Bruce loves his kids, even when they eat all his food , crash his cars, sneak metahumans into his city, hell they make out with random redheads in his Batmobile and he still loves them.
But his house is literally on fire and he is struggling to remember why he got children like there must be a way to return them he's begging any god for help at this point.
His wonderful children standing in front of him yelling screaming and fighting while his couch is on fire and for just one second he wishes he could go back in time and decide nope celibacy and no circus.
He's tired he's a vigilante he has twenty kids Alfred is on vacation and maybe this is why he opens his mouth. Which he would later realize was a mistake and utters these words.

I'm really fucking sick of not being able to have emotions. Every single time I get angry for a good reason it's all "chill out" and "you're overreacting" and "be patient" and "you don't have the right to get angry whenever you want" but you know what happens when my brother gets angry? "Are you okay?" "What's wrong?" "It's alright to have emotions." But even though (or maybe because) I'M the one who keeps her anger bottled up every single day, I'M the one who's calm and serene and nice to everyone, I'M mature and always, always polite, it's ME who gets blamed for having any fucking emotions. Me who's attacked for getting mad. Me who's forced to keep everything locked away until it just disappears.
And another thing; people don't get it. They think they're helping me, would you believe that? They think they're actually making my life better- scratch that. They think they're making ME better by "teaching" me to be agreeable and kind. But they *cough* men *cough* will never understand what it's like to live without being allowed to show emotion. They'll never know what it's like to be treated so unfairly and unable to say anything about it, because if you do you're ignored or told you're a problem.
I'm always angry. Every single fucking day, I'm shoved down and hidden by almost everyone around me. Someday it'll be too goddamn much, and when that day comes you fuckers better be ready.
