I always wanted Hank and Eli to play The Monster and The Old Man Who Warns The Protagonists and to encounter paranormal investigators. With this comic I could do both.
Originally they were going to be Ghost Adventures inspired but I had a eureka moment with Buzzfeed Unsolved/Ghost Files, especially the fandom version of them: a demon pretending to be a skeptic to mess with his human friend.
The fandom of course do a very cute and funny version of that, but it made me think about how messed up and evil it would be if done seriously. Gaslighting in its purest form.
Because the inspiration would be super obvious I considered naming these guys Shaun and Bryan but by the end it had developed way beyond that. Let’s just say, I hope you like these guys because they’ll be back. A lot.

There's a lot of mysteries surrounding Leo's life, and while he still lacked answers for some of them he gave up on pursuing them a while ago.
At least until a night out with his best friend April results in a rescue mission into the Hidden City. And upon stumbling into the lab where he and his father were mutated, he discovers he apparently has three siblings when his father only ever mentioned one.
Now motivated by this discovery–and some incredible magic weapons–Leo and April are determined to track these siblings down and reconnect with them.
Unfortunately, they're all pretty comfy staying where they are, and where they are is on the side of the guys who basically want to destroy the world.
And Leonardo may have to decide if he wants to save his siblings, or save the world.

TMNT Fun Fact of the Day
Casey Jones is a crime-fighting vigilante with a temper, but that doesn’t mean he’s all muscle, no brains. In the 2003 series, a lot of people think he’s either unemployed or does odd jobs to get by, but he’s actually a mechanic. He and Raph often work on their motorcycles together, and the episode “The Return of Nano” has Casey working at Coney Island, doing maintenance on the Ferris wheel.
He’s actually pretty passionate about motorcycles. When he’s not beating people with a bat, he’s got a brain in there somewhere.

TMNT Fun Fact of the Day
(Another long one, lots of pictures) What color are a turtle’s eyes? Well, depends on the year!
1987 - Black as the void. XD As the first turtles to actually show their pupils (the comic book version only had the white eyes at the time), they weren’t very creative with their eye color. No real irises, just black pupils, though that is the style of the cartoon. You can either say they just have black/very dark brown eyes or create your own headcanon.
2003 - At first, during seasons 1-5, it was the same case as the 1987 turtles. Black pupils only. Things change for seasons 6&7.
It’s a little hard to see, but each of the boys now have green eyes! We get some fun shots in the first episode of season 6 after they lose their masks and gear.
Very pretty! They almost match your skin, Leo! There is some divide when it comes to Donnie’s eyes, though. Some believe his eyes are a greenish-brown in season 7 instead of pure green like his brothers. I’ve seen descriptions with both “green eyes” and “brown eyes,” so I’m not sure. It’s up to you to decide.
Next up!
2007 - You know the song “Brown Eyed Girl”? It’s where they sing about the beautiful brown eyes of all the turtles.
Intense. I love it! …Except for Mikey.
He’s special with his youthful blue eyes.
2012 - Here’s where things get a bit more unique. Instead of a catch-all color, each turtle gets his own color to stun with. We got a dark blue for Leo, a vibrant green for Raph, a reddish-brown for Donnie, and a baby blue for Mikey.
2014/16 - Speaking of intense, look at these lovely eyes! Leo and Mikey share a similar shade of blue, while Raph and Donnie rock that hazel/yellow color.
Bayverse knows those eyes are to die for!
2019/Rise - Sadly, we are back to square one. Black pupils only. While these turtles are lovely specimens on their own, the lack of irises is a bit disappointing. I’m hopeful that we might get something in the movie, but if nothing else we can create our own headcanons.

"The city lights behind me are heavenly, darling."
Silentblaze couldn't help but loudly purr, the sound humming in her chest. She was staring into the eyes of the cat before her, the cat she desperately loved so much. Her tail swished behind her. The statement he'd just made alone didn't seem very romantic but she was waiting for the rest.
"After all," Capeclaw purred, "They illuminate your graceful features in a way only the bright lights of our Clan sign." Silentblaze briefly looked up at the Springfield sign, shining above their little dinner. Capeclaw had almost broken his neck catching two decent sized salmon. It was date night, of course. Capeclaw swept his tail over Silentblaze's face. "Ah, Silent, your very essence is-OW!"
"What?" Silentblaze gasped, ears flicking upwards. Capeclaw rubbed his nose. Something had hit him. "Are you okay?"
"What? Yes, yes, just something must have tumbled down," Capeclaw coughed, recovering quickly, "Perhaps it was a Starclan warrior, jealous of my ability to be in your presence." Silentblaze pressed her nose to his chest, the purring just growing louder. "Now, where were we-YOWCH! GREAT SPRINGSTAR'S BEARD THAT HURT!"
A pair of twin cackles were heard from above the two cats. Capeclaw's eyes narrowed. His tail flicked behind him as he beckoned Silentblaze, who was already flustered and annoyed, behind him. Above the pair, laughing their heads off were Barkpaw and Millpaw.
"Nice shot, Barkpaw!" Millpaw laughed.
"Next one's going straight between his eyes," Barkpaw chuckled, "Watch-hey where'd they go?"
"Hello, Bark."
"AHHHHH!" The boys screamed and jumped, turning around, eyes widening as they spotted the object of their pranks standing behind them. Silentblaze's fur was prickled, her teeth exposed. Capeclaw looked much calmer but Barkpaw could basically feel the hate rolling off of his dark ginger pelt.
"Boys, come now, I know your mothers didn't teach you to interrupt someone's dinner with wild antics," Capeclaw said, "I mean how would you feel if say, Silentblaze slit your throat while you were sitting down to some nice frog, hm?" The boys shook, pressing themselves against the ground. "Why did you do that?"
"Cuz-cuz it was funny?" Barkpaw said, "And you and Silentblaze try to kill me once a week!"
"Not really once a week," Silentblaze mumbled.
"Shouldn't you two be in camp, anyway?" Capeclaw growled, "Or at least not dealing with grown warriors eating-oh no...there goes our dinner." A pair of raccoons made off with their salmon. Capeclaw sneered. "Now how are we going to fix that, Barkpaw? Hm?"
"What if we catch some more fish for you, sir!" Millpaw yelped, "C'mon Barkpaw, let's go!" Barkpaw groaned and followed Millpaw.
"They'll have to grab their mentors and tell them what they did," Capeclaw cackled. Silentblaze looked to the ground. "Oh don't be glum, darling. It's still a very nice evening. Don't let those creatures ruin it." Capeclaw frowned as Silentblaze stood, shaking her pelt and starting down the hill again.
"It's alright," she breathed, "Let's just go get something from the fresh kill pile and go to bed." Capeclaw's ears flicked back and he turned towards the spot where the boys were being chewed out by Applestep and Stoatstream.
"Well Barkpaw," Capeclaw growled, "Once again you ruin my schemes and plans with your boyish pranks, embarrassing me at every turn." His claws extended into the dirt.
"Date night will commence at some point," Capeclaw purred, "Uninterrupted because your head will be severed from your body."

This is now canon for me.
My personal headcanon for SG Rung’s personality is that of a true nihilist, who has no loyalties and makes models to experience the joy of destroying them since he very well can’t destroy the real thing. Rather than care for and heal his patients, SG!Rung opts to have them repress emotion, nurture their self-destructive impulses and ultimately use them to achieve his own end goals before sending them off to Ratchet.
OR
SG!Rung could be a Mnemosurgeon instead of a therapist. Maybe he enhances his patients’ violent tendencies and edits memories to suit his and his employer’s needs accordingly? It’d definitely give SG!Rung more free time to build his models.
