Being the eldest daughter of the Olo'eyktan of the Metkayina was just as it sounded. Your father, Tonowari, was always telling you to prepare for your future role as a Tsahík. That also brought up talk about who’d your future mate would would be, which was a whole uncomfortable conversation for you to have with your father. You were secretly in a relationship with Lo’ak so every time he brought up mating you just had to smile and nod. He would never approve of you and Lo’ak.

I mean he wasn’t even a true Na’vi. Nonetheless your still and continue to be infatuated with him. No matter how many fingers he had or the amount of eyebrow hairs he had you would always have a devotion to him.

And you made sure he knew it too…

Lo’ak had asked you to meet with him by the shoreline. You agreed without hesitation, alone time with Lo’ak you would always agree too. You were walking down to the shoreline when you saw your mother, Ronal, talking to your father. You couldn’t help yourself, so you listened in on them. And you definitely shouldn’t have…

“Tonowari when is our daughter going wed…” she whispered. Your father was clearly disappointed at the question but answered nonetheless.

“She’s just taking her time yawne…be patient with her…” you were happy he tried to defend you but she was right. You need to find a mate…

As you finally made it to the shoreline you saw Lo’ak. With that big bright smile he always has when he saw you. You were happy to see him of course but he could tell something was wrong.

“Hey (Y/N)…what’s wrong with you?” He teased only slightly to lift the mood he felt from you. You looked up at him staring deep into his gorgeous amber eyes.

“Overheard my father and my mother talking about me…” you said continuously looking deep into his eyes. His ears moved up in response.

“They want be to mate with someone…” you continued a smirk plastered across your face. You saw a small blush come across his face, you chuckled at his nervousness.

“Really?” He asked the warmth in his body was immeasurable at this point. You just nodded at smirked at him with a glint in your eyes. You had already discussed with him your responsibilities and how you would be the future Tsahík. He was self-conscious about it, he knew in order for you to become Tsahík you would need to mate with a Metkayina which he was not. You didn’t care in your mind he was your perfect match.

“Yeah…but there’s no Metkayina that pleases me…” you purred in his ear as you got closer to him. He was a flushed mess as you got closer, when you were right by his lips you continued to speak.

“…but there’s a Na’vi that pleases me just fine…” you whispered as you pressed your lips against his. He in seconds returned the kiss grabbing your waist and deepening the kiss. You would not let your parent’s expectations affect your love for Lo’ak never has and never will.

You had to break for air eventually so when you broke the kiss you just placed you head on his and just stared into his eyes. There was heat in his body and your as well. He knew if you said jump he would say how high, if you wanted him to kill he would do it, anything you wanted you just needed to ask him for. His only weakness other than his stubbornness was you and he knew that. He was scared of leaving him but your body language, your lips, your hands, helped ground him.

“You’re all mine Lo’ak…I don’t care if I become Tsahík or not…” you looked into his eyes with nothing but love. He could tell by your tone your were serious. Not one lie left your mouth. He melted from your words just frozen with a gushed look on his face. You just giggled at his response.

“Don’t be shy now Lo’ak…I’m all yours too…” you continued he was still stunned but a smile started to grow as he images your future together. All you did was stare into each other’s eyes as you smothered one another.

Jake Sully had just arrived at your home. You knew who he was and also knew that trouble followed him. That was something you shared. Your father, Tonowari, always said you were like a magnet for mishap. Out of all your siblings, Tsireya and Ao’nung, you were the disobedient. You were the middle child it was slightly expected for you to lash out.

As you and you siblings unmerged from the water you could tell the younger Na’vi boy already had eyes for Tsireya but you were looking at the older one. You made eye contact with him but you didn’t shy away from him. You just stared softly at him as he studied you. He eventually started to look away when your father and his father started discussing why they were here.

“Why have you come here Jakesully?” Tonowari asked looking at every Na’vi in front him with a curious eye.

“I seek protection for my family…” Jake Sully starts making sure to look at his family.

“You are forest people, we are sea people, your abilities will be of no use here…” Your father continued. You look slightly behind him and see your mother, Ronal, approaching.

You could tell from your mother’s face that she wasn’t interested in having these Na’vi here. She starts to circle all of them pointing out things about their appearance. My heart aches for them, I feel awful about my mother’s judgment towards them.

“Their arms are thin…” She continues circling to the youngest boy and grabs his tail.

“Tails small, they will be no good in the water…” She reaches for his hands and rubbed them vigorously as she lifted them up.

“Look they’re not even true Na’vi!” She exclaimed while looking at the people. You were confused, how could they not be true Na’vi?

