I donāt have Disney+ so I donāt even watch the show but I am so in love with the way he professes his love for her; he freaking stole my heart just from the gifs. ššššš
And I donāt really know what happens tomorrow, or in two minutes when we walk out that door. All I know isā¦ I want this feeling to keep going. Because this whole experienceā¦ Iām justā Iām not ready for it to be over. For us to be, I mean. And if that means doing another musical, then fine.
I get to pick the musical.
Fine. Thatās fine. Itās all fine. I justā I donāt want this to be just a showmance. Really. I want it to be the real thing. I mean, I think it is the real thing, I justā¦ I want a chance to prove it. I do.
High School Musical: The Musical: The Series ā 1x10: Act Two (2020)
Yep this is true. Timeless will forever hold a huge place in my heart, no show will ever compare to this one.
Here's hoping we get to see more! š
donāt feel like getting over them or this show ever
Timeless truly changed me and will forever remain one of the best iāve seen. itās even more than a show ā itās an experience. thank you cast, crew, producers for letting me be part of this. thank you, timeless ā¤
Yesterday was Harry's lightening bolt, today I got ... Hufflepuff!!! My house! Yes I, like Newt Scamander, have been sorted into Hufflepuff house, so I'm quite proud to find these ones today. āŗļø
Now on to day 4!
(Finally recorded without messing up and having to re-record, progress! š)
Yesterday I got Ravenclaw socks, today I get ... the lightening bolt!! Can't wait to see what tomorrow will be. šāŗļø
(Again, I had to re-record the video because my family was talking in the background and I made a weird noise that I didn't like when I pulled out the socks. š š )
1. Happy Birthday to my mom, without you, I wouldn't be here. Lol š
2. I bought a couple of Harry Potter sock advent calendars!! And here's the 1st one of December!!
When I saw these at Target I had to have them, who doesn't like socks?! And Harry Potter? Yes please!
So we will be doing this until the 24th, naturally. š Hope you like the first pair!!
(Also, the struggle to get this open was not funny, I have a couple of fail videos of me trying to open this damn thing. Would it be funny/ entertaining to see?)
*peep the little Fantastic Beasts recommendation on the flap*
THANK YOU!!!!!!!! I don't understand all this hate. For me, I found this movie so entertaining, and not "confusing" at all. I could totally follow this story.
Now, I don't know if it's because I've been SUPER invested in this movie, constantly reading anything that came out; interviews or such. And constantly watching whatever clips came out leading up to the release date, that I could follow this movie, but I just didn't see how anyone could hate on this so much!!!
Sure, maybe it rushed through the characters stories, and it was VASTLY different from the first, but I found the story really entertaining!
And as a hardcore Newtina shipper, this movie was another reason to love it, because we were spoiled with feels. š
And honestly, I hate all these people hating on this movie without even seeing it first. Basing their opinions on what they've heard. My own friend was judging this movie and ragging on it BECAUSE of rumors she heard.
It makes me sad, but whatever. I love this movie, and I can't WAIT for the third. Screw everyone else who judge without any real reason to judge.
Iām sorry, is it just me, or are there no legitimate reasons being given for outright hating Fantastic Beasts as some people seem to?
Seriously, itās all either 1) āthe story was confusing and convolutedā, which is unfortunate and understandable from a standpoint that it means a few characters are less developed in this film than others, but this film is clearly a part 2, and this is a relatively minor complaint thatās being used extremely melodramatically and 2) āIām mad about where the story wentā.
Guys, these arenāt reasons to call the film āthe worst film everā or āhorribly madeā (which it is certainly not) and these certainly arenāt reasons to trash the entire franchise and currently incomplete story, while insulting the fans who appreciate it and the team who created it. When I say that thereās so much determined hatred surrounding this franchise, I mean it. And I canāt understand it. It comes from absolutely nowhere. Itās just non-fans and fans who are angry at Rowling for political reasons, looking for excuses to denigrate one of her projects. Itās pathetic. Or itās from non-fans that simply donāt care and just want to see a franchise with an excellent track record mess up. Iāve seen everyone trotting out the usual premature and uninformed story complaints, imputations of nonexistent āplot holes!ā, usually based on their own misunderstandings or outright refusal to pay attention, and ādiversityā talking points that have nothing to do with how well or not a story is made in an attempt to defame her new work.
