Warnings: None
Context: This chapter is set later in 2020
A/N: Sorry for the long hiatus! The story hasn’t ended yet. I didn’t think I would continue, but I kept thinking about the nasty cliffhanger.
Tears of regret welled up in my eyes as I watched my screen light up with another incoming message. I was perplexed – was he going to cut me down further?
Tumblr media
Kidding? He thought I was acceptable to joke about this? I was so tense but a wave of relief washed over me, calming me down. Did he mean that…?

I was a great liar.
This whole time, I had been lying to myself. I thought I moved on, and because of the past decisions I had made, the saga continued.
I was one for making mistakes, but this had to be the worst. I only realised the depth of my mistake a few days ago when Wendy started teasing me.
Recently, I had discovered some numbers I had saved in my email from when I backed up information some time ago.
What I was about to do was stupid and futile, but I felt the urge to do so.
Tumblr media
That was the confirmation, right? He absolutely, positively, one hundred percent hated me.
But something tugged at my heart, something deeper that dissatisfaction. I decided to keep talking.

Context: This chapter is set later in 2020.
So much time had passed. Wendy was right, I regretted everything soon after I cut contact with Felix, but I hid it. I told her nothing to shield my shame, waiting for the day I would forget about him.
Eventually, that day did come. It was odd. I wasn’t certain if I was over Felix, but I just never thought about him. I avoided anything to do with him and it became second nature for me to do so.
Things were looking up a little… Well, I believed so.

Masseuse AU [Felix x Reader]
Tumblr media
A/N: Random thing I wanted to write. I saw a prompt idea from @thatonenoona and it sounded like an interesting concept. Idk if I did it any justice. It’s quite a short one. (I hope you like it :))
Warnings: None, I believe? There’s nothing NSFW in here unless you read it weirdly.
Words: 622
You entered the serene, dimly lit room, decorated with delicate orchids and a subtle aroma of lavender in the air. Soft jazz music played in the background, creating a calming atmosphere that instantly soothed your senses. It was your first time experiencing a professional massage, and a mix of anticipation and nervousness coursed through your veins.
As you settled onto the plush massage table, the white sheets cooled against your skin. The door opened, and in walked a man, his presence exuding a gentle aura of calmness. Dressed in a clean white uniform, he carried himself with grace and professionalism. His warm, chocolate brown eyes met yours, filled with genuine care and consideration.
With a warm smile, the man began to speak, his voice resonating with an amazingly deep Australian accent that sent shivers down your spine. "G’day," he greeted you, his voice smooth as silk. "My name is Felix, and I'll be your masseuse today. Before we begin, may I ask if you have any specific areas of tension or discomfort?"
His words washed over you, and you found yourself mesmerized by the gentle cadence of his voice. Hesitating a little, you managed to express that your neck and shoulders were particularly tight from the stresses of daily life. Felix nodded understandingly, his eyes filled with empathy.
"Of course," he replied, his soothing voice relieving you of your nerves. "I'll take good care of you. Please let me know throughout the session if you'd like more or less pressure, or if there's anything else I can do to make you more comfortable."
With his skilled hands, Felix began the massage, starting with delicate strokes along the nape of your neck. The moment his fingertips made contact, a wave of warmth spread through your body, and you struggled to suppress a gasp of pleasure. He moved with a precision and fluidity that spoke of his expertise, each movement purposeful and deliberate.
“More…” you practically purred, initially leaving your sentence unfinished without realizing. “Sorry?”
“More pressure…where you were just before,” you allowed your eyes to close and Felix responded to your request with action – it didn’t go unnoticed.
As Felix worked his magic, his touch alternated between firm and gentle, catering to your preferences without a word exchanged. With every kneading motion, his hands glided effortlessly, tracing the contours of your muscles with remarkable dexterity. The tension gradually melted away under his skillful ministrations, leaving you feeling weightless and blissful.
You tried to keep yourself composed, but your lips quivered, betraying your facade. Goosebumps washed over you alongside the electrifying sensations coursing through your body. Oh God.
The air between you two crackled with an unspoken connection, even though Felix remained completely professional, focused solely on providing the best massage experience possible.
Time seemed to stand still as Felix's hands continued their dance, ridding you of the knots and tightness in your body. Each motion and touch was a testament to his artistry, leaving you in a state of sublime relaxation. As the session neared its end, Felix's touch grew lighter, easing you back into the present moment.
With a final, tender stroke, Felix stepped back, your lack of contact followed by a wave of chills. He offered you a genuine smile, a glimmer of satisfaction in his eyes. "Well, I hope that was enjoyable for you," he said, his voice carrying a hint of pride. "Remember to take it easy and drink plenty of water to keep yourself hydrated."
You found yourself nodding, and you rose from the massage table, a profound gratitude filled your heart. However, as you left the room, you were overwhelmed with embarrassment. You could only hope he hadn’t thought too much of your lack of control.