“Look look see! I was an avatar then I turned Na’vi we can adapt!” Jake pleaded with my mother. Both my parents silently agreed and turned back to Jake.

“My children Tsireya, Ao’nung, and (Y/N) will teach your children our ways…” Your father ordered. Ao’nung’s face twisted.

“But father…” he started only to be shushed by your father. You looked back at the older Na’vi child with curiosity and a little excitement. He was looking at you a little glint in his eye you couldn’t pinpoint.

“Come I’ll show you to your marui.” Your sister softly said directing all of us to follow.

You started to slow down your pace so you could be next to the older Na’vi boy.

“You’re going to love our home…” you say to him sweetly as he turns to you.

“I’m (Y/N)…” you continue looking the boy up and down in a slightly flirty way. A small smile grows on his face.

“I’m Neteyam…” he replies in the same manner as he copies you movements. You continue to talk as you walk him to his family’s marui.

“I hope to see you later (Y/N)…” Neteyam said while leaning on his new marui as he analyzed you. You just smile sweetly at him.

“Oh you will Neteyam…” You said with a wink as you walked away from the marui. He just watched you walk away, his eyes not once leaving your alluring figure as you jumped into the sea. He was utterly dazed by you, he couldn’t register that someone as perfect as you could into him.

Weeks had gone by at this point and you and Neteyam’s relationship had grown like flame when you add fuel to it. And that flame was noticeable to everyone. Neteyam needed help with his ilu, you were there to help him. You needed help lifting anything, he was there. You were practically attached at the hip to him.

Neteyam was usuals the leader in every relationship he had, platonic or romantic, but with he was like putty in your hands. A blushing, hot mess whenever you touched him. It didn’t even have to a flirtatious touch either. You graze his hand on accident while walking past him, a warmth fills his body. You were so magnetizing to him. And you could tell…

You teased him constantly, always glancing at his lips, grabbing his hand confidently, like you were already together.

You and hun were just having a meal together when you heard a horn blow. The sky people were here and we were going to battle. Panic struck you like a lightning bolt. You knew how to fight as a back just in case this happened but you never thought it would happen.

You and Neteyam immediately got up and looked for your families. Going separate ways for now, you couldn’t help but pray to Eywa for his safety silently.

Jake Sully frantically was explaining to your father that your sister and his children were being held captive. You kind went blank, you hadn’t seen Neteyam since you separated earlier and Jake had no idea where he was.

Your father had told you to stay in the marui but he knew you would come anyway. He knew how stubborn you could be in situations like this. Jake was leading all of us to the sky people’s boat. As you got closer you saw Lo’ak, Tsireya, and Tuk tied to the monster hissing at an avatar. Jake Sully was telling my father that he had to approach alone. The fear in your body was unbearable, you still had not seen Neteyam. But you felt some vibrations from the waters below and seconds later a tulkun emerged from below, leaping on the boat. You were shocked at the tulkun’s violent behavior but it gave your people a distraction to attack. While the fighting broke out you snuck to the boat, quietly climbing on in attempt to rescue your sister and the Sully children. Instead when you got close you saw Neteyam, freeing everyone tied up. When he turned and saw you he ran to you instantly.

“(Y/N)!! What the fuck are you doing here it’s not safe!?” He practically screams at you. You wouldn’t take that behavior from him in any way. You pushed him away slightly.

“I was looking for you Neteyam!! Trying to make sure you were safe…shit!!” You hissed back while trying to drag him to your ilu. He was silent as he ripped from your grasp. He looked upset but not mad.

“I’m supposed protect you (Y/N)…” he said with a serious tone, staring daggers in your eyes.

“No!! Let me protect you!!” You yelled motioning for the rest of the kids to follow you. You looked back up at him, a subtle glint in his eye.

“…at least let me protect until this is over Teyam…” you sighed using a nickname for him that you two only briefly discussed. He just nodded as him and the rest of your friends followed you further into the ship.

You and Neteyam started dating only a couple months ago but it’s felt like years. When you met him you had an instant crush on him and even now even though we’re together you still do. Like puppy love…

You standing by a body of water looking for some fish for me to cook later when Neteyam ran out of the bushes towards me.

“Neteyam!! You scared me!!” You teased as he grabbed your waist.

“Sorry yawne I didn’t mean to scare you…” he whispered in my ear.

“…but I have some exciting news!!” He screamed his mood shifting from a soft one to more bubbly one.

“What!!” You giggled at his smile and cheerfulness. He didn’t respond verbally but just grabbed my arm and started pulling me towards HomeTree. You followed behind him genuinely curious on what he was so excited about.

When he finally stopped we were in a group of people and he was pointing at a Na’vi girl in the middle of it.

