And here I am going for a nostalgia journey and watching 70s - 80s anime like Candy Candy and Rose of Versailles xD
small amusing observation but i remember when SU and Adventure Time were the big cartoons you couldnt escape from, loooots of original art suddenly had that 'bean mouth' style to reflect the way both of these shows drew mouths. now, that i cant seem to go a day without seeing hazbin, loooots of art has the same shape mouth as the hh/hb art style does. its interesting to see just how influential the "It Cartoon"'s art style is on art we see at the time, and it makes me wonder how the next big cartoon will draw its mouths, and if we'll see the same phenomenon follow

I wanted to do a screenshot study of a screenshot
-> I have been listening lot of Versailles (the jrock band, not the palace) last week
-> "Hmm... All this vibing would fit Gilbert probably."
-> Hence this study :)

I struggled so much with his face and mouth especially T-T I could have rendered and polish this more, but since it was supposed to be a quick study anyway... I didn't.
ALSO: If you haven't heard of Versailles before, you are welcome :) I think their aesthetic works well with IkePri xd

Even artists who freedraw regularly still do studies, refer to their past work, keep character sheets at hand, etc
Please don't impose that expectation on yourself just because of a live demo, tiktok, or timelapses especially

With all the hype for Dawntrail and it being based on FFIX I am a little shocked that the Final Fantasy XIV community isn't talking more about having Kuja's outfit in the game. It is a wonderful outfit and no lie I would buy it from Mogstation purely for the top for my Summoner.

I don't need an excuse to make a new character for FF14, but I'll take every excuse I can come up.
So. Let me introduce Astaria Alexandros
My attempt to make the most compelling and fulfilling story experience route.
I have not played all of the job quests so I might miss some deepening choices that would make the story experience more of a treat.
But so far I did start as a viera for the reason that she has a nice inner conflict brewing in Stormblood alliance raid series. As a viera She has left her home and clan to pursue her calling as an adventurer. A siren song of freedom of adventuring. Or an echoing calling about destiny or something else, strong enough for her to put down the Forest Code and seek a new start in Ul'dah.
Why Ul'dah? Because so much of ARR and the patches have stuff that benefits from having WOL with personal tides to Ul'dah as a starting city. And that leaves us to have a choice of gladiator, pugilist or thaumaturgy. And the thaumaturgy gives a nice lore on soul travelling so having to dwell on that even in start as a part of your personal class story is giving nice background for things to come.
I'll hope I have strength to make updates on how this turns out to be. But we see.
