I really like Lmk but I hate I HATE HATE HATE how mischaracterized these characters are in the fandom.

I tried to make the charts imbiguious so that they could be used for multiple media characters but they got really specific lol.

I'm gonna make a part two of this for Pigsy, Tang, and Sandy cause their characterization bothers me too.

online communities are so strange because people slip away so easily. you can be on here for years, folding people you've never met into the fabric of your daily life, and then they disappear, leaving only ghost posts scattered across tumblr behind. or their blog stays dormant, for weeks, months, years, until you're only still following them because you remember that they love sunflowers or they were kind to you when they didn't have to be or the last thing they posted was sad and raw and you still worry about them sometimes.

and sometimes they come back when you least expect it, years later, even, and there's this sudden rush of relief like there you are, there you are, even though you barely knew each other.

there's a strange kind of love to it. i don't know you and i want to hold your hand across miles and time zones and oceans. i can still see the imprint of you in this community you left. you don't anyone will notice or care when you're gone, but we notice and we care and we wish you well.

i hope you're all okay out there. i hope the sun is shining on your face and you are breathing deeply. i miss you.

you know what I find so funny Mr Tang is often considered the "nerd" of the group when he really just hyperfixates over the monkey king's legens and has glasses. he's more like Leo from tmnt 2012 in the way obsesses over who he believes to be a fictional character only in Tang's chance it turns out that that character reveals himself to be a real person.

A nerd by definition "a person seen as overly intellectual, obsessive, introverted, or lacking social skills". you know who fits that description perfectly.

overly intellergent, would defiantly be used to describe the intellergent stone monkey.

obsessive, cue past macaque under the montien "obsessive demon".

introverted, bro has lived on a deserted island with no one but his monkeys for the last 500 years. also had no friends

lacking social skills, communication issues go brrr

he also managed to complete his training under master shaboti which normally takes lifetimes in 20 years. and that includes the time taken teaching him how to read, write, expanding his vocabulary, math, probably some alchemy, and medicine because yes in jttw wukong is a highly competent physician. all that along with spiritual studies, meditation, physical training, immortal training, magic, and spells. all perfected in 20 years.

Don't let wukong's demeanor fool you he is a fucking probody and a closeted nerd.

I based my character on Wukong. (S3, lmk)
