I love you.
In my heart your name lay inscribed,
In my mind your face is all that's described,
My soul reaches for you, and only you.
But I wonder at times,
If you would truly appreciate these rhymes,
If you would laugh, maybe cry,
So I keep them locked away,
as my mind runs astray.
All I want is to feel your lips on mine,
To see your beautiful eyes shine,
To have you in my arms once more,
To go further than we ever have before.
But these words remain trapped,
Stuck within my heart,
The heart that aches and breaks near every day,
So I keep those words locked away.
