Hi! I am indeed alive; I've just about finished recommending all the Naruto fanfiction I wanted. I recently started reading danmei (I've already read "Heaven Official's Blessing," "Scum Villain's Self-Saving System," "Devil Venerable Also Wants to Know," and "Mistakenly Saving the Villain"). In this blog, I will recommend fanfics from these fandoms in the future.

This post is about a Modern AU where Naruto and Sasuke are switches (smut of godly quality). Truth be told, this is my favorite dynamic.

His dandelion blond hair was tousled in a way that was so gorgeous it almost seemed manufactured, like he’d deliberately styled it to look like a sexy bedhead but Sasuke knew it was genuine because . . . well, it was Naruto. He was genuine to a fault. There were even streaks of red and orange paint on Naruto's cheeks, sideways slashes like coy little whiskers, as if he was a fey or a shapeshifter, come to tempt Sasuke. The wickedness at the edges of his smile didn’t help either, the sharp tilt that whispered, i’ve been dreaming about fucking you. Sasuke wasn’t one for flowery descriptions in his writing. His style, even in poetry, tended towards sparse, but Naruto—and only Naruto—drew Sasuke’s mind to metaphor and the mythic.

I love the idea of how Sasuke decided to express his fondness for Naruto with baking. Second, this fanfic has a lot of angst; all the problems are there, and there are even some suicide attempts from Sasuke's side. But they eventually figured everything out. I love how well Sasuke is written in this fic; this is what I call an eye-opener. His talk with Minato is incredible. Won't Let Go by ninagum (orphan_account) Naruto and Sasuke wake up at the hospital after the war, worn-out, with an invisible red-string still laced between them. "You’ve called me your friend so many times... But..." "Say it." "I don't think you really mean it like that." - This fic is one of my all-time favourites. In this one, Naruto kills the council! I was so happy when I read it; I love darker Naruto in the fics. I love how the writer decided to encapture their dynamic with a lot of angst, passion, and open questions. Best of Modern AU Part III

Have I ever thought I would post two parts of modern AU in one day? Probably not, but I am doing it anyway. These three fics are my all-time favourite because of the adorable Itachi! Really, how are you all writing this character so well?

I think my brother's gay by Skyheaven @0skyheaven0 I saw my brother fall in love with a boy, but I'm choosing not to tell him. I'd rather let him come out when he's ready to. Then again, it's hard to keep it to myself sometimes when they're being so obvious. - Sns dynamic is captured astonishingly well to the smallest detail from the first person's point of view(Itachi's). Sasuke and Naruto are in high school, and we follow their relationship development. Small blushes, precious interactions, everything is there. This post wasn't planned; I felt a little down and went straight into fanfiction slumber, but I searched for gold and found diamonds. These three fics have entirely different Naruto and Sasuke, and I love everything about these fics.

Love me tender, love me sweet by msmooseberry Sasuke has always been tall, and self-conscious because of it, but Naruto doesn't mind at all. - Very shy and self-conscious Sasuke and adorable Naruto. I haven't read anything like that before; this must be explored by me more in the future. I am a sucker for shy, self-conscious Sasuke; he is a gentle giant. But Naruto is tiny in this AU, he is Sasuke's little angel, his sunshine. I love their relationship dynamic so much. I love this kind of trope, but this fic is exceptional. Naruto's character is excellently written. He is an enabler here; he helps address Sasuke's issues with Itachi; he protects our black kitty and shows him his compassion. Best of Time Travel AU

There are A LOT of time travel fix-it fics, but this isn't my favourite trope. That said, this post might be the only part of the recommendations for this section of Naruto fanfiction.

Uzumaki Revival by Lerya @lerya-fanfic They had been trapped in the ruins of Uzushio for who knows how long, the hastily erected barrier on the point of breaking, which would mean their deaths at the hand of Kaguya, when the Bijuu come with a solution. A solution that requires them to make the ultimate sacrifice, to give them a chance to change it all. - Naruto, Sasuke, Sakura, Kakashi and Obito were reborn as a part of the Uzumaki clan to fix past mistakes. This is my favourite fic, where Naruto is a functioning Kage. Everything is logical in this fanfic. Sakura is a strong and capable woman; everyone in our small group acknowledges how competent as a leader Naruto is. French Kissing, the End of the World, and Other Impossible Ordeals by Tsume_Yuki This is it, centuries of excellent genetics, of carefully selected marriages to maximise the potential of future generations and it’s going to be Sasuke who introduces idiocy to the Uchiha bloodline. The ancestors must be rolling in their graves. In which Sasuke is smitten, Naruto is a badass, and timetravel happens. - This fic saved me from depression quite a few times. You could just read it purely for serotonin production. I just can't get over how smitten Sasuke is. They save the world together and live happily ever after. Apparently, I have a thing for feral Naruto, who gains his animalistic traits from being Kurama's vessel; snarky remarks from Kyuubi; them working together; or Kurama being on his own discovering what it means to be human.

Some of these fics are very popular, but I post them mostly to digitalize my reading diary<3.

To pay them back, he searches out a figure of legend: The vessel of the Nine-Tails, the creature that nearly once destroyed Konoha in its early days, and the one responsible for the destruction of Uzushio. If anyone will help him level the village, surely the Nine Tails' vessel will. And if he demands a price, Sasuke will gladly pay it. - Naruto is feared for being the vessel of Ninetails and thus was locked up for decades; he has animalistic traits, is nearly immortal and chooses Sasuke as his reward for destroying Konoha. This fanfic has fantastic storytelling, character description and... well, smut. It is NaruSasu only. I don't get why there is such a small amount of Kudos. Kurama's still getting the hang of this 'human' thing, but given that he's 30 years back in time with catastrophes to prevent and a blond brat to save, he'll have to figure things out on the fly. Luckily, living with Naruto's been good for his ability to improvise, if nothing else. - Main paring is Kurama/Kakashi. This has sns in the background, but mainly it is a time-travel fix-it with Kurama being sent back in time in Naruto's body. It is one of the best time travel and must-read in Naruto's fanfiction.
