Watching Kurt fight is so much fun.

And this isn’t just an art thing, Davis’ art is definitely part of it, but more than that it’s his personality. I usually mentally skip over the actual fight part of superhero fights, the setup and payoff is entertaining but the fight itself is just kind of back and forth punching/beams. But Nightcrawler’s fights are always a lot of fun, it’s not just a knock-down dragemout there’s a dance and a rhythm that makes it fun to follow. Much like the swashbuckler movies that inspired it.
