I feel like the reason they made Solas look like Handsome squidward and Saitama had a fantasy themed lovechild is because they knew the dread wolf would be too powerful if he was hot.

Part one of describing the last thing I did in a videogame in the worst way possible!
Repetitively killed a single mother and her six kids because some bitch ate my jewelry and won't give it back without a payment of 15000 dollars.

Once again in an emotional slump, here's how team tadpole would try to comfort you after a fight!
Karlach- Doesn't matter who was right or wrong, she still cares about you and wants to make things right, so long as you care enough to do the same. She'd probably bring you hot chocolate or some sort of comforting sweet food, and hold you for a while; adding words of affirmation and trying to make sure you know she didn't mean to hurt you.
Wyll- Wyll would bring you flowers, and take you on a long walk to discuss the fight afterwards. He'd likely take some time to give a good and genuine apology, while also calmly explaining why he was upset or why he said the things that he did. Afterwards, he would probably come up with a way to compromise or make sure arguments like that don't happen in the future, and softly kiss your hands.
Astarion- After a long period of time spent pouting and being passive-aggressive, Astarion might finally realize that he's actually hurt your feelings. Which is something he didn't realize he was quite important enough to do. He doesn't like to apologize, and he'll probably be a bit awkward about it.. But he will. He'll approach by attempting to make you laugh with one of his sassy comments about things and slowly make that awkward apology. If he tries explaining why he was angry or discusses the argument further, I think he actually might cry. You both end up apologizing and making joking snarky comments to each other, probably sharing a snack (Aka, he kisses your arm a bunch before drinking from your wrist, and you get a health potion and chocolate chip cookies for giving blood) and cuddling.
Gale- Gale is the first to apologize. Maybe he was in the wrong, maybe you were, it doesn't matter. There was a fight. And while he will explain why he was upset, and why he said the things he said, he's still going to dote on you afterwards. He feels bad that an argument even had to happen in the first place, and he isn't about to let you stew in your emotions about it. He'll make you a nice meal, Apologize far more than necessary, and then pout about it later.
Shadowheart- One does not simply ask Shars favorite princess to apologize. And she probably won't apologize for a while yet.. She will approach you, and bring you somewhere dark and secluded to simply enjoy each other's company. She may give you a hug, or some words of affirmation.. You will have to start the conversation about the fight, and explain why you were upset; but she will apologize once she realizes your thought process on the matter.
Lae'zel- Lae'zel does not apologize. Ever. She isn't exactly a bitch about it or anything, but she also doesn't understand how she upset you or why you had such an emotional reaction. You're going to have to break it down and explain it to her bit by bit in a calm and comprehensive manner, and then she may show some signs of remorse. She still won't apologize, but there may be an anonymous gift left at the foot of your bedroll when you wake.

One of my favorite things is my dalish* Warden going on their grand quest hating and being wary of humans, only to immediately be met with some of the most kind people they've ever met and feeling immediately confused.
My Warden has a slightly complicated backstory with humans (I've augmented the cannon backstory to fit my angst-hungry needs), and I love the internal conflict of "I don't trust you, but you're being so nice to me. What do you mean I'm not being called knife ear or flat ear? You asked how to politely address me because you didn't want to be rude???"
Like just complete befuddlement paired with the feeling of guilt and feeling like shit because even the few kind human men above many of the rest died shortly after being referred to as Shems, which isn't inherently a slur but it does feel like one.
Hero of fereldon may not have expected the battle at ostagar to go well, but they didn't expect literally EVERYONE to die, either. So knowing that King Cailan and Duncan both died good and inclusive men who had shown them nothing but kindness, only to have the dalish Warden essentially bite their thumb at it? Chefs kiss, my friends.

