personally? i don't actually have any 1b headcanons. like, it's nothing against the 1b kids! their designs are all pretty cool, their personalities as a class seem to mix really well, and i would love for them to have more screentime but i'm just, idk the right way to say it, not as interested in them i guess? not that they don't have interesting storylines or personalities! it's just harder for me to connect with them enough to make headcanons about them. it's probably because of the little screentime they've had and i'm sure once the joint training arc comes up in the anime i'll renew my love for them or something but for now i just never remember enough about them individually to be able to write headcanons for them.
if anybody else has any 1b headcanons they want to send in for me to post though that'd be cool! i think it would be interesting to see if any of y'all have any 1b headcanons!

that's so sad but you're 100% right, honestly bakugou has never really had actual friends. from what we've seen the only "friends" he ever had were those two kids from middle school and even then it didn't seem like he thought of them as anything more than just lackeys (they definitely would've left him at the drop of a pin so he didn't waste his time). he never had a worthy rival though either (no one would stick around long enough or was strong enough to really stand up to him), so bakugou has never really had anyone close to him in any way. walking into UA he probably expected everyone to be the same as they always have, being either extremely annoying towards him or trying to worship the ground he walked on, so when he realized his classmates were Very Much Not Like That he probably went into panic mode. like, "i have to call them by rude nicknames so that they don't like me and also so i don't get attached to them because everyone's just a stepping stone for me to be the greatest hero"
newsflash, that's not what happens and he comes to realize that, shit, these people are here to stay whether he likes it or not. he keeps the nicknames though because he's still scared to form that connection. i don't really have anything else to say on the matter except that this made me sad and thank you for making me think about this :(

pastel goth anon back and also imagine: at some point they change their hero outfits so aoyama has black feathers somewhere on his outfit (probably hanging on some sort of crown/knight helmet looking headpiece) and tokoyami adding black glitter to the edges of his robe

tokoyami and aoyama spend literal days sitting together and redsigning minor parts of their hero costumes to match each other in the subtlest of ways. aoyama gets his red visor-thing redone so that its purple that tapers off into black and on the ends are actual black feathers. tokoyami's robe is suddenly covered in glitter (which he definitely uses as a weapon now, glitter can be the worst inconvenience if used correctly). aoyama gets an honest to god spiked choker (that no one ever sees because his armor covers it up) and tokoyami gets one of those pastel bleeding hearts on his costume shirt (again, no one ever sees it because his robe covers it completely). these two really just clash their aesthetics and it somehow works so much that they integrate it into their hero costumes.
im being 100% honest when i say this is one of my favorite headcanons ever i love this so so much oh my god!

imagine the two of them kinda getting into pastel goth because it's a perfect mix of their styles. so aoyama starts running around with stuff that has glittery skulls on them and tokoyami starts wearing stuff that while still has a lot of black, also has a lot of pastels and shit

can you imagine the anarchy of their classmates seeing them the first time they decide to go pastel goth? absolute chaos. tokoyami now has permanent pastel colors in his dark wardrobe. aoyama has the whole 'pastel skull and crossbones' look down to a science. they get together once a week and discuss exactly how to Up The Dramatics and every week they both master the aesthetic even more. tokoyami lets aoyama borrow his goth themed stuff while aoyama lets tokoyami borrow his glittery stuff. the come up with outfit ideas together. i am thriving this is so good.

i'm not saying tokoyami and aoyama have the potential to be Best Friends but i am absolutely saying tokoyami and aoyama have the potential to be Best Friends like cmon. the sheer dramatics they both go through daily to uphold their personal aesthetics must be exhausting. also the fact that they are on opposite ends of the drama scale just furthers the idea that, given the opportunity, these two could become an unstoppable force.
tokoyami and aoyama hanging out in the common room trading fashion tips and bitching about how difficult it is to upkeep victorian armor. aoyama gifts tokoyami a little glittering nightlight and tokoyami has never once turned it off. he gives aoyama a special jewlery set that is Peak Goth and while it doesn't fit his look he keeps it on display somewhere in his room. at some point they paint each others' nails and everyone does a double take as aoyama walks into class with black nails and tokoyami comes in with glittery purple nails. they are both so dramatic in different ways and would get along so well.
they are best friends and this dynamic has been robbed from us.

