This is my second year preparing for the event while also helping to prepare my students for their table and it is definitely one of my busiest weeks of the year, but very rewarding. I feel very lucky to have this job and to be doing and sharing what I love. Also somebody spilled some green slime in front of our tables and I put out one of our chairs by it so nobody would slip. Yesterday was my birthday and I spent it in my role of “Master of Horror” selling my wares at @daysofthedeadhorrorcon in Las Vegas! Got to meet many horror icons including Heather Langenkamp @langenkamph , @choptopmoseley who I drew as his character as he appears at the end of Silent Night Deadly Night 3 (wanted to go for a deep cut) and although I did not win the Face of Horror competition I campaigned for in the fall (one prize of which was a photoshoot with Kane Hodder), I still got a picture with @kanehodderkills (although this one won’t be published in @ruemorguemag unless..?). They were all unbelievably nice! Very fun weekend, hope to do more horror conventions along with comics, zine and art book fairs in the future. Warner Brothers @warnerbrostv @warnerbrosentertainment @warnerbrosanimation is in shambles. deleting hundreds of ‘Tunes and entire completed films such as Batgirl the movie , it was obvious they needed help. That is where I came in to reveal the hidden pot of gold sitting right under their very nose. I had discovered Banks would be a terrific Fudd from the @breakingbad @bettercallsaulamc BBad/BCS universe on @amc_tv , so I revealed my dark, serious vision that will take the Tunes into our uncertain present and terrible future. @massmice was amazing! One could have called The Green Room (where there was coffee and snacks for the exhibitors) The Green Monster, based on the size, well, amount.. in terms of how many snacks and such there were inside of there, a lot of snacks, including packs of cheese from official cheese sponsor @cabotcheese I don’t know if I’ve done a comics show with a cheese sponsor before personally and that was awesome to see/eat. (I wouldn’t call it The Green Monster, but somebody could.. i don’t know. Kind of reaching for a local reference. Not worth it nevermind).
