Today's treat are these cute af, 100% handmade earrings! I decided to do something special for my friends' birthdays and decided to make (not-so-)matching fruity jewelry!
Dżej got their signature Panda x Strawberry combo, and Patyś a 100% #nonbinary certified Froggo x Orange set. Everything is handmade and boy, believe me when I say that sculpting these tiny charms was nerve-racking. Luckily the painting was much more pleasant as I was able to do that while on vacation ;)
Anyway, they came out incredibly cute and I would love to try sculpting something a little more complied next time so I can get better at this.

I saw this idea somewhere online and being a cheapskate I am (and also having gay audacity™️) I decided that I don't want to spend gods know how much money but I'd rather diy it.
So now I present to you my wonderful Friends inspired key hook that brings me joy every time I come back home! I made it out of a wooden box, craft foam, sticky metal hooks and some random bits and bobs that I had lying around my drawers. I am extremely happy with the paintjob that helped it look complete.
How do you like it? Would you rather buy something like this or try to DIY it like I did?

Once again I had the ABSOLUTE PLEASURE to create a single cover for the amazing Cynka. From the photo, to the full cover art ❤️
And I have to tell you, this has to be my favourite one yet - it might be connected to how much I love the song itself!
So... presave the song and enjoy it as soon as it comes out!

Okay, so here we have another painted box, this time I made it for my beloved boyfriend. This became a sewing supply box, with all the needles, threads and such.
It is Pokémon themed, with some of his chosen purple ones - Crobat, Gastly and Drifloon - and his all time favs - Bulbasaur and Ivysaur.
This projects was a bit time consuming, between all the elements of the box, layers of paint and varnish and perfecting the Pokémon. But now that it's finished I can see how much use he gets out of it and it makes me incredibly happy!

A while ago I made a small plush penguin keychain for my sibling. It was a small and cute project and I had so muchfun creating it!
What brings me the most joy is creating things for others and hopefully making their days better.

I am nothing if not inconsistent and forgetful when it comes to self promoting 😅
Anyway, here we have another painted box, this time bisexual flag themed, stylised as a stained glass. It was a gift for one of my best friends.
As an addition I also created an earring from apoxie sculpt in the shaoe of the one and only Bill Cypher. I'm very proud of how I keep learning new techniques and getting better and better! 😊

Another Friday, another gift set - this time a bday box and earrings for @innaminitus. I wanted it to be fairly simple, so I painted the box black with some stars and a moon on top on the outside, and pink on the inside with some dried flowers in resin.
The earrings were heavily inspired by Spalona Artystka's work (link in comments) because I am totally addicted to her jewelry. They are made of moonstone, pastel bi flag coloured beads and some star/moon charms.
It might not be my best work but I enjoyed working on this project very much!

This time I am coming to you with 2 separate projects.
The first one is a gift I made for my friend - a small pendant with a navy blue background and embedded cogs, some glitter etc. I had so much fun placing them around the base, you have no idea.
The second is a keychain I made for my cousin as a bonus to her gift with a lucky pisces stone - agate - in 3 shades. I made it basically from scratch, including the tassel, the metal spring and all - it's cute but I really fucked up the quality of the photos ;~;

The Banshees Of Inisherin was a very complex movie. At first it seemed like a dark comedy centered around two friends living on an Irish island where everything is boring, and nothing ever happens. Even after the whole story has ended, nothing has changed, there was nothing that would drastically change the way people live on this island.
But still it feels like everything has changed. Nothing will ever be like it was before. And everything happened because of a huge misunderstanding and stubbornness.
Then comes the second layer - the metaphor, and the Irish Civil War of 1923, where two sides fought for independence from England, but one side wished to stay in a British Commonwealth, and the other side wished to be entirely free of any outside influence. Both sides fought for the same idea of being it's own country, yet still, because of being stubborn and hotheaded, for a year a bloody war took place on and off, resulting in nothing but meaningless deaths of young people.
Finally, I think it's a perfect analysis of a conflict in general. Every war, every fight starts with at least two different opinions, which often can be brought together if only we listened to each other and tried to put ourselves in a position of the other side.
Beside this, the movie is done in a perfect manner, landscapes are breathtaking, colors are coherent and the sound and music are only enhancing the overall moody climate of a lonely Irish island. It's all done well, and by the book, but not well enough to win any prize in my opinion.
The acting on the other hand should and probably will win some categories they are nominated in, because the actors reached the top heights of the art of acting, from the body language to the actual language - I just adore the Scottish accent, even though I, for once, needed subtitles more than I usually do. The simplicity of Pádraic, and melancholy of Colm are unimaginably well presented, and the judgement over them from Pádraic's sister, Siobhán is the best single representation of sassy wise woman on screen I've seen in a long time.
I said it's a dark comedy, but actually it's a comedy in the name only, because none of the jokes are funny for the sake of being funny, they are rather poking us and showing our own foolishness. At the same time, they keep the whole movie more entertaining, like a spoon of honey after bitter medicine. The movie bluntly says: "You're idiots for not listening to each other. Here's a man falling on his face, ha, ha, ha."
Overall it's just an amazing social commentary and a great movie.
See you in the audience!

Last year @innaminitus requested a bookmark for her sister - and I delivered!
At first i worked on an oval base but i messed up the resin, so I created another, round one which turned out amazing.
Painting the monstera leaves was so much fun, playing with all the shades of green and such.

Staying in the theme of the same gift for my cousin - here is a hand painted wooden box i made for her. It is quite simple and Sailor Moon themed, with Luna's portrait inside.
It brings me so much joy when I get to make things inspired by my beloved childhood franchises and it brings even more if I can share my work with others!