toga himiko
its about fucking time, i missed her
- she likes to collect the weirdest things. knives, cool looking leaves, bugs she finds on her walls, jars to keep the bugs in. she decides to start collecting things as soon as she has more than three in her possession at one time. the league has no idea what to think about this.
- occasionally she'll show up to meetings as spinner. spinner has no fucking idea when or how she got his blood, and everyone else is somewhat wary that she has their blood, too, and will not hesitate to use it at any point.
- she goes on walks sometimes (in places not very populated for obvious reasons) and will just take in her surroundings. it's not often she gets time to herself anymore and constantly being around other people exhausts her sometimes so she'll just leave for indeterminate amounts of time.
- himiko's gotten into the habit of trying to stab people as a first greeting. needless to say this is awful and never ends up well
- i like to think she's sort of adopted the league as her family, even if they don't all see her that way. they're her older siblings, except for kurogiri who had a very spicific fatherly aura to him, and occasionally mr. compress, who also has a fatherly aura to him
- she used to have frequent girl hangouts with magne before the stuff with the yakuza happened, so now whenever she does her makeup on her own or tries to have a spa day she'll get super sad because her friend isn't there with her. she also has no idea how to do makeup on her own and will often ask the others if they know. mr. compress refuses to let her know he does.
- now that she has an eyepatch she likes to use it as an excuse to call people by the wrong name or tell people they're ugly like "oh sorry i didn't realize who you were or what you looked like because you were on my bad side :/" and she's the only one who gets a kick out of it
- her favorite thing to do used to be stealing the hand on shigaraki's face. he would throw a hissy fit and she found it funny. now, though, it's annoying the shit out of hawks because, since he's on their side, he won't arrest her, and since he wants to be seen as trustworthy he won't attack her. he's the perfect target to bother all day every day. twice often joins in because he genuinely thinks they're just trying to befriend the guy
- also himiko and twice are best friends this is non-negotiable
- her nails are perfectly manicured to be goddamned knives like those things can and will cut you to shreds given the chance
- her hair is always put up into messy buns because she never learned how to do any other hairstyle other than a basic ponytail or pigtails. she doesn't even know how to make them clean or nice buns she just throws them up every day and hopes they look fine
- himiko really loves red meat but, before the whole liberation front thing came around, the league didn't have nearly enough money for that so she stuck to eating whatever they could get their hands on, which was more likely then not super cheap sushi that will definitely make you sick
- contrary to popular belief, she actually is low-key in love with midoriya and uraraka, she just has the absolute worst way of showing and expressing it. she sees expressing love in a weird way and twists it to attune to her quirk and what can be assumed of her past. she really does like the people around her, and she really does have crushes on midoriya and uraraka, but it's just expressed differently, causing many to write it off as an odd obsession
- she does not own a toothbrush. this nasty bitch(/j) does not brush her teeth. her sharp teeth instantly tear up any toothbrush she tries to use and the league just didn't have the expenses to pay for it, and she was not about to use a toothbrush from a dumpster or something. gross.
- she doesn't quite know how to hate someone. this ties in to her skewed sense of love, as she just loves and loves and loves that at some point she forgot how to hate. sure, she dislikes people, or sometimes she dislikes their actions, but she can never bring herself to hate someone. she's doesn't know how. this becomes a problem considering she's literally 17 and also affiliated with villains which means she's around so many horrible people all the time
- HER FANGS ARE LIKE STRAWS SEND TWEET
- she has no academic knowledge past, like, maybe middle school. she knows basic math but she could not for the life of her tell you anything about algebra. she could go on for hours about knives and the different kinds and their variety of uses but ask her anything about science and she Will Not be able to tell you. she doesn't know anything about anything and she's proud to be a dumbass.
- her favorite animals are birds (especially tiny orb-like ones, you know the ones)
- she's the only one in the league that has a phone that isn't a burner. she is very active on social media and has the best time prank calling people. shigaraki once got on her case about it, because it's much easier to track her phone, but she brushed him off completely. she also has a bunch of cute little charms attatched to her phone
- also no one knows how she got the phone because they're all broke as fuck and she flat out refuses to tell
- before she joined the league, she would go around steal blood from random people with no pattern and just walk around as their double for a day
- also, before she became a wanted criminal, she liked to go to crowded meet ups like cons and stuff and just make friends because, guys, she's literally like, 17. she never kept any of her friends though, for obvious reasons :(
- occasionally, she will find shigaraki and spinner playing video games together and obsolutely crashes the party. she's crazy good at mario kart but sucks at almost every other game that's ever existed, even other racecart games
- i love her and although we just had a villain arc in the manga i miss her :( horikoshi give me my girl back where is she

