โจ Good Omens Aro week Event โจ
The Good Omens fandom has been an aro/ace safe place for years.
Over the time I've seen many beautiful creations by Good Omens fans about aromanticism and/or asexuality. And lucky you: next week is Aromantic spectrum awarness week! ๐๐ค๐ฉถ๐ค
From February 18th to 24th it will be the perfect time to celebrate aro voices in our fandom โจ
How can you participate?
You don't have to produce anything new (but if you do I'm looking respectfully ๐ ). The goal is to put foward what the aromantic and aroace side of the fandom already offers. There's a lot of ways you can do that:
share and reblog fanarts/comics/fanfics/cosplay/edits you liked
reblog meta and headcanons
share stories about what Good Omens means to you and your aromanticism
send some nice words to an aro fan creator
share link to aro Good Omens merch
Everything is welcome as long as it includes/focus on aromanticism and Good Omens.
You only have to tag this account (@goaroweek)! I'll reblog everything so everyone can find and enjoy GO aro content in one place.
Groundrules
Finally here's some groundrules just so we're clear:
No sharing AI generated content
No stealing and reposting other people's works, reblog and links will do just fine
No discourse and no badmouthing other headcanons
The goal is to spread aro positivity in this fandom. Let's be kind with each other ๐

Does it have to be a new work?
Yes
What is considered NSFW?
For fic, implied sexual content is acceptable, but no further. For art, non-sexual nudity that doesn't show anything explicit.
What is the word limit for fic?
1,500 words
What are the specs for art pieces?
300 dpi, 6.5 x 9.5", and in CYMK
Will contributors get copies?
All contributors will get a complimentary copy of the zine
How long is the creation period?
The creation period will be 2 months, from January 14th to March 14th

Hello all!
Thank you all for your responses to our interest check! We received 80 responses! So we will be going forward with the project.
Most responders wish for the anthology to be a charity anthology, so we will give all proceeds to a charity, TBD at a later date.
And here are some answers to questions that our respondents asked:
Will the anthology be available as a PDF? Yes! We will print a paperback book and offer PDF/EPUB copies.
What kind of asexual representation/headcanons would be allowed? Any asexual and/or aromantic identity on the spectrums are allowed!

Each day includes a couple different prompts. Pick & Choose which ones to use and/or combine for each day.
All types of fanworks are allowed and encouraged: fanfic, fanart, cosplay, gifs, playlists, etc.

All Good Omens Media is allowed: Book, Show, Radio, etc.
Feel free to include all GO characters, not just Aziraphale and Crowley.