IMO, Crimes of Grindelwald is, in an artistic sense, a much better made FILM (visual experience) than most of the other Potter films including the first Fantastic Beasts, and it fleshes out, details, deepens, and widens the Wizarding World in really bold, fascinating new ways, complete with new International locations and cultures, both Wizarding and non-Wizarding, new basic settings, magical items and concepts, languages, conditions/diseases/afflictions, family lineages, in-universe literature, creatures, themes, time-periods, political intrigue, and references to historical events. It complicates the world, and makes it seem even closer to reality than it already did, and the direction (the use of a handheld camera and natural lighting inside Hogwarts, the visual kineticism of the MACUSA Prison Break, the claustrophobic quick shots of Queenie running distressed through Paris) is the most unique weāve seen yet in the series, and itās all in service of a rich, detailed story that can actually be re-examined and explored multiple timesā¦in my mind, Rowling transformed the filmic experience into one with far more narrative complexity than is usual for the film medium, and that doesnāt make it a bad film, that makes it an extremely unique and very good film, in my opinion. And the flawless, beautiful, detailed, and diverse design elements at play only add to the sense of depth, detail, and artistry to the world and the story Rowling created. As film critics John Campea and Brian Truitt state, it is a bold film, as it is a film that puts a novelistic array of plot threads that arenāt usually seen as suited for film, into a film. Itās a different experience and something that critics arenāt trained to review from a narrative standpoint, because it eschews some of the traditional, more clean-cut elements of a simply linear, three act structured film. In this sense, itās also not the most traditionally entertaining and commercial of film experiences, because a lot of it acts as a mood piece and a drama, not as blockbuster action-adventure. If this film was being released for the indie-market, it mightāve been judged differently, imho. Anyways, a lot of the crude denigrations Iāve seen of the film seek to disregard this for the sake of 1) continuing to baselessly insult this franchise 2) refusing to credit Rowlingās Wizarding World stories with the maturity and sophistication they deserve to be credited with in the face of an even more intelligently made and politically themed film and 3) whipping up a storm over personal feelings pertaining to relative irrelevancies, like canon and the specific directions of certain plot threads and character arcs that they donāt personally like. And to give the film such bad publicity over that shit? Itās shameful, bitchy, and selfish, tbh.
Oh, and for the idiots making the sensationalistically negative blockbuster clickbait: the film debuted to about 254 million WWā¦more than the first film. Fuck the US domestic number.
Over the last 3 days since seeing Crimes of Grindelwald I had accidentally turned my account into a Wizarding World fan accountš I canāt help it! I just love Harry Potter and Fantastic Beast so much!!!ā¤ļø
I will just now forever talk about how much I love Newt.
HAPPY FANTASIC BEASTS DAY!!! It's finally here!!! Tonight, I am seeing FBCOG at 7:00 and I can hardly contain myself!!!!!! This has been a long awaited 2 years and now I get to see the story continue. My shipper heart can't take it! Finally, I get to see more Newtina. āŗļø
Thank you!!! Please say it louder to the people in the back!! You guys will find anything to complain about.
Pls hear
Iām so disappointed to harry potter fandom right now, is there a damn thing you donāt complain about? First the āyou canāt apparate in Hogwarts!!!!!ā, then the Dumbledore and Grindelwald relationship and now calling the choice of making an asian woman Nagini racist? Youāre going too far, let me explain you some things:Ā
1- Itās called characterization, she has something that define her and influences her choices exactly like Remus fucking Lupin. Sheās not just a random asian girl put there to serve the dark lord, sheās a fucking individual with a personality, a story, a curse. She MUST be important if she ends up somehow serving Voldemort and since you donāt know the dynamic you canāt judge it as racist.Ā
2- JK is doing five movies about racism and supremacy, she knows what sheās talking about. Giving an Asian girl an important role, a characterization and interesting dynamics is not racist, itās the exact opposite.
Ā 3- Iām tired of you complaining about the continuity with the HP serie and books. Your know it all behavior is toxic to the fandom and very disrespectful towards the woman who created this universe and this story and certainly knows better than you how it works and where and how the story has to go.Ā Everything will be clear in the end just wait to see the movie.Ā
