I really appreciate how the final dialogue with Joshua changes depending on the outcome of the confrontation with Salt Upon Wounds.
It goes from really dispassionate, short words of “There. It’s finished”, with no mention of gratitude for your presence or assistance, if you choose to let Joshua execute the warlord, and then changes to casually thanking the courier for assisting in the fight if you tell Salt Upon Wounds to stand and defend himself. But, if you can pass all of Joshua’s speech checks, and uncover the truth of why he’s so singleminded in his quest to destroy the White Legs, and convince him to spare Salt Upon Wounds, instead he says “Thank you…for staying with me”.
Not thanking you for winning the conflict, not for convincing him to lay down arms, but for staying with him. There’s something to be said in the vulnerability in that sentiment, especially considering how it follows a conversation that is presented as a confession. Joshua finally facing his faults and not trying to shift the blame of the anger and resentment he holds within, while also acknowledging, with some humility, the courier’s place in all of it.

This might be an unpopular opinion but I’m really glad Monsta will take their time for bbbg s2. I know they’ll focus more on their new project but I really hope they’ll talk about bbbg s2 storyline too. No hate but bbbg s1′s storyline wasn’t really….well written.
Try to take a look back on Boboiboy Season 2 (the original series), it has good storyline, good main villain’s introduction (ejojo’s introduction is still my favorite), good character development(s), and good teamworks too.
I just…hope Boboiboy story’ll be great again. Not even in my dream I criticize bbb because I hate it or I want people to hate it (because I know some people think like that).
