Okay, so I’m re-visiting Seven Deadly Sins and I’m getting a little ticked. I like the story and whatnot, but(!) can someone explain to me why Ban isn’t allowed to feel the slightest bit selfish????? The man goes through so much just to be told his problems aren’t as bad as some of the things Meliodas has endured.

Ban: “Do you know how it feels to watch the girl you love die twice?”

Meliodas: “Ye. Elizabeth and I are on #107 rn lol”

Ban: “Sorry ‘bout that. Let me go through endless amounts of pain and suffering because I didn’t know something about your personal life you’ve never mentioned.”

I’m not saying that to back-burner Meliodas and Elizabeth’s pain, but Ban should be allowed to mourn without feeling as guilty as he does. A lot of it is self torture and someone needs to give enough of a damn about him to say his feelings are valid.

Unpopular opinion, but I actually like the fact that Togashi wrote the end of the chimera ant and election arcs the way he did. I think it was super important for Killua to stop seeing Gon as this godlike being who could do no wrong. It worked to progress Killua’s understanding of friendship and Gon’s understanding of his own life and decisions. Beautifully written, as per usual.

Just watched the Demon Slayer movie and it really messed me up 😂 I loved the movie, but the usual DS sadness mixed with my uncontrollable bladder did me in🥲 If you were hesitant to watch it PLEASE DO! IT WAS AMAZING AND TOTALLY WORTH TWO HOURS OF YOUR TIME (plus my husband showed up for like three seconds at some point)

I stg- if I ever answer my phone and hear “hey, it’s Nev from Catfish,” IM THROWING MY PHONE
