wanted to draw some sanjis in dunmeshi style... i think he'd most likely be an elf or halfling if he wasn't a human, but ryoko kui doesn't draw them with any facial hair so it's weird to see him smooth!!

ayyyyy resident animator catboy back at it again with a starbaby promo!
we're in the final stretch (last 8 weeks) of the project, and we're going all in on keys and inbetweens (mainly inbetweens haha), if you've ever been interested in being on an animated project but haven't had the opportunity, doing inbetweens is a really low stress way to get into it and learn the ropes!!

hey while i'm on the "post about artist collectives" train, might as well talk about my indie animation studio -3-
looking for interested folks for DHJ! there's no skill requirement, and while you don't get paid, you do get to work on all parts of the animation pipeline in a semi-professional environment :o) and if you've always wanted to learn animation, i teach people!
our current short is about a baby star's adventure through space, called starbaby! we're in the boarding process rn <3
currently rlly looking for people who would be really motivated to work on this as an ongoing thing, shoot me a message if you're interested <3 work is limited to a cut per week, so max drawings you'd be doing would be 10-ish (and only lines OR color, not both).

20: what do you think youve improved on the most over the past year
honestly i think my compositions have gotten a lot stronger ! ! i sort of embarked on a journey of turning my rawer drawings into more finished pieces and although i have a habit of re-using the same sorts of compositions (cough horizontal ass pieces cough) i think overall they've gotten really clean and interesting :o) that and i think i'm better at anatomy and form now too .... i love sinking my teef into humans teehee

5: favorite little detail in a drawing you did
ohhh so hard to choose honestly... one of my fav pieces i didn't post on here is called solar consciousness and i really love the open hand i did for it!! honestly i love putting so much detail in every piece i do though, so that's just one of my top ones :o)
21: what do you want to work on the most next
humm i just want to draw more tee bee ech... i really wish i could draw my lover/s sigh. figure drawing is something i want to break into really bad, but where i live rn it's not very optimal. other than that, i want to finally break past my rut with my lion head frame so i can start designing the features for them haha
oh i do want to work on color though, i've really been slacking in that front (i'm in my monochrome era LOL)
22: what are you best at drawing/doing (ex: youre good at lineart, or drawings hands, etc.)
i think one of my best skills is line control? or at least, how to work with lines to get them to do what i want, while also having an organic feeling to them :o) it's my favorite part of art too