hawks
he deserves the entire goddamned world
- he has amazing eyesight. he can see, like, 4-5 times better than the average person and, while that's awesome for hero work, he also uses it for dumb bets and such. he'll be hanging with rumi or someone and go "i bet i can tell you exactly what that guy two blocks down is drinking" and if they don't know him that well they'll 100% take the bet and suddenly they're out 30 dollars because, low and behold, he guessed it perfectly
- he has a nasty habit of leaving the lights on before he leaves his house, and then forgetting he left the lights on. since he comes home so late at night almost every night he gets the insane thought process of "oh shit who broke into my house is it a big time villain or some small time burglar who picked the wrong place to rob" and 99% of the time it's just him forgetting to turn off the lights
- he's best friends with rumi (miruko) and let me tell you, on their own they're both super smart, absolute intelligent beings. together they share half a braincell and it doesn't even work right. the locals in their area have a radar for when both hawks and miruko are off work at the same time and know not to be in that part of town because there WILL be screaming, whether it be a civilian or one of the fools themselves
- he molts like a real bird and absolutely refuses to clean it all up. he lives under a mass of feathers at his place. he eats feathers for breakfast. he hasn't been able to find an article of clothing untouched of feathers in years. it takes 0.2 seconds upon walking into his home to be covered in the stuff. rumi constantly get on his ass about it and to retaliate he sends her letters packed with his dead feathers
- he likes to feed stray animals in his neighborhood and at first it's fine, until one day there are like ten animals, all different species, cooperating with each other to break down his window to find his food stash. he now will fly all the way from wherever he is at 11:30 sharp every day to feed the strays around his house just so they don't destroy everything
- just to be sure everyone knows he's the epitome of perfection (/j), hawks regularly donates money to charity organizations and works volunteer hours with homeless and orphaned people, as well as animals shelters and anyone/thing in need. if you sign up for local volunteer work you have a 95% chance of seeing hawks there too, wearing casual clothes and working as a regular volunteer, not a "Hero."
- he has this one festive christmas sweater someone at his agency got him some years ago that he will wear every year around christmas, without fail, and just flaunt it off. he hates it. everyone else hates it. he Will Not Stop.
- he has this little plush bear from when he was a little kid that he has still sitting in his room somewhere. it's from before he was taken by the hero comission, and he has little memories before then of anything but the plush bear, so it's kinda important to him. rumi teases him relentlessly about it everytime she sees it. hawks always laughs it off but the bear does really mean a lot to him.
- his nails are super long and super sharp, almost like talons. he constantly forgets that they are and can be aggressive with his hand movements until he cuts himself on accident and suddenly he's covered in scratches because he was telling a particularly exciting story and talked a lot with his arms and hands flying (also don't tell anyone but he often picks up random objects like those manicure instagram artists do, all flashy and over-the-top, on purpose, just to show off his nails to the people around him)
- he has an odd obsession with emo music but nobody knows because he never sings it out loud, he never tells anyone, he never listens to it out loud or with people around. he knows every lyric to every iconic emo song ever and listens to iconic emo bands while he's just flying around without purpose because it's calms him down for some reason. also that music slaps
- he has a laptop and an official email but will not use it because 1) the laptop is broken and 2) his email is mostly things from the comission and he loves ignoring them. he gives everyone he cares about his personal number anyway so he really has no use for the email. he just likes to tell the comission he checks his email on his comission-issued laptop so he sounds professional when the truth is he broke it within three days of owning it and has been living this lie ever since
- he's super good at sewing because of the amount of times he's had to pretend he didn't get hit during a fight but his costume has been ripped anyway. he's gotten so good that even if you look really close it's still hard to tell that's it's not the original seam
- those markings around his eyes? those are just his bird markings because i have to make sure this boy has Maximum Bird Qualities
- he likes shiny things. he doesn't collect them because that'd be too much money wasted (not that money is a problem for the #2 hero) but like also. he refuses to indulge in his dumb Bird Impulses. everytime he passes a shop window and gets stuck on something shiny he has to remind himself "no, i've evolved past this, i am not buying a crystal because it glows in the light that's stupid." he still loses and buys himself The Shiny Thing every once in a while so his house has a few shint things littered about
- his feathers puff up when he gets upset because Bird
- sometimes hawks will go up to random heroes at the comission and show them dumb pictures of himself doing things no one would normally think the Pro Hero Hawks would do and completely deny ever doing those things if anyone else asks. he loves watching the heroes trying to convince their friends that "dude hawks showed me a picture of him hanging upside down from his ceiling and told me that he sleeps like that????" and their friends completely ignoring them
- he's gotten so accustomed to being kind scetchy and secretive with the league that sometimes he'll forget that he's supposed to be chill around his friends and get super defensive if they ask him questions. like he and rumi will be hanging out and rumi will ask something like "hey where'd you get that little dog statue? (another shiny thing he picked up)" and he'll get defensive like "bitch why do you wanna know? why does it matter to you?? back off" and rumi'll just get so confused
- he answers every single piece of fanmail he can. he gets piles and piles of them every day and sections off an hour or two every day to read and write personalized letters to all his fans. he also hangs up all the fanart he gets in his room so he can remind himself that what he's doing is worth it and so many people need him to succeed. sometimes he gets behind and when he gets overwhelmed he'll ask for a saturday off to just do fanmail because it means that much to him. it also motivates him to care more about his job and think of it less as a hiderance and more as an actually important thing he's doing, saving the world and stuff

shouji has gotten into the habit of going around the dorm just before lights out and cleaning everything up as a sort of destresser. he'll walk around and shift furniture back into the right position, or pick up stray candy wrappers left behind, wipe up the sticky remains of a spill on a counter, turn off the dvd player. the little things that no one remembers to do, and no one notices except for maybe aoyama, who is overly perceptive. he quietly leaves a small cheese platter for shouji to snack on as he picks up.
