I’ve just hit 500 followers after spending quite a few years here on tumblr :D
Throughout these years I’ve noticed that:
-It’s not the best platform to grow an audience for art, but a good one to share with a few people who enjoy one’s work
-It kept me motivated to practice and improve
-It’s a good place to keep your art to see progress, post it for yourself if not for someone else
-Having a small audience might be discouraging, so it’s good to try different social media, but keep posting in one place regularly to improve! And show your art to friends, they also notice your progress and can be really helpful :D
So here are some of my favourite drawings from this year, some of them are doodles, some took longer but all of them were done for fun and posted to share with the few people that care and to mark my progress ^^