“There’s a new girl who’s joined our village (Y/N)!” He explains with the same smile on his gorgeous face. You just nodded and watched as he got closer to her.

She was breathtaking, long hair last her waist, pretty eyes, it made me nervous.

You just watched on the sidelines as he interacted with the woman. She was practically melting at everything he said. You could tell she was interested in him I mean it’s Neteyam who wouldn’t be interested in him.

A big knot filled your stomach as you watched them laugh with one another you couldn’t help the jealousy that overcame you. I mean you’ve never seen him this giddy with anyone else other than yourself.

As the days went by you were spending less and less time with Neteyam, you could feel yourself growing apart from him. You had discovered the new Na’vi girl’s name was Ani’va and you had also discovered that her and Neteyam were becoming closer. This thought pained you more than anything. You and Neteyam would only talk when he got home and when you would see each other on hunting trips. It was agonizing, the space between you two. You couldn’t bare it, you wanted him, needed him even but all you could do is watch him from afar. Wishing, hoping he would look at you for more than a minute before shifting back to Ani’va.

A week had gone by since she arrived and you felt you were no longer in Neteyam’s mind like he was in yours. At this point you’d had enough. You’d had enough of the space, the tension, the distance, the silence, you were ending this now…

You looked around for Neteyam for hours. Looked high and low but you finally found him with Ani’va of course. They were fishing together so close you couldn’t even fit a hand between them. You just stood there until Neteyam finally noticed you.

“Oh…hey (Y/N)!” He said with a slight nod. You kept your calm expression as Ani’va turned towards you and gave you a smile.

“Neteyam…may I speak to you for a moment?” No emotion in your tone. From Neteyam’s reaction he could tell something was wrong and immediately excused himself to follow me.

You walked into the forest far enough where Ani’va wouldn’t hear. Then turned towards Neteyam a look of utter desperation on your face.

“(Y/N) what’s wrong? I could tell something’s been off with you for the past week what’s wrong?” He didn’t break eye contact with you for a second as he spoke. You on the other hand were looking for any where to look but his eyes. He lifted your head up to meet his eyes as he continued.

“ I mean it (Y/N) what’s wrong?” He was looking at you softly you were practically melting in his hands. Slowly you started to break down in front of him. Tears running down your cheeks as you started speaking.

“I…I feel like you don’t love me anymore Neteyam…” You were sobbing at this point as he held you.

“What would make you think I ever stopped loving you (Y/N)…” He asked while wiping the tears off your cheeks and pushing hair out of your face.

“I just…you’re always around Ani’va now…you don’t spend time with me anymore. I’m starting to think you want her and not me Neteyam…” You mumbled, you voice getting quieter towards the end of your words. Neteyam was shocked that you felt this way he felt guilty that he made you feel this way.

“Oh yawne…I could never stop loving you. I’m so sorry I made you feel this way…” He was looking down at you with his beautiful eyes.

“My father instructed me to show Ani’va how to do things in the clan…he told me i had be with her always…I am so sorry for explaining that beforehand yawne” He kisses your forehead then you lips as he just held you.

You let out a relieved and content sigh not wanting him to let go of you. You finally knew what was going on, you finally were happy about what was happening. You look up at Neteyam tears still in your eyes as you start to speak.

“nga yawne lu oer Neteyam.” You say a shake on your voice as you look into your mates eyes. He kissed your hand and looks into your eyes.

“nga yawne lu oer (Y/N).” He whispers in your ear as you continue to just hold each other.

notes; this is very rushed but tell me if you guys like this cause it’s gonna me a multiple part story. The characters will be aged up my a year or two for the story 💁🏾‍♀️

𖤍 Love us too 𖤍

Jake Sully had stumbled across (Y/N) when she was only 7 years old. She wasn’t like the other Na’vi children, her skin was a shade of deep blue mixed with violet. The stripes along her body slightly darker than normal. When he brought her to Ney’tiri she immediately sensed this girl was different and convinced Jake to let her stay with them. Practically raised her as their own. (Y/N) was the same age as Lo’ak and Kiri and younger than Neteyam by a year. When Jake had first introduced (Y/N) to his children they were scared of her at first but as the years went by they began to trust her. The Sully brothers took an interest in her not like their sisters. ~ years later ~

The Omatikaya clan was on route to raid and destroy some of the sky people's supplies that were endangering their home somewhere deep in Pandora's forest. When Ney'tiri flew up next to Jake, yelling to the other Na'vis who were following them, Jake was leading the group of them on Banshees up in the air while brandishing a gun. The four of them flew across some of the smaller mountains before arriving at a man-made railway that had a train traveling on it that was painted yellow. Although there were two Aerospatiale SA-2 Samson aircraft flying on either side of the train to provide protection, the Na'vi still attacked.