I enjoy virtual pet games, and here's a few animals I wish got more attention.
1. Tarantulas. I want a cute virtual pet game where I just set up a cute little enclosure and pet fuzzy tarantulas and their little hoof-like feet.
2. Cows. Cows are underrated.
3. Snakes! I own snakes, they're precious babies and they need more love.
4. Hamsters. I love the chubby, hammy little fuckers.
5. Frogs. I just need dozens of frogs.
6. Axolotls. Axolochi is cute, but I need something more, man.
7. Chubby ass birds. I just need cute, round, chonky birds in my life.
8. Rats. Not mice, rats. I love rats. I'd love to get one of those giant rats as a pet and take it with me everywhere.
Thank you for listening to my bullshit.
On top of this, I want more games to have goth or fantasy aesthetic options. Miss me with that beige mom, girlypop, sleek and modern shit. (I am not lumping all of these aesthetics into one, I simply hate all of them. Like what you like, I'm happy for you, but they aren't for me lol)

Do you really like playing antagonistic characters in games, or do you just want to feel like the people in your life would still love you if you made bad decisions and spoke your mind?
You romancing Astarion? Did you cry at the end of Dragon age origins? How's your dark urge playthrough going?

I feel like act 2 of bg3 is vastly underrated. It's lag hell for me and takes me hours just to walk through a small section, but oh my gods.
I like horror. I like gore. I feel like they could've made it even creepier, but I really admire what they did do with act 2. It was genuinely just a very pleasant surprise, especially as someone who only plays dark urge. I like seeing the parallels. You go from this (somewhat) peaceful, nice spot in the game to nightmare world, and it's just the best. They've got everything! Shadow people, a cult, magic shadow undead, a creepy child that wants to hurt you, some emo kid hopped up on "justice", hot zombie nurses, a creepy doctor, a beautiful graveyard, etc. They go all out. I love it so much.

Guys, help me decide on a name for my Dalish Warden. I suck at names, so I've always just named them after myself when I play the game, but I want to post lore dumps and fragmented fanfics, so I need an actual name.
My current ideas (though I am cripplingly open to suggestions):
• Rowen, like the Rowen Grove codex you find in the beginning, if you start as a Dalish
• Enfanim, A dalish word meaning "To fear"
• Adahlnan, an amalgamation of the dalish words for "Tree", and "Vengeance", also in reference to the story behind the Rowen grove.

Hello and welcome to the third segment of what I believe random herbs and objects in the Dragon age universe taste like! Feel free to leave suggestions and comments.
The Wilds Flower - Somwhat soft and sweet. The petals probably have very little flavor, but the center would taste like purple clover necter. It smells floral and delicate, common picking for a stroll in the forest. However, it's much better suited for tinctures and tonics, and is one of the safer options when treating pets, like Mabari. Too much consumption could probably lead to numbness of the tongue and throat, and is often given to sick children to help with oral pains of loose teeth or raw and scratchy throat from being ill.
Mabari crunch - Much like a tea biscuit, but far more dense and crumbly. Probably salty and savory as well, mixed with animal fat and various spices to cut the taste of the elf root and deep mushroom the dog treats are made with. A rather strong taste for most people, but your barkspawn will certainly enjoy it. Fresh breath and a shiny coat are almost a given if you consume one of these.
Andraste's Grace - Bitter and floral. You won't taste any sweetness from these little blossoms, despite their enchanting aroma. They're probably slightly toxic, and taste like when you dry swallow pills and chase it with unsweetened tea. OR they might be edible, like daylilies, and have a more muted sweetness to mingle with the bitterness, they'd likely be served battered and fried like dandelion heads or Daylily blossoms.

What got you into dragon age? Tell me about your Hero of Fereldon. I want to hear about your grey warden. I know they all have "set backstories", but I personally like to add small details and add a little spice.
Tell me about their personality. Who did you romance? Or did you make like an OC to be perfect for them? Is there drama? Tell me the drama, I want to hear it. Nobody I know plays Dragon Age, and nobody wants to hear my rants.
Personally, I always play a Dalish elf. Because I'm native, it just kinda feels right for me. Like I can relate to the elves a lot. Even like, the city elves are essentially just put on reservations. I want to try a Dwarven playthrough, but it's really really hard for me to stray from routine. I've been a Dalish rogue main since I was 7, and Dragon age was the first game I was allowed to pick from the family video myself.
I know I usually post bg3 stuff, but the realms of Thedas are and always will be my first love, I can't break from my roots.

