Constantly thinking about how Aphmau never told Laurance who killed Joh, so Laurance probably blamed himself for his father's death and he already blamed himself for Sasha's so mans is just not having a good time.

Unpopular(?) Mystreet Opinions! Why? Because this has been in my drafts for MONTHS and I need to clean out my drafts (there are like 19 or something-)
- Laurance and the Shadow Knights (Sasha, Zenix, and Gene) deserved an exclusive episode together
- Garrance should’ve been canon
- Jess should’ve used Nana Ashida instead of Kawaii~Chan for said pink mefiwa
- Laurance and Garroth should’ve moved on from Aphmau by the middle or end of season 1
- Laurance and Cadenza deserved more screen time (please, I want the sweet older sister and the angry little brother dynamic-)
- we should’ve got more insight into some of the characters backstories (ex. Katelyn, Laurance, Cadenza, Lucinda, Nana, etc.)
- THEY SHOULD’VE KILLED EIN SOONER (OR redeemed him, he had such potential)
- Laurance shouldn’t have been abandoned as a character
- Ivy should’ve been told off in PDH for stalking Garroth
- Aaron and Aphmau shouldn’t have met in high school, they should’ve met as adults
- the series is poorly written
- Aphmau is a Mary Sue, especially early on
- Laurance and Aphmau should’ve had a more sibling relationship than a romantic one
- we should have gotten some context about Laurance and Gene’s past, instead of just implied mistreatment
- Aphmau is a boring character
- Jess and Jason were bad writers
- there should’ve been more racial diversity (Aphmau is canonically Mexican, Nana is Asian (implied to be Japanese i think?), and Teony is black but everyone else is implied to be white)
- the Shadow Knight’s should’ve kept their “demonage” (if you will) from MCD
- NOT EVERY MALE CHARACTER HAD TO BE INFATUATED WITH APHMAU (PLEASE! I am TIRED)
- Aphmau and Katelyn should’ve been step-sisters (they’re already a great duo and Katelyn’s dad is... involved with Aphmau’s mom)
AND THATS IT! 20 unpopular(?) opinions and months in writing later (I fuckin’ forgot this in my drafts-) you finally have some juicy content. Feel free to steal this idea or to fiddle with my ideas as your own (I know I’m probably not the first one to come up with some of these.)

I think the way I think about MCD and MS characters has been so skewed by my own headcanons... for better or for worse.
Because, Pros:
-None of the guys are creeps anymore
-Katelyn keeps Luca as a GF (fuck you, they belong together)
- Garrance (enough said
-Laurance and Dante being brothers
-Aphmau is not a bitch
But, Cons:
-I cannot watch the source material anymore
-hearing anyone defend Canon!Aphmau makes me gag

Hey All!
Not to worry, I'm not dead. However, I want to talk about something.
Lately, I've been really burnt out from Aphmau content. Don't get me wrong, I'm as unhealthily attached to Laurance, Garroth, Katelyn, and the rest as the next guy, but I'm very tired of it.
I want to expand my content! I want to rant and rave about Good Omens, or FNAF, or anything I want! I want this blog to be my own, the place I go to when my friends are tired of my ramblings or I'm bored on a Sunday. I don't hate what I post, but it's feeling repetitive.
I've also been working on my own universe, my own creation. I'm hoping to make a book out of it, but even if I don't, I want to be able to show my art here.
TLDR: I'm tired of doing only Aphmau-Text content, and I want to do other things. If this means I lose any of you, I totally understand and I hope all of you have a decent life and endless happiness.

So, I headcanon that Laurance is Latino and now I’m just thinking about him teaching Garroth a dance native to whatever country he’s from. I imagine it’s liek a partner dance that people usually do with their lovers, which would make it more funny bc they’re both hopeless romantics and oblivious as FUCK

