weird car thought but I think Webby would have a very specific kind of internal crisis when it really drops in for her that Scrooge was around and present for the boys' pre-natal life. She's kind of got the monopoly on The Before, even if she was brushed under the rug. The boys moved in and didn't know anything, and she was the established one, but at some point after You Are Not Family, around when discussions are tentative but welcome, someone says something in passing and it really occurs to her Scrooge wanted and planned to be involved in their lives from infancy.

Like, Scrooge mentions something offhandedly about how hard ultrasounds were bc Della'd eat bananas beforehand to give the boys a sugar rush, or Donald comments that Webby's favorite old, really comfy chair in the library was supposed to be a nursing chair, or Scrooge swears at one point that Huey was the heaviest newborn but Donald insists they all weighed the same, or Webby asks about the fingernail scars on Scrooge's hand once and he tells her it was from holding Della's hand, or that Louie's birth was the hardest by far bc she was so tired by that point.

And it occurs to Webby that the boys really were there first, and it never really drops in for the boys but it really registers with her that they didn't just not grow up in the mansion, they left. She ended up in the mansion and then was ignored, but they started there, were wanted, and then were taken away.

idk I feel like there'd have been a really messy internal crisis, bc who would she have to go to? Idk thoughts?

Souheki - (Dazai x Ranpo)

okay, I gotta say it. I love souheki but also, I don't. Don't get me wrong, it's cute and I adore the fanart and they are the bestest besties but like I cannot think of a possible way their ship could be romantically entertaining, I can only process how boring they would end up together because of how intelligent they are. The relationship might be cute and might even work but as a story, as entertainment, nah.

I need raw emotion and angst and they simply cannot do that. Like if their relationship broke down, they would probably realise almost immediately and then fix or shake hands and go separate ways.

They can only be civil with each other and the only way to make it accurate and entertaining is to narrate the entire thing like a death note monologue. The majority of the content would have to be the inner thoughts and working of their minds which is not only hard to write but incredibly hard to pull off without seeming cringe af.

my point is that they are so stupidly intelligent that they are simultaneously red and green flags to each other.

Now someone prove me totally wrong and suggest me good Souheki fics to read.

It seems that my seasonal depression has prompted me to start my angst writing era. Cause once I sit in front of my computer, the only things that I can seem to write are things that could make people sob 😭 Don't worry, there will be happy endings (sometimes but not really)

My main aspiration for this bracket is to see people talking about outside of the context of this blog. I really want to see a team Department of Education rallying behind a post I did not make.

Juno (and Co.) are in a sticky situation, pinned down or captured, and it's looking pretty bad when suddenly some of the aggressors/gaurds run past, absolutely tweaking out. Babbling, saying utterly wack shit and shooting at nothing until they've taken each other out or collapsed.

Enter random stranger, seeming very pleased and here to help (unties them or whatever)

Everyone is like, who are you? And Juno is like [gritted teeth] Slip Jackson.

Just, IMAGINE.

(Bonus points if Slip says he was tipped off/sent by Nereyev and reacts to Juno with (A) no recognition whatsoever or (B) 'so you're the detective I've been hearing all about. Thought you'd be shorter')

Everything that can be be heard are the loud screams as she slowly falls to the ground. „KAZUHA!“ Heiji runs torwards his friend and scoops her up in his arms while Ran kicks the weapon out of the man’s hand and punches him so hard he faints, afterwards she runs to the two, Conan just stands there watching as his best friend holds her body in his arms. „KAZUHA. Hey Kazuha talk to me. For gods sake…talk to me“ Suddenly Conan shows up at Heijis side. „Hattori. Maybe you should let her go.“ „Dammit, no! She’s not dead. She can’t be dead. Such a moron like her could never just die like that without saying something. This…this just can’t be happening!“ „But Heiji…“ says Ran. „NO! Stop trying to convince me of something that’s not true!“ „Heiji we don’t mean it like that, but…“ Conan interjects. „But what? What do you want to say?“ Suddenly they hear a slight snicker and Kazuha begins to stir. „Kazuha?“ Then she sits up and begins to laugh hysterically. „Haha…you really thought I was dead…haha!“ „That isn’t funny at all!“ „Oh but I do find it very funny! On another note what did you mean when you said Moron?“ „Exactly what you think I meant!“ And they’re at it, arguing again meanwhile Ran and Conan just shake their heads.

The funny thing is I remember writing this in Physics class the day after I watched the Naniwa serial killer case where Heiji got shot. I really liked the end in the ambulance and was thinking something along the lines „an eye for an eye. If Heiji gets to scare Kazuha why not let her scare him as retaliation!“ And that’s how this oneshot was born lol

Teruko is fully in love with Fukuchi, but when Fukuzawa can’t kill him because he loves him too, it falls to her. He spares Fukuzawa of actually having to kill him with this back up plan, but doesn’t spare her.

And then she has to step aside as he calls out for Fukuzawa as he dies, and let Fukuzawa take the sword, take the credit, and hold the man she loves as he dies.

And still she leaves and makes Atsushi leave, to give Fukuchi those last moments alone with Fukuzawa.

The way loras really could be @musenssang (Willas') bastard is something I think about too much...

Look I know Boston manipulated the shit out of that situation but how is Top WHO KNOWS WHAT BOSTON IS LIKE gonna see a two year old video of Mew and Ray together and then just completely buy into everything Boston says and thinks the best thing to do in this situation is to fuck Boston....