The Mirror, Chapter Four

Context: This chapter is set in early 2019.
Words: ~500
A/N: I’ve changed the logo again because I’m a bit of a perfectionist and didn’t like the other one lmao. Apologies for any errors in the writing.
I received a strange message the other day and I had still been thinking about it. Well, nothing was peculiar about it in truth, but I always got a lot of messages from unknown numbers and none have ever said anything as informal and cryptic as “Hey”.
No explanation, no mention of names… nothing. I couldn’t stop overthinking it for some reason. I told Chan about it, but he dismissed it as a fan who got hold of my number.
Perhaps that was true, but I wanted to respond anyway. It was… an odd gut feeling. I would have blocked it if it wasn’t for that… But, I asked who it was.
Since I asked, there had been no response.
Even though I never got a response, something stopped me from deleting it. Still.
Perhaps it was someone I knew? I recently had to clear out a bunch of contacts because there were far too many I hadn’t contacted in too long, and some I never needed to again.
Regardless, I really had no clue who they were.
Tumblr media
Almost a week passes…
As Wendy and I held our backstage passes tightly in our hands, excitement coursed through our veins. The pulsating energy of the crowd echoed through the venue as the opening act captivated everyone's attention.
As we made our way backstage, my heart ached with anxiety, but my mind buzzed with anticipation. It was thrilling that after so much time I’d finally get to talk to Felix again. However, I had questions, and this was also my chance to get answers.
Standing backstage, surrounded by the pulsating energy of the concert, I spotted Felix in the distance, a familiar face among the bustling crew and staff. My heart skipped a beat as I mustered the courage to approach him.
"Hey, Felix," I called out, my voice cracking slightly. He turned, a hint of surprise flickering in his eyes as he recognised me. A warm smile tugged at the corners of his lips, but I could sense a hint of regret as well.
"What a surprise! It’s so good to see you," he said, his voice laced with joy. "I'm sorry about losing touch. Life has been so hectic, I even struggle to keep in touch with family all the time."
"It's alright, Felix," I replied, trying to hide the disappointment that had quietly settled within me. "I understand."
I had this internal conflict. Something felt so…off. He was sweet as always but it didn’t align with the message I received the other day. What what going on?
As well as that, the vibe he was giving off was so…different. I knew I hadn’t seen him in years, but he seemed to be acting like a character, not himself.
I needed clarity and sincerity, so I asked.
“Why did you delete my contact?” I blurted, regretting it almost immediately. I worried that I came off as rude or entitled.
“What do you mean?”
“What do I mean? You heard me,” at this point my words were flowing in all the wrong ways, and my mind hated every ounce of my being the moment I did.
How was I going to fix this?