MORE MCD!LAUR HEADCANONS
-Laurance doesn't sleep through the night so he takes naps throughout the day
-Laurance sometimes goes to Lucinda's house just to hang out or get some of her pumpkin pie
-Garroth said Laurance "fights dirty" after a 1v1 training session between the two
-Laurance says that Joh (his adoptive dad) was the best influence on him
-Laurance can't talk about Joh without it bringing him to tears, so he usually doesn't talk about it
-Aphmau never told Laurance that Sasha killed Joh. Once Laurance found out, he began losing trust in her.
-Laurance talks about Garroth a lot... like too much...
-Laurance can't sleep unless he knows that everyone else in whatever building he's in is safe, so he goes around making sure everyone is okay before he sleeps.
-When he was blind, Laurance had a staff that he used to find his way around when no one was with him. He still has it to this day.
-Laurance's automatic response to being frightened is to punch. This once lead to Cadenza getting a black eye and a lot of new sewing equipment.
-Laurance knows how to sew, but he's no where near as good as Cadenza.
-Laurance has the mindset that anyone who harms a child is unforgivable.
-Emmalyn once asked Laurance what being a Shadow Knight was like, since he's the only one in Pheonix Drop, which lead to hours of borderline trauma dumping that the two keep to themselves.
-Laurance sometimes goes to Cadenza's house after having nightmares, so she gave him a key.
-Laurance thinks marriage is kinda dumb
-Laurance sometimes avoids people, but he doesn't know why
-Laurance loosens up a LOT around Cadenza and Garroth, but Garroth didn't know that thats what was happening until Cadenza told him
-Cadenza and Laurance embarrass eachother all the time.
-Dante once asked what Joh was like, and was met with hours worth of stories from Laurance.
-Laurance visits Ungreth's grave a lot with offerings and once fell asleep there, which led to him getting yelled at by Garroth for worrying everyone
-Garroth and Dante are morning people but Laurance really isn't
-Laurance once snapped at Dante because he kept asking about the Nether, although he did apologize for it later.
-When Malachi was in a coma, Laurance did his best to make sure Aphmau and Levin were alright while Lucinda focused on Malachi
-Laurance puts himself into harms way all the time
-Laurance likes shiny things, like coins, so Garroth and Dante got him some of Zoey's fairy lights
-(in s2) Aphmau let Laurance watch Lilith Garnet a few times, but stopped because he accidently taught her how to say "fuck" and "motherfucker"
-Laurance thinks it's hilarious when young children curse

MCD Laurance headcanons! 3 2 1 GOOOOOOOOOOOOOO-
-Laurance sneezes like a kitten
-He can turn his eyes red without turning, but its usually accidental
-Laurance and Dante bonded really well in the first day they met, so Laurance claimed him as his brother
-Laurance loves kids and babysits for Aph any time Zoey needs a break
-Laurance once bit through Garroth’s sword during a training session and ended up getting him a new and enchanted one
-Laurance almost never gets a full night of sleep
-Laurance and Cadenza are very competitive with each other, even in season 3 (when Laurance was all angry and angsty and SHOWED UP FOR 2 EPISODES-)
-Laurance is always cold bc Meteli is hotter then Phoenix Drop (cuz its a swamp)
-Laurance “steals” Malachi whenever he’s off bc the kid is essentially his son
-Garroth and Laurance cuddled a lot when they were looking for Logan bc Garroth is a human heater and Laurance isn’t used to the cold

-he has an old necklace that Sasha gave him on him at all times, even in s3
-he and Cadenza speak fluent Spanish, so sometimes they’ll talk in Spanish like its their secret language (cuz Phoenix Drop doesn’t have a lot of Spanish speakers)
-Laurance has trouble reading, even though his vocabulary is pretty big, so Cadenza sometimes reads to him
-Laurance taught Cadenza how to fight “just in case”
-Laurance is big on cuddles. Just- he loves em

MY SPARK HAS BEEN RE-IGNIGHTED!!
Can we talk about the WASTED POTENTIAL of MCD Season 3??
Laurance, between s2 and the start of s3, has become bitter and cold, and angry, and all the things he has the right to feel because of how fucked up his life has been and shit like that, but at the same time, he is leading a rebellion against an old ass man, a man who tortured him, and a woman he called his best friend and who he watched DIE. He’s also WORKING with ZENIX. Ya know, THE MAN WHO THREATENED LEVIN AS A BABY!!
That story line is SO MUCH COOLER than just following Aphmau around for ANOTHER season. Hell, if its TOO FAR to just focus on Laurance, they could’ve focused on Laurance AND Aphmau. Have half of the episode be about Aph and her adventures and have the other half be about Laurance and his struggles in the nether. THAT WOULD BE SO MUCH COOLER THAN WHAT WE GOT! I CAN’T DEAL!
Laurance is just a cooler character then Aphmau. The only thing Aph had going for her was the mystery about her magic, which was solved in season 2. But a story about Laurance trying to move on and heal from his wounds, literally and figuratively, while also trying to win a war would not only be cooler but it would connect better with audiences and it would be more gut wrenching and- ITS JUST SO MUCH BETTER!
