Hello! Long time no talk!

I want everyone to know that I am still perusing my Canon x OC BOTW Comic but I had an art show coming up earlier this month that caused me to direct my attention towards that. But I intend to release chapter 5 towards the end of next month in April.

Thanks to those who have enjoyed the first 4 chapters and with the turn of the month I will be picking that back up and putting out content. Love ya!

Chapter 4: "Look to the Sky" Pt. 2

The night before Zelda and her group departure from the village, Anya grapples with her apprehension. Her dream serves as a compelling sign, urging her to summon her resolve and seize the impending opportunity. As she gradually reconciles with her fears enough to soothe her hesitant heart in accepting the princess's proposal, Anya's slumber is abruptly interrupted by an unexpected visitor—Terakko. In a chaotic yet endearing attempt to pack Anya's belongings, Terakko tries his best to encourage her to embark on an adventure.

Anya finds herself contemplating the crossroads of her life. Should she join Princess Zelda, Link, Impa, and the infamous Revali on their quest? It's an extraordinary opportunity, a chance to uncover her true self and unravel the mysteries of her past. However, one formidable obstacle stands in her way—Revali, the arrogant Rito warrior, with whom she shares a history fraught with a complex mix of disdain, hurt and rivalry.

Terakko, though unable to speak, seems to grasp Anya's predicament and encourages her to take the leap of faith.

With newfound determination, Anya makes her momentous decision, undaunted by the forthcoming challenges.

Chapter 4: "look to the sky"

WILL BE OUT IN A FEW DAYS!

I cannot thank you enough for the patience. I had intended to have this out last week but some important family needs at home led for a slower pace than I anticipated. I am SO excited to get this chapter out and set the stage for our adventure.

Will Anya find her courage? Will She be able to stand up against Revali and be the support that Zelda needs in their quest? And lastly will she be able to chart the course to discover who she truly is, and what happened to her parents all those years ago?

As our hero's set out, Anya stays determined and takes the plunge out into the Wilds of Hyrule in hopes of recruiting our Champions with the Princess and the rest of her friends. Maybe if she is lucky, she may also find some healing and common ground with Revali regarding their complicated and painful past.

Thank you so much! I put a lot of time into it so it makes it all worth while to hear that, truly. I really hope people are liking it and I know it will take time to catch cause there are so few chapters out. I am finishing up my 4th chapter within the next few days and can’t wait to get the adventure underway. I really wanted to put time into Anya and not just make it a fan service comic but work hard on her design and character. I am so flattered by your comments and appreciation. You are lovely! I have 405 pages written so i have a lot of material to draw for awhile haha

Unrelated to my BOTW content, here are some dragons I drew for a commission from my friend who is using them for Chinese New Year cards for her family. Year of the dragon my dudes 🐉 🏮🎊 When it comes to my NON comic style I tend to add much more detail and line work, this is due to when I do a comic I have to remember I am redrawing the characters hundreds of times and it's easier to keep a good pace with a finite approach. I love to illustrate other things and am a commission artist on the side. I do pop ups and sell my art around my community. But I was very happy on how these turned out. Just fun to share some diversity.

I like how you make Revali’s braids flowy like he’s around wind all the time

Thank you! Yeah it was an interesting style decision but I love a lot of movement in my comics and tone setting. For this reason i think making the braids and other characters hair more sensitive to the surroundings helps emphasize the environment. Like if you’re flying, standing on a ledge, or a gust of wind goes by, your hair is going to move. I just pushed his a little bit to help with that seeing it’s naturally a little more stiff. 🤗✍🏽✨

Inking late tonight and putting more pages in photoshop.

My BOTW OC: Anya (half rito, half hylian)

She is the main protagonist in my (Revali x OC) webcomic “Lost Memories”. This fourth chapter will hopefully be dropping mid February! So excited to get our small troop of hero’s out into the wilds in search of the other Champions soon!

Everything I do is handdrawn on actual paper before it goes into photoshop, so the process is long which is why it takes about 1 month and a half. However I love traditional comic making and am trying to find a mesh of the two for this project to test myself a bit. I also have written over 420 pages thus far in fanfiction so I am excited to keep moving forward. I wasn't expecting it to get this involved, but here we are haha.

- "Lost Memories" (Revali x OC) Webcomic: We flash forward a bit in our story to the Champions Ball:

As they took their places among the swirling couples, the rest of the world fell away. Their eyes locked, a silent acknowledgment passing between them that this dance was more than obligation to the event. It had been a revelation, a crack in Revali's armor that he felt deep down. As the song swept them onto the floor, Revali found an unexpected sense of peace—not just to the music, but to the moment shared with Anya, one that would resonate within him far longer than the night's fleeting hours.

The applause from the onlookers brought them back to the reality of the hall, the moment of connection lingering between them like the residual notes of the music. As they parted, there was a shared smile, small and genuine—a token of the warmth that had unexpectedly blossomed in the midst of their playful strife and confusing past.

He looked at her, and was reluctantly resigned to her beauty that night. Though he had no intention of telling her, He had found it harder in the past weeks to remember why he walked away all those years ago. And it was then they realized that they would be troubled, though from different perspectives, by the persistent question of "Why? Why after everything, after all this time...Are you still here?"

(This scene has been bopping around in my head, and I know it's a ways out in my comic... but I just HAD to)

"Lost Memories" New Chapter Release Approximation: Mid. February

Almost done penciling all off Chapter 4 of my BOTW (Revali x OC) comic. Some of it has already gone into the photoshop phase and we are slowly hacking away at it. Excited to get this adventure rolling and set out into the land of Hyrule with our hero's.

Tensions in Rito Village rise as Revali's irritation with Zelda's interest in Anya, his childhood friend turned annoyance, comes to the surface. Meanwhile, Zephyr, a questioning Rito warrior, challenges Revali's intentions and forces him to confront his past actions. Krystalla, a pragmatic warrior, offers a straightforward perspective and pushes Revali to address his emotions and history, all while dealing with his wavering attention. Amidst the unfolding events, relationships in the moonlit village begin to form. Anya faces a pivotal decision as she's approached by the princess, which may impact their quest to find additional Champions for the Divine Beasts and protect Hyrule.
