Techno怀着忐忑不安的心情按动门铃，在一阵急促的脚步声响起后，一个金发碧眼的男孩打开了门。
Technoblade一下子愣住了，那个孩子也愣住了。
“Technoblade？”他喃喃自语，“一定是我出幻觉了吧。Techno不是在军队里吗？怎么就突然回来了……”
Technoblade尴尬地站在那里，一时间不知道刚说什么。
“咳咳，”最终他还是咳嗽几声，“你好，请问Philza在家吗？”
“Tommy——你怎么开一个门花这么长时间……”一个熟悉的声音从房子里的另一端传过来，Wilbur拿着一杯可乐走过来，却被眼前这一幕吓得差点摔掉手里的杯子，“……Technoblade？”
“嗯，Wilbur，我回来了。”Techno僵硬地点点头。
“真的是你！Techno！”那个男孩的脸一下子被点亮了，“你真的回来了！Phil一直在念叨你！对了对了，你之前还说要教我用枪，现在可以教我了吗？”
用枪？Techno下意识地皱眉，努力回忆这个誓言的具体情景，最后艰难地捕捉到了记忆角落里那一抹过于鲜亮的金色。
Tommy，哦，是Tommy。
他终于想起了那个在他入伍前只有几面之缘的孩子。入伍时他还这么小，甚至只到Technoblade的腰间。
时间推着他们向前，他们四个也逐渐被时间打磨成不同的样子。
“我来帮你拿行李！”Tommy抢过他手里沉重的手提箱，哼着歌跑回屋子里，甚至还有余力大喊大叫:“耶！Technoblade回来了！Technoblade回来了！”
直到这时Technoblade才迟钝地意识到Tommy已经不再是孩子了。Tommyinnit，这个一开始只会绕在他身边吵吵闹闹的孩子逐渐被时间抹去了身上不成熟的一切，他逐渐抽枝生长，脸上虽然还未褪去孩提的天真，但是已经可以隐约可见少年的坚毅了。
“Techno，你回来了！”闻讯而来的Philza惊喜地把他迎进来，“你都四年没回来了！回来也不打电话给我们！”
四年？真的只有四年么？他恍惚了一下，时间在他的眼里只是一团流动的景色，你向前走，它跟着你流动，然后改变一切。
所以时间才是这么讨人厌的东西。
他搓了搓自己几乎要被室外的低温与极致的尴尬冻僵了的脸。
屋子里的摆设让Techno觉得陌生。那张被他和Wilbur意外磕掉一个角的桌子换成了一张更大的实木桌子，上面摆放着热气腾腾的菜肴和吃到一半的意大利面;电视柜上那台偶尔会发出噪音的台式电视被换成了崭新的液晶电视;而原本空白的墙上挂着他们的照片，最显眼的莫过于挂在正中心的Philza与Kristin的结婚照。Techno记得当时他确实收到了请柬，但是因为在军队里实在挤不开时间，他只能抽空发一条短信委婉地拒绝了Phil的邀请。后来听说似乎是Wilbur代替了他上台发言，Tommy提着大大的篮子，在Kristin身后用力抛洒玫瑰花瓣。
真可惜啊，错过了这么多美好的事情。Techno在心里叹息一声。
军队里的生活并不美好，严肃的命令声、身上永远消除不了的伤疤、格斗场上嘴里淡淡的血腥味混合在一起，在他的生命里留下了深深的划痕。有时他在深夜无声地嘶吼着，直到筋疲力尽地倒在床上，仿佛这样就可以吐出被高压的训练死死压进胸腔深处淤积的痛苦。
“要在这里留几天？”Philza带着他坐在一张放着软垫的座椅上，Tommy给他端来一盘意大利面，不忘在上面浇上一大勺肉酱，并用番茄酱画了一个歪歪扭扭的爱心。
“不走了，我退伍了。”Technoblade用叉子将意大利面送进嘴里，“受了点伤，就退下来了。”
在其余三个人或心疼或惊讶的目光里，他抬起左手臂:“这只手臂在之前出任务的时候被砍了几刀，目前看来恢复的不错，只是以后都不能提重物了。我早就不想待在里面了，所以上面那群家伙刚说了想让我退伍，我就直接回来了。”
“噢，Techno……”Philza的语气说不出是心疼还是责备，“你应该小心一点！”
“我知道，我知道。”Technoblade敷衍着Philza，继续吃着热乎乎的意大利面，“还有，Tommy，Wilbur，不要用这种好像看着易碎品一样的眼神看着我，我没有这么脆弱。”
“但是你受伤了！”Tommy双手叉腰，争辩着。
“我已经好的差不多了。”Techno放下左手臂。
“然后这个麻烦至极的后遗症说不定你这辈子都好不了，”Wilbur接过话茬，“血神也会像loser一样被伤痛打倒。”
“行吧，你们说什么都无所谓。”Techno耸耸肩，继续解决盘子里的意大利面，突然停止咀嚼，吐出一粒衬衣的纽扣。
空气一下子陷入寂静。Philza一愣，随后用谴责的目光看向今天正好穿着衬衫的Wilbur;Tommy一下子笑了出声;而Wilbur看了一眼自己的衬衫，尴尬地发现自己右边袖子上的纽扣不知道在什么时候消失了。
Technoblade看了他们三个人很久，终于叹了口气，捡起那个纽扣，洗干净后递给一脸尴尬的Wilbur:“Wilbur，你的衬衣纽扣掉了。”
