil, hence the “no stabbing people with pencils” rule. If spotted by the Principal, she will hide in the nearest classroom. She is a very smart student with a love for maths and science, and wants to be a teacher like Baldi when she’s older, except teach science. Her eyes are shadowy as she hardly ever sleeps, many a time working to the point of exhaustion where she passes out at her desk and has to be woken up by another student or even a member of staff if one is nearby. Here voice claim is a younger version of Vera from Monster Prom with static in the background, and she tends to wear formal clothes though they look a little messed up as if she is stressed, for example the half-untucked shirt. She isn’t very fond of Gotta Sweep as he sometimes sends her the wrong way. During the camping update, she will be collecting sticks as well and will ward the bully away by brandishing a stick as a weapon, usually when on her own during the camping game she will name different birds or plant species she can see.// //The second gal is called Music (and yes, she is based on me), who is what you may call a cyborg as she is partially made up of musical parts and wires, her fingers made up of piano keys and headphone jacks in her temples if they are not plugged into her phone. She has dark brown hair and dark blue eyes. Unlike her ‘adopted sister’ Exam, she is very friendly and bubbly with a huge love for music -hence her name- but can sometimes be a little mischievous. In her mouth, she has a speaker she uses to talk and sing with, but can make hesitant “hum” sounds and sighs without it if she has to. It recedes into her throat if she needs to eat or drink, and her ears are shown to be bleeding from under her headphones. She usually wears dark clothing or jeans and a top. Music moved with her parents, her aunt, uncle, grandmother and cousin to the US where she enrolled in Here School (usually she is shown as being 12/13 or at times a little younger than Bully) and LOVES nothing more than music, making friends and playing jokes. She will tend to use her sound mimicry to distract Player or the others of Here School, sometimes using her ability to perform practical jokes or to scare people away for her own amusement/in defence. Player can cut her headphone wires with the scissors, but that will make her very angry and she will emit a static or buzz noise and follow them in pursuit, sounding the alarm to alert the others. Mainly Playtime, Baldi and Principal. When upset, she hides in a small room with musical instruments -mainly a piano- and plays music to cheer herself up. Her voice has a cheerful British accent but is very crackly as if she is speaking on an old 1940s radio. When happy, she is known to sing to herself; mainly pop or rock songs, and school hymns such as “Little Light Of Mine”, “The Ghost Of John”, “Battle Of Jericho” and more. At the camping trip, she will help by fanning the fire with unused music sheets if Player is lagging behind, and will give a warning which is a series of coughs as if she’s inhaled some smoke. When the fire is lit, she will sing campfire songs.//

//I hope you like my two girls. May put on a teacher OC if I make one; I have a Coach one I’m trying to flesh out at the moment, but I may switch to making an English teacher or something. Feel free to send in an ask for them :3//

How it feels to be stabbed

Getting stabbed is an experience that no one in their right mind would want to have. But, what if you do get stabbed? What would that feel like?

It usually feels like you’re being punched.

The description of being punched really hard comes up a lot when people describe the experience. One woman said she didn’t even realize she was being stabbed, she just thought her attacker was punching her as hard as he could. Many people don’t feel the actual puncturing, just the force of the knife hitting them.

You might feel nothing at all.

This wasn’t as common as the feeling of being hit, but some people said they literally felt nothing. One person said they felt nothing, but their brain started racing and their fight or flight kicked in. Another didn’t realize someone stabbed them until they saw that they were bleeding profusely.

Occasionally, it feels like you got shocked.

A few stab wound survivors described it as a very quick, but powerful, electric shock. One person described it as static electricity, while another said it was like lightening hitting them. The pain of the initial shock goes away as quickly as it occurred.

Eventually, over time, it’s probably going to hurt.

Of course the location of the stab wound effects how much it would hurt. Getting stabbed in the arm isn’t going to hurt as badly as a stab that punctured a lung. But after a while, you will most likely feel some pain. If the person wiggles the knife while it’s still in you, the pain may be more intense.

Things I wish I knew when I started drawing

My experiences with traditional art have been challenging to say the least, mostly because I didn’t really *get* some of the more obvious tips and tricks. Some of it was definitely jealousy of people with tablets, though. If someone had reminded me about a couple of these things, I wouldn’t have gotten frustrated enough to give up on art for a year. Hopefully they can help prevent others from doing the same.

It can take a painfully long time to learn new or unfamiliar techniques. If they don’t come naturally, your intuition isn’t going to help you.

The time it takes to draw something decreases drastically once you really start practicing it. Ever heard of ‘muscle memory’? It’s real. Your hands have it. Even after just a couple tries, you’ll be surprised at how much easier it gets.

Don’t force yourself to try and copy someone else’s style, or learn a bunch of complicated techniques. It’s time consuming and will end up costing you more in the long run.

Adding more lines isn’t going to make it look better. It’s good to trace the outline of what you have in mind before filling it in, but adding a bunch of dark lines in close proximity to each other just makes it look messier.

Avoid sketching and making lineart with a dark pencil. The easiest pencils to find in a school store are almost definitely HB pencils, which are a middle ground. You’ll have better luck erasing those extra lines if you use a(n) H pencil (2H, 4H, H).

WAIT UNTIL YOUR INK DRIES BEFORE YOU START TO COLOR OR ERASE ANYTHING. Inking is a delicate process and one wrong move can distort how your drawing looks overall. Wait a good 1-2 minutes before checking with a piece of paper or fingernail to see if it’s finished drying.

