So today's my beloved partner's birthday! He wanted a sona for himself that wasn't related to any of his ocs and still reflected his vibe, I didn't have much time to work on different designs before his birthday was actually here but... yeah

I know I sent you this drawing before with a little message, but I feel like I could say so much more to you! I love you so, so, so much!! In all these years we've known each other there were very few moments were we couldn't chat properly and I can tell you that my life isn't as fun without you, everywhere I go and everything that happens to me I'm always thinking about how I'm gonna share it with you, I always wanna tell you everything and just... share my life with you in the best way I can. I wish we lived closer to each other cus sometimes all I wanna do is hug you and just cuddle you so both of us can feel better. I wish we could go on events together or that I could take you to my other friends places whenever I go there, so I could spend time with you and they could actually get to meet you then... I mean I think every single person who ever heard me talk for some time has heard something about you already because you're in my mind the whole time! You've been so important to me for so long, you helped me so much with so many different things and I wanna do the same for you! I just want you to know that no matter what happens in your life I'll always be here for you and I'll always love you! You're not getting rid of me now or at any other moment of your life!

Oof, my last post here was from when my computer stopped working!

I'm sorry for that!

I mean, my computer still isn't working, but I could have done a better work at keeping you guys updated, so let's do that:

About the computer

After talking to my uncle and a friend of mine got to the conclusion it was probably the chassis that was short circuit circuiting everything, I tried speaking to the company who made it trying to get a warranty, and after months of me trying to talk to them they finally replied and they wanted me to ship my entire computer (with all components that are way more expensive than the chassis itself and aren't from the same company) in a box to another state through the mail and I'm so sorry, but I don't trust that no one won't break anything

My friend agreed with me it wouldn't be a good idea to mail the whole computer to them and suggested we bought a new chassis, so that's what we did, the chassis is finally home and all I need to do is transfer all the components from one chassis to the other (haven't done that yet cus I need my uncle's help and he's traveling)

Other updates

I was using my laptop to work on drawings, but it's an old computer who was struggling a lot with the drawing software plus it's far from being a mobile set up, and since some friends invited me to work with them sometimes (just be at each other's companies while we work) I used some money I was saving to buy a tablet. It sure have helped me a lot lately, specially at the beginning of the year that I've been busy with non drawing related stuff and can't be home as much, but have a few free moments to doodle some things.

I've also been working on commissions and I'm making some genshin characters art that I plan on making stickers and maybe some other things too! I'll post those here soon!

Those are all the updates I have so far, I'll try to make at least one update every month to try to keep me used to post here again

I still dont have my computer working, but ive found my old notebook... the one that keeps turning itself off... hopefully I'll be able to be productive tomorrow!

My goal here is to share my art with others and get more people interested in my OCs (and my QPP’s OCs too, they’re basically my adopted children now). Fanart is also something that will show up somewhat often around here, specially Genshin Impact fanart!

That's pretty much how his addiction works tbh. Part of it is him being actually focused on his work (the harder it is to solve something, the more he hyperfixates on it) and part of it is cus he wants to get done with his missions asap so he can get paid and go to the next one, finish it quickly, get paid and so on.

Does he realize it's because of it? Nope. If you ask Nolan he just consumes coffee just as much as any other brazilian would. He doesn't even realize it is an addiction tbh

JJ was for a long time one of Nolan's targets, but both of them ended up bonding the more time they ended up spending together and getting to know each other. They found out they have a lot of things in common, like their love for reading, their thirst for knowledge, their liking for history.... and even their coffee addiction actually. Nolan frequently spends days awake trying to find out as much as he can about a target, including their location if that's not included in his mission's file. His attention gets sucked into his work very easily and he's constantly thinking about it, but JJ knows that him being a human should sleep way more than he actually does when he gets so focused on work.

About the sketch: oh bOY! Even with me using all sorts of guides to help me Nolan's face was A STRUGGLE! That's not really a complaint, though, it was for sure a challenge, but it wasn't a bad one. It took me a while to understand the position I actually wanted his head to be hahaha One of my biggest struggles is to draw the cranium at one angle and then the face at a different one. Sounds weird, I know, but if you're used to draw the face a certain way your brain will go straight to that the next time you draw a face again, even if it's at a different angle. Your brain likes patterns and simple stuff, the less it has to work, the more it likes. Not gonna lie it's fun to give myself these small little challenges inside this challenge (no, I'm not doing the big stuff because I know I need to keep it somewhat simple, I like to make me suffer but not too much). If I drew the same thing everyday I wouldn't notice a bunch of stuff I need to improve at, anyway, and my goal here is to get better at drawing faster! Also just adding that these drawings are made in one (1) day, so usually I just go for 1 panel but made it look nice than make the comics with more than one panel but can't finish it in time to post it in the same day... plus I'd be dying by the end of the week! hahaha Who knows, maybe I'll make a comic challenge at some point!

Aiko and JJ met each other because of Demro and became really close to each other eventually. JJ has a very strong hunt instinct, which means he usually have fun joining Aiko whenever she decides to hunt or anything like that. They also frequently go to bars or each other's place just to drink and talk about their lives (just, you know, vent out to each other and share the tea)

About the sketch: I knew I wanted a more dynamic pose than the ones I've been making for their interactions and I've noticed my anathomy wasn't the best, mostly because I didn't have much reference, and when I did try to look for references I'd take ages to find one for each character that would make sense in the situation I wanted. So for once I decided to use the 3d models in clip studio ent it was way easier than I was expecting... I'm still learning how to use this software, but every time I find something new about it I love it more, honestly Sounds very much like I'm trying to sell it to other people, but it's just me trying to justify to myself why I spent money on it instead of just sticking to the free softwares out there (they're really good too, don't get me wrong, csp just has a lot of different options, though) Anyway, art software ramble aside, I really liked how this sketch turned out!

What? Did you think it would be cute and fluffy just because they're a couple? Well, guess what, that is them being cute and fluffy! Just like the other ones, I used an incorrect quote for this one that, honestly fits them so much! These two met when they were way younger, Demro started following Aiko around whenever she'd hunt so he could feed on the human souls and eventually they became friends, they grew up closer and closer, Demro started crushing on her and, yeah it took Aiko a long while, but she did fall for him too!

About the sketch: I've been feeling so tired the past few days, like my muscles feel tired... which is kind of weird, but makes sense, I've been doing a lot of stuff besides working on the sketchtember, so I guess that's why I couldn't make myself draw for the past 2 days. But don't worry! I still plan on making all the prompts I've written down! This sketch was very fun to make, honestly I think the only part that actually took me some time was Aiko's face and her expression, everything else was surprisingly easier than I was expecting, so much that when I finished the drawing I was questioning myself what was missing hahaha
