Playing Russian roulette with Arare where the options are that of a crunchy salty ally of goodness, and the other is a sugary soft shelled traitor.
They both look the same.

I’m SCREAMING, I’m clawing at the FUCKING WALLS.
WHY? God damn it WHY? Why must my otp’s be dark tone/sassy person makes a light tone/controlling person’s life better by breaking their toxic ideology built upon by a system that doesn’t truly care for them and for both of them to become better people for each other. ONLY for one of them to go where the other cannot follow at the end of the season finale. God DAMN IT.
My heart is in shambles and I want another season goddamn it.

Hey ya’ll can we talk about Miles and the number 42? Because atsv really made me think DEEP about this number and it’s connection even outside of Spiderverse media. Like, it was the number drawn in the lotto that allowed him to go to Visions in the comics, alongside his social media account in the 2020 video game just being BKLYNSpider42, to name a few.
And the spiderverse team just saw this and RAN WITH IT! In the best way possible! The numbers on that fall off the building that Miles falls off on in the first sp movie move into a 42 position. The spider in which some of us might’ve been at first oh haha funny had the 42 sybol on its butt, but NOW WE KNOW BETTER, because atsv just punted Miles into dimension 42 with his alter self that never became spiderman, and I am SCREAMING.
I even remember reading that the reason why 42 was even chosen was because it was the Jersey number of Jackie Robinson.
Am I the only one realizing how interconnected this man is with the number 42? No? Just me? Maybe this shit is common knowledge and I’m outing myself as like a fake fan. But WOW, I mean I had the pieces but the picture I’m finally making is just wow.

Ok I have taken to saying “Common Provolone” while playing video games with my friends and trying to pull things in clutch.
The issue is that the word “Provolone” has all the nasty pronunciations that my second language self can’t pronounce well. The V and the L are the worst. And just saying “Prov” is two to three tongue ties.
But it’s a HABIT. And I have only Dimension 20 to blame.
Curse you Ravaging War! Curse you!

Wow. Explaining “The Unsleeping City” to people really makes it sound like a drug trip. Like: oh a rat ate an everything bagel and saw EVERYTHING he is the messiah, he is buddha, he is the RAT KING—
… and tiny little rats and cockroaches make a tiny little monastery for him in a hotdog cart :)
Like. I thought explaining Fantasy High was eye opening to the weirdness but NOPE.

Something that I’ll forever love my mother for is allowing me the freedom to explore my artistic creativity.
She helped me clean out the attic for a mock workspace that soon turned permanent, she offers small (and large) knick knacks that she thinks might be useful for my dioramas. She even offered her orbital sander in the basement from her woodworking days.
At fifteen I passively said I wanted to try carpeting and she bought me a beginners tools and a book on how to carve wooden animal figurines. Saying that we’ll learn together.
She’s taught me everything I know about costume making from patterning, to stitches, to what fabrics are best for what things. And actually listens to me ramble about new techniques I learn from blog posts and videos.
She hands me my fathers old shirts at smocks when I randomly start on a canvas. She taught me the difference between oil and acrylics. Which paints I can get messy with and which ones if I get on my clothes I’ll feel her wrath.
I love my mother for so many reasons, but this is one of the things that I think I’ll be treasuring for the rest of my life. All I have to say is: thanks mom. You’ve inspired, listened to, and taught me throughout my life and nurtured my love for art. Never confining me to a certain medium nor denying art from me outright.
Love ya mom :)

When you subconsciously sign little things when panicked because you learned it to communicate when you go mute, but now the person you’re conversing with is confused because saying share in jsl while gushing about spider-man is pretty odd.

Fuck me… I was in the rest room during my break and then someone came in and they hello, they sounded like one of my friends so I said Hi back. They were not my friend, AND they were on the phone, oh my god, it was horrible, they left and I just sat there for a few minutes contemplating my existence before having to get out. I really REALLY hope that I don’t see said person again because if I do—
Oh god…

You know when you talk about some of your story ideas with a friend and then suddenly they ask why almost everything is asexual, only to realize yeah, wow, a lot of my stories’ peoples surround asexuality, whether it be a culture of witches that receive their newborns as a gift from their magic, to eldritch gods that adopt certain humans and make them into demigods, Human-like beings that pull ribbons out of their chests to mold them into children.
Like a lot of my fantasy bullshit is based around asexual children acquisition. I don’t know if this is an unsexual awakening or that I just prefer asexual means of child acquisition in my stories.
I really don’t know.

Cooking at grandmas is a test of will and creativity as the butter’s three years old, there’s no other cooking utensils outside of a fork, knife, spoon, and spatula. The utensils that are electric are decades old and are smoking when used. And the water is being boiled by balancing the kettle on top of the uneven heater.
Only the quick witted can leave unscathed and with good food.

Hey do you know what upsets me?
That Bodhi Rook is an underrated character in the star wars franchise. Like all the other Rogue One Crew gets additional content, like Cassian gets his own tv show. But the man who made it all possible? The dude who all we know is that he’s 25, Jedhan, was a cargo pilot, grew up with his mother and took up gambling while in the Empire. And though that’s at least better than some, compared to what the rest of his team gets its just sad.
And aside from the franchise barely recognizing him I feel like the fandom doesn’t either. Like for fanfics and fan art it’s a literal effort to find anything where Bodhi is the main focus and not a secondary character. My man doesn’t deserve that. I personally have like a small coin pouch full of ao3 fics on Bodhi but compared to the amount of Cassian, Jyn, Baze, and Chirrut fanfics it doesn’t seem to matter.
Maybe it’s because he doesn’t have a “key” relationship in the movie like Jyn/Cassian or Baze/Chirrut, but to me that makes him even more interesting. The outlier, the pilot, the only one of the Rouge One crew who dies alone, doing whatever he can to help. The one who unintentionally(but helpfully) got the rebellion’s attention on the death star files. Who got one of the most horrifying scenes in the movie(in my opinion) with the bor gullet, and kept on moving.
Bodhi Rook is amazing and I wish more people can see that.

THIS!! PEOPLE NEED TO READ THIS AND BE IN AWE
Please I’m begging you it’s only three consecutive one shots but they’re so good for de-serumed Steve fics. No ships. Just sassy, artist, non Captain America Steve that is written so WELL.
Here’s the burb for the series:
Steve Rogers survived the Valkyrie, but the serum had to work overtime to keep him alive in the ice. Captain America never made it out.
And it’s just de-serumed Steve going through the motions and tearing down the Captain America “perfect boy”illusion.
They’re just fun short reads, since first two are less than 2,000 words, and they’ve both sent me! The author probably won’t continue the third one and that’s a bit upsetting. But PLEASE READ IT. It’s a treasure, and I just think people should read it.