Unless it’s a really special marker, don’t color using a light marker over a dark marker. A mark will stay on the tip of your marker and stain everything you try to draw with it afterwards.

STOP COMPARING YOUR ART TO STUFF OTHER PEOPLE DRAW! When you look at some of the fantastic artwork online, it can feel intimidating. What you need to remember, is that you’re seeing the finished product of what was a long process of trials and errors leading up to a culmination of the artist’s strongest efforts.

And, last but not least, the tools don’t make the artist or the art. YOU, the artist, are the one with the vision to achieve a final result. Even if you don’t have that fancy white marker that shows up on top of black, you can still demonstrate good technique and a sense of style.

ooooo I have a fic idea along these lines somewhere but it's mostly for Jonker boi oooo lemme share it anyone's free to use it even though it's worded in the most dodgy way possible lol

also sorry if this is kinda post-hijacking akxjnsnxn

(Set after the movie)

Joker had a slight bit of Hanahaki Disease due to his and Batman's one-sided relationship (their hero/villain relationship) and it began to clear up after they admitted their hate for each other, but still effects him due to their current relationship (their love relationship) being mostly one-sided

He manages to keep it under wraps for quite some time until one night while running from Bats he collapses, coughing up flower petals and having difficulty breathing due to the roots getting into his lungs

Bats immediately goes to see if he's okay, then sees the petals as Jokes tries to hide them, playing it off that he just fell over, but realises that he won't be fooled and goes quiet until Bats asks if he still considers their relationship to be one-sided

Eventually Joker speaks up and says something along the lines of "maybe I don't hate you as much as I always say I do"

Instantly he gets what the Joker means and dies internally a little because "bitch me too the fuck"

Bats wants to help, but he doesn't want to force Jokes to get the surgery to remove them because he wants to help without the threat of Jokes loosing all love for anyone, which would be pretty bad or everyone considering how highly he regards Harley and how dangerous the lack of compassion is (from experience)

Plus the fact that Batman is still learning to stop repressing his emotions so there's probably some love feelings in there somewhere and once he realises that he uses it to his advantage and cures Jokes via grabbing him while swinging on his grappling hook and kissing him before setting him back down becauuussseeeeee reasons and it's a hella cute idea

I'm seeing an opportunity and I'm sprinting with it--

Joker stares blankly at Batman as he rips his arm out of the criminal's grip, turning and walking away. He didn't understand. He couldn't understand. After so many years and times and knowing one another and building a relationship of sorts, it all came down to this?

"W-wait, Bats, Bats! You don't...you don't mean that, right? Right?!" He cries out, ignoring the tears welling up in his eyes that threaten to roll down his cheeks. "Answer me, dammit!"

But he doesn't. The black-clad vigilante only continues to walk towards the edge of the building, where he doesn't even spare the Joker a glace before taking his grappling hook and simply zipping away.

This couldn't be real, he thought. It can't be. Bats would never to this to me. This has to be a dream, some kind of stupid nightmare. But no matter how hard he wished and hoped and dug his fingers into his arm to force himself to wake up, he was still stood there, the pain of his arm feeling like nothing compared to the pain in his heart. Trembling, he lets the tears fall and a sob escape him. He only wanted to help, and he was shoved aside as if he was nothing. As if he meant nothing.

Anger begins to bubble up inside him, replacing the pain with raging fires. Roughly wiping the tears from his face, a bitter expression appearing in its wake.

"Fine! Be that way! See if I care!" Joker yells into the night, hands balling into tight fists. Of course he cared, he cared far too much to not. Hot tears begin to stream down his cheeks as he tries to figure out how to fix this, how could have Bats changed back after everything they'd been through, how he'd been left alone like this. The Joker tries to move, to just get away from this place and forget anything ever happened, but his feet are glued to the spot. So that was it then. Being forced to come to grips with being blamed for something he didn't even know about came like a punch to the gut, and now he had to suffer for it.

He only wishes he knew why.

Lego Joker is fun to doodle

Featuring many Jonker bois and a couple of Batses too and using white gel pen as tipex because I refuse to doodle in anything other than pen

Also coloured with highlighters and purple pen and blue/orange gel pens (and a bit of gold pen in places)

The quality is scrubby but hey so am I so :)

Some parts of doodles are down to my headcanons and storyline sort of thing, such as Bats having glowy blue eyes while suited up and Jonker boi being a natural brunet and naturally pointed ears (I couldn't decide on blue or brown for his eyes so *shrugs*)

A shiver goes down my spine, forcing my eyes to keep looking at my phone. That voice. I knew that voice. Something only from the depths of Tumblr itself. In the reflection, I could see Him standing there, hovering mere inches from my face. Hesitantly I tap the reblog button and begin to write, pausing for brief moments to stare at the figure in the reflection, as if to make sure He was still there. Was I trying to please him by writing something good? Was I saving myself by writing something in general? I didn't know. I just kept writing. Words flowing from my thumbs tapping gently on the touch screen, characters coming to life before our eyes. Before I knew it, it was over. I had finished. There was no more to add, and I knew he would be pleased. Quickly, I type in some tags and hit post. The familiar 'ping' of a Tumblr notification comes from behind me, and I knew He had seen it. Pulling His phone from His pocket, he reads the story over, then smiles, something I wasn't sure if I was glad or scared to see.

"Great job, Amigo."

I hear him say, pride welling in my chest as I see that my story had been reblogged. I had been chosen. I became an Amigo.