Hello and welcome to another segment of detailed descriptions of what I think items in the Dragon Age universe would taste like! Feel free to leave requests and suggestions.
Deathroot;
Poisonous, yes. But in theory, you *could* taste it before your jouney ends, and you have to reload your last save. I like to think it tastes almost like ginger and beets had a baby. Sweet, spicy, earthy, and sort of bitter. In theory, delicious, but the spice and tingle would be a very dead giveaway. I feel like no matter how diluted the poison was, it would just be too strong of a flavor. Sort of like wasabi.
Darkspawn blood;
Thick, black, bitter liquid. Unmistakably metallic, like all blood. But much, much richer and more heinous. I think it probably has a very distinctive scent of coagulation, and has the consistency of tree sap or thick Maple syrup. Glossy, smooth, and viscous. I think there would almost be an aftertaste of a sickeningly sweet flavor that sticks in the back of your throat, uncomfortably. Like aniseed or throat spray.
*Red* lyrium powder;
Much like the blue lyrium powder, I still have the immense desire to try and eat it; but unlike templars, I don't snort any sparkly powder line I'm given. I feel like it would still have a very intense mineral taste, but it would also have a weirdly addicting sweetness and fizz of electricity. It may also have a slightly metallic and bloody aftertaste.

Hello and welcome to my detailed descriptions of what I assume things in the Dragon Age universe taste like! Part one of probably many, and feel free to comment requests of even the most unhinged items. I have an oral fixation and chewing problem, so chances are that I would find out anyway if I were living in Thedas.
I'll start out with the basics!
Elfroot;
Herby and slightly bitter. There would be a sort of richness and iron-y taste, similar to that of spinach, but likely much softer. I'd also wager that there's a slightly minty tingle or freshness as well.- When brewed into a tea, health potion, or tincture, it would likely deepen the bitter taste and bring out the tingling. Like angry, unsweetened mint tea and spinach water.
Deep Mushroom;
Probably a bit like woodear mushrooms or Morels. Earthy, fluffy, and ever so slightly mineral enriched. Some might complain that it tastes like dirt, but that's probably because they aren't washing their foragables well enough. Still, there's a slightly musty taste to it, for lack of a better word; but velvet certainly comes to mind when eating it. Regardless, you're sure to get a burst of energy after eating.
*Blue* Lyrium powder;
I wanna eat this shit so bad, I wish I was kidding. It's a very fine, sparkly blue powder that looks ever so slightly crunchy. What's not to love? I would attempt to eat a fistful of this and probably die. Regardless, I feel like it would taste sort of.. Lightning-y. Like a rich mineral, for sure. But also sort of like sparkling water or TV static. It would feel warm and fuzzy in the mouth, like when you're trying to plug your charger into an outlet in a dark room and accidentally shock the shit out of yourself because you can't see what you're doing. I feel like lyrium potions would taste very similar, but diluted and maybe slightly sweet.

I feel like Zuko gets homesick after becoming firelord. Of course, he was always destined to be the heir to the throne. While in exile, he wanted nothing more than to go back home and regain his honor and his country.
But he never felt so loved there as he did when traveling with his Uncle, or the Gaang. For the first time in his life, he knew who he was and didn't feel guilty for just existing. In a way, the palace was never really a home to him. And even with a thousand servants, enough esteem and honor to fill him with pride, and work to fill him with purpose; there was nothing that could truly compare to setting camp with his friends and listening to the idle sounds of the fire burning to ashes while his friends slept safely in their tents.
It was annoying at first, hearing Sokka snore, or Tophs weird sleep talking, or even how Aang can't stay still in his sleep to save his life. But over time, it became a comfort, hearing them all while he fell asleep at night.
It's too quiet in the palace.. He doesn't see his uncle as much, and he misses the tea shop. He misses not being a 16 year old ruler who can barely manage his own trauma, let alone an entire nation. He has heart, and he pours the entirety of it into his country, and the Fire Nation prospers. There is peace for the first time in over 100 years. But how long until he learns to be truly happy? Will he ever?
And for the most part, he can ignore it. Because, of course he can. But sometimes, his friends need him. Sometimes, he can visit his uncle.. And see his best friend again. And what happens when he's back in that bedroll for the first time since becoming the esteemed Firelord Zuko, and it's the first time he's felt safe in only the spirits know how long?
