I don't think I shared this. For my GFs 2 year anniversary (I think) I made a mozaic of medusa for her. The frame is copper covered plaster, the image itself is agate, howlite, tanzenite, sea shell, and two fire opals in the eyes. Medusa, prior to the myth that's common place today, was a protection symbol often put into mozaics, pottery, and many other decorative items.

Meku Sapka
Protector aasimar college of spirits bard.
Her father was an exorcist, and her mother was a fortune teller. Meku inherited a bit of both. One day, a fortune said she'd help stop an undead menace, so she left to go find that party. She's had a grand adventure with them, but it's not over yet.
She has to be one of my fav dnd characters. She's so cute and goofy it's a delight playing her. She likes singing songs, talking to ghosts, and collecting jewelry. Purples her favorite color and bats are her favorite animals.

I love Silica and Vandric's rivalry!
Vandric is a storm born (homebrew race) who's family is from the abyss. Silica is an earth genasi from the Mtisorix. Silica's kingdom invaded the Abyss in order to secure a magic crystal that grows there. This put Vandric and Silica on opposite sides if the war. Both being children in the war (from 17 to 19, they are both the same age) they were used as propaganda symbols of the conflict. Now, almost a decade later after the war first started, the two are mixed up trying to take down the BBEG. Both are also in love with the same woman. I normally hate love triangles in media but in dnd it's super fun.

Nex Benedict
A 16 year old Owasso student who died after being beaten in the head by three other students. They were nonbinary and a citizen of the Choctaw nation. They lived in the Cherokee reservation of Oklahoma. They had complained of bullying about their identity prior to being assaulted. Police are claiming their death was unrelated to the assault they experienced just a day prior.
Nex enjoyed nature, minecraft, drawing, and reading. They had a cat named Zeus.
I grew up near this region. I have identified as nonbinary since freshman year of high school. I'm a citizen of the Muskogee tribe. I was bullied in high school. My sister is much the same as me in most of this. I hate to think either of us could have been this poor child. They didn't deserve this. I can say from first-hand experience that the handling of bullying in Oklahoma schools is pretty much non-existent. This situation makes me so incredibly sad. This did not need to happen.
I hope Nex rests peacefully. Hopefully, something good can come from this tragedy. Hopefully, we will see change.

Yaun is a drow druid, the wife of the divine hunter Renir, and founder of the Taur Cult.
She believed in worshipping evolution, survival of the fittest, but also the cooperation required for survival. She believed reckless giving of yourself in service to others was proof of just how capable of a survivor you are. Offers of the flesh, like cutting off fingers or cutting off long ears, where proof of dedication to survival. She helped anyone in need because every success proved she was a product of evolution's success.

Silica is insanely in love with Adore but has a crippling fear of her own emotions. To her strict training, not being able to control emotional compulsions is a sign of failure and that scares Silica. Adore is the grandest example of Silica being unable to control her emotions.

I saw someone talk about Native American character design and it made me think of Watkulgee. She was a racoon shifter warlock/barbarian. Her warlock patron was a water serpent of the river her village was next to. She was a chef and the running joke was that she washed absolutely everything because racoon. She had racoon hands and used the ball club from her late husband. Her dress was inspired by Muscogee ribbon dresses although really they should go up to the neck, I just think off the shoulder is pretty. The name comes from the Mvskoke work "Wotkvlke" which means "people of racoon".
The all black get up was a joke about yee oldy cat suits since they needed to rob a museum.
