I reworked my wood engraving a bit and like it even more now. I added more details and it feels a bit less chunky now.

Might return to it again in the future but for now I'm happy with it .

Hi there bird friend :)

I made a cute linocut and am endlessly fascinated by the difference paper , paint and other things make. Both prints are from the exact same lino block but one has so much more texture while the other is much cleaner way more even with the black paint.

I like both versions of my feathered little friend.

Omg I ordered new , much more expensive, lino cutters and the first few arrived today. IT'S A GAME CHANGER! They go through like butter, no force needed at all 😮 and so much more precise! I need to do a lot of linocuts to justify the price tag but damn!

I make small batch historical recreations of Stede's canonically plausible household self-care stuff, and while I have my own labels for them, I've been wanting to make fandom-specific, in-universe ones as well, with appropriate art. The stampable design you've made here, with its excellent ship and detailed line work, is really fantastic, so-- I wanted to check about your commission status, and whether you'd be interested! New project for work. I'm trying to figure out how to do the pattern for a lino cut. I'm doodling on a bad printout and revengyfied the ship as best as I could after working with the print the whole time (should have done that first but didn't think of it then).