The Mirror, Chapter Three
SKZ!Felix x Reader
Tumblr media
Warnings: None
Context: This chapter is set in early 2019.
As we walked through the aisles of the fashion shop, my excitement grew with each passing step.
Wendy beamed with enthusiasm, her eyes sparkling as she scanned the racks of clothes. She was great at spotting good things, and her fashion sense was impeccable. Me, on the other hand, I was more laid-back when it came to my style. Anything that caught my eye and made me feel confident was good enough for me.
"Wendy, look at this dress! It's so cute!" I exclaimed, holding up a flowy floral dress.
She turned towards me, her face lighting up at the sight of the dress. "Ah, absolutely gorgeous! It would look amazing on you! Should I get that for you?"
I couldn't help but smile at her enthusiasm, but a twinge of guilt nagged at the back of my mind. She was too generous, and I felt indebted to her, even though she never expected anything in return before.
I tried to convince her, "Wendy, you really don't have to pay for everything. I feel bad always accepting your generosity."
She tilted her head, her warm eyes filled with sincerity. "Look, you're my best friend, and I love doing things for you. It makes me happy. Let me take care of this. Besides, you deserve something special for this concert."
I sighed, knowing Wendy's determination would overpower any protest I made. She had a heart of gold, and no matter how much I resisted, she would find a way to make me feel cherished and loved.
We continued our search, browsing through racks of clothes, trying on different styles, and sharing giggles as we twirled in front of the mirrors. Wendy would pick out the most stunning outfits for me, and each time, I would marvel at her knowledge of my taste which was better than my own.
Finally, after what seemed like an eternity of trying on various ensembles, we settled on our outfits. Wendy had chosen a sleek black jumpsuit for herself, accentuated with silver accessories and a statement necklace. As for me, I opted for a flouncy pastel skirt paired with a simple white blouse and a denim jacket.
As we approached the counter to make our purchases, Wendy insisted on paying for both outfits, despite my protests. She had this way of making me feel like the luckiest person in the world, showering me with kindness and affection.
As we left, our arms laden with bags, I couldn't help but feel grateful for having Wendy in my life.
Tumblr media
At the very least, I had a promise to keep. Wendy asked that I would keep in contact with Felix. I guess, just to remind him of my existence…
Tumblr media
I didn’t expect a response for a while, so I waited patiently. He responded an hour later, surprisingly.
Tumblr media
He deleted my contact…?
I didn’t respond.

The Mirror, Chapter One
SKZ!Felix x Reader
Tumblr media
Warnings: None
Context: This chapter is set in early 2019.
A/N: This story begins with a prologue. This chapter won’t make much sense without reading it!
Our conversations here and there did continue, but they gradually grew briefer – I knew a lot about him, and he knew that life had barely changed for me since he left. I noticed that we kept having the same conversations.
I had enough of it. I wanted to see him. But I knew I couldn’t.
Just like last time, our different lives inevitably caused us to drift once again. I decided I wouldn’t fight my feelings anymore. I would ignore them.
I didn’t reach out to Felix again.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
A few days pass…
The aroma of freshly brewed coffee and the sound of gentle chatter enveloped the air, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.
As I scanned the room, my eyes finally rested on a man sitting at a small corner table, engrossed in a book. I couldn't help but notice his genuine smile as he glanced up and met my gaze. He stood up, extending his hand in a friendly gesture. I couldn't deny that there was something endearing about him.
“It’s Sean. Nice to meet you.”
I greeted him as we settled at a table near the window, the soft sunlight casting a gentle glow on our surroundings. Sean and I engaged in light-hearted conversation, exchanging stories and discovering shared interests. He was a great listener, making me feel comfortable and at ease in his presence.
Yet, as our conversation flowed, I couldn't shake the nagging thought of Felix.
As the evening wore on, I found myself torn between two worlds. Sean’s charm was undeniable, his kindness shining through his every word and gesture. Yet, in my mind, he was still far from comparable to Felix.
I just couldn’t see myself dating Sean. It would never work, right? But I felt awful. He seemed to really like me.
I had to go home. I needed clarity. I had to talk to Wendy again.
With a bittersweet smile, I thanked Sean for a delightful evening, grateful for the moments we had shared. As I walked away from the café, my mind immediately flooded with thoughts out of my control.
I didn’t want control.
I believed I wasn’t making the right decisions.

The Mirror, Prologue: P4
SKZ!Felix x Reader
Tumblr media
Warnings: None
Context: This part is set in December of 2017.
We hadn’t talked in ages.
I didn’t blame him for it. I quivered at the thought of disturbing him – I knew he was always busy. It didn’t matter, though. I physically couldn’t get myself to message him again. I believed it was a sense of fear attached to my feelings. I wanted, I dreamed for something I could never have.
I had to forget him.
But no matter what I did, I couldn’t delete his contact. I just…couldn’t. I hated to admit it, but I missed him. More than he ever would miss us all. He told me to get rid of all the pictures I had, but I was so reluctant. So, I didn’t.
Something changed. I had been watching episodes of ‘Stray Kids’ and watching quite often. It gave me temporary alleviation when I saw his face. After each episode I would still sigh. This attraction… or addiction was unfathomable.
This episode was different. At the end of episode 8, I couldn’t hold back my tears.
He was what? Eliminated?
I was finally going to talk to him.