"Ground team go!" Jake gave orders by pressing on the communication link around his neck as he talked while keeping his eyes on the foe. The train abruptly detonated some train tracks in front of it, causing it to swerve and scrape against the metal, igniting dazzling sparks as the ground group moved forward on their direhorses. The train ended up going off the now-broken tracks, causing it to break apart and flip over, triggering many additional explosions as all the sections were now divided by the explosion, which threw everything out of balance as the aircrafts had flown off course. Jake recognized an opportunity to strike and ordered his Banshee to descend directly onto the tools of the people in the skies. He let out a battle cry before firing his gun at one of the aircraft, causing it to catch fire and crash to the ground. Ney'tiri called out with a yip, pointed her Banshee at the remaining aircraft, prepared her bow and arrow, and then pulled it back to shoot. She yelled, releasing the arrow, which struck the sky guy inside the aircraft and killed him. She flipped the transport over with her Banshee and aimed again before releasing it to hit the pilot of the aircraft. She yipped as the aircraft slammed into the ground. Ney'tiri raised her arms in response to the collective loud yelps of the Na'vi on the direhorses as they cheered the action. All of the Na'vi who were present at this point fell to the ground and began gathering the weapons from the containers that were there. As Jake puts his hand on his communication device to resume speaking, he is standing on some explosion debris "Move along! Two minutes, people!" Three Banshees were hovering and observing the raid close above the scene in the sky.

The first banshee was Neteyam’s, second one Lo’ak’s and the third (Y/N)’s. They watch the raid happen from above as instructed by Jake. “ Guys we should go down there!” Lo’ak stated earning a disapproving look from Neteyam. “No dad told us to spot…” Neteyam paused and looked at (Y/N) and back at Lo’ak.

“…plus we have (Y/N) with us. Dad would skin us!” Neteyam explained. Lo’ak just laughed and looked at (Y/N) cockily. “Come on bro don’t be a wuss!” Lo’ak yipped as he flew down to the action causing (Y/N) to follow. Neteyam let out a sigh of annoyance as he followed as well. The minute they got on the ground Lo’ak called out to them “come on let’s go!”. (Y/N) began to follow causing Neteyam to grab her arm firmly so she wouldn’t end up getting in trouble with his idiotic brother of his. Lo’ak was handed a gun and some ammunition to load it. “ You don’t even know how to use that thing…” Neteyam commented. Lo’ak just clicked in the amo and look at (Y/N) with a proud look. Neteyam saw the act and just rolled his eyes. “Dad taught me!” Lo’ak said with a smirk. (Y/N) just laughed at his antics and then they heard someone yell.

“PULL BACK PULL BACK!!” As they started to move a bomb was dropped cause the all three of them to go flying in different directions. Jake saw this happen and flew down instantly. “It’s okay, you’re okay…” He said to calm Lo’ak down. He then realized he didn’t see (Y/N) or Neteyam. “Where’s your brother and (Y/N)!?” Jake asked shakily as he stared at Lo’ak.

“Over there!!” Lo’ak screamed as he got up and started to run towards them. Neteyam was supporting (Y/N) on one side because her leg was injured. Guilt covered Lo’ak’s face as he helped his brother support her.

~ at the camp ~ Neteyam got off his banshee and carefully pulled you off of yours as well as he saw his father approaching him. Lo’ak was next to him as well, they share a looking knowing they’re gonna get their asses handed to them in a couple seconds. “I let you go to raid and you disobey direct orders!” Jake bellows at the two boys. He glances at you still leaning on your banshee.

“And you put the one person in danger I told you to protect…” Jake continued. “Sir I take full responsibility…” Neteyam started before he gets interrupted by his dad.

“Yeah you should your the older brother you need to start acting like it…” Jake states firmly.

“Make sure she gets fixed up…” Jake orders looking at (Y/N). “…yes sir.” Neteyam obeys taking you to Mo’at for some healing remedies. Lo’ak and Jake are still there. Lo’ak having hundreds of thoughts rushing through his head.

“You could have gotten (Y/N) killed you know that?” Jake questions knowing his son already knows the answer. A guilty look takes over Lo’ak’s face as he realizes the danger he put his best friend in. “Your grounded and no flying for a month…” Jake stated as he began to walk away.

Lo’ak felt terrible for putting the girl he cared so much about in danger. It was still running in his kind the risk he put her in. At that moment he started to realize that he didn’t just care for her he loved her with all his heart. She always was in his mind but he never truly looked at his feelings before. But the one thing Lo’ak didn’t know was the exact same thoughts were running through Neteyam’s head as well…
