With the window open, a pleasant breeze blows in, and you sit next to Soobin, watching him organize school documents. Within the empty classroom, it's just the two of you.

"You don't have to wait for me to finish; it'll take a while to organize all this." Soobin glances at you with a sweet smile.

You pull your chair closer to Soobin, resting your head on his shoulder, feeling down and exhausted.

Soobin's heart skips a beat, and he blushes faintly, his eyes fixed on your face while you look up at him with a tired smile. The warm rays of the sun filter through the window, adding to the comforting atmosphere.

"Have you been having trouble sleeping?" Soobin asks softly, showing genuine concern.

"A little," you murmur, snuggling your head into his neck and letting out a contented sigh.

Soobin smiles down at you and gently lifts your head, placing it on his lap. He starts tracing patterns on your head with his hand, his eyes locked on your face.

"You look really tired," he whispers in the gentlest and softest tone you've ever heard, patting your head and rubbing away the stress.

"Kinda had trouble sleeping last night," you say, with a hint of nervousness, your words turning quiet and mumbling as your finger traces circles on his knees.

Soobin continues to rub your hair, his gaze focused on your lips. He senses the nervousness in your voice as you mumble. His eyes wander from your lips to your neck and collarbone.

"Is there something worrying you?" Soobin's gentle voice brings your attention back to him. His eyes meet yours, innocent and looking for an answer.

"There is... I want to tell you and get it off my chest, but I'm scared it might ruin our friendship," you admit, avoiding eye contact and fidgeting with your fingers anxiously.

Soobin's hand stops caressing your hair. He leans in closer, shifting his body towards you.

"Look at me," he whispers. Despite your hesitation, his soft voice draws you in, and your eyes meet his. Soobin smiles genuinely at you, a smile reserved only for you.

"You won't ruin anything. Nothing will change between us," he says, holding your hand to keep it from fidgeting.

"Promise?" you ask with a worried expression, your voice soft and quiet, gently tugging on his shirt anxiously.

Soobin leans in, his face inches away from yours. He cups your cheeks, his eyes still sincere.

"I promise. You trust me, right?" he asks, his voice laced with sincerity.

His warm breath tickles your skin, sending goosebumps over your body. Despite the fear in your heart, you nod in agreement.

With your eyes closed, you gather the courage to confess your feelings to him, feeling the warmth spreading to your cheeks. "What if I want to be more than just a friend to you, Soobin?"

Your hands tremble, eyebrows furrowed, as you anxiously await his response.

Soobin's gaze remains locked on yours. He smiles, his breath growing heavier as he takes in your words. His mind races with thoughts and ideas. Soobin's heart flutters at your sweet words, like a dream or a scene from a romance novel. He can't help but be mesmerized by your beauty, just a few inches away.

"And what will that make us?" he whispers, his voice soft. Soobin's heart races, his fists clenched tightly as he waits for you to respond.

"Mine," you whisper back, feeling warmth spread through your body. Your heartbeat quickens.

Soobin leans closer, his lips almost touching yours.

"Just mine?" he whispers.

"All yours," you reply.

Soobin pulls you in closer, as if you've given him the signal he's been waiting for. He presses his lips against yours, the world around you fading away as you melt into the kiss. Time stands still in that moment, leaving you both breathless. As he pulls away, he gives you another kiss on your forehead. With his arms snugly wrapped around you, he puts his head on yours.

The sun has set, and your lips still tingle from the sweetness of the kiss.

"I'm yours," he whispers again, softly.

pairing. roommate!beomgyu x gn!reader synopsis. Deciding to finish the essay you were working on yesterday, your roomate beomgyu suddenly runs into your arms? genre. angst, mostly fluff! warnings. kisses a/n. miss me? 😙 it's been 7 months 😺 ha ha ha ha (soobin ver.)

As you diligently worked on your essay in the living room, Beomgyu surprised you by suddenly shutting your laptop and wrapping his arms around you. Bewildered, you questioned if everything was okay, but he remained silent. Sensing his deliberate avoidance, you reassured him with comforting headpats.

Beomgyu nestled against you, his arms wrapped tightly around you. His behavior was even stranger than usual, and though he didn't respond to your questions, you understood that he was intentionally ignoring them. Softly patting his head to provide reassurance, you felt both confused and deeply concerned for him.

With a quiet smile, Beomgyu leaned into the head pats. Though more lovingly than usual, he was beginning to revert to his previous state. He looked content and at ease.

"You can talk to me, gyu. I'm always here to listen."

Beomgyu leaned back and looked at you seriously. He hesitated before responding, and instead, he pulled you closer to him.

"Gyu, I still need to do my essay, you know."

Beomgyu frowned and appeared reluctant to let you continue working. With a sigh, he continued cuddling you and pleaded, "Please, don't work now. Just cuddle with me for a bit longer."

Sensing the way his face darkened, you decided to let him seek comfort in your embrace.

Beomgyu smiled and pulled you even closer, nuzzling his face into your neck as he closed his eyes.

"What's wrong?" you asked, as Beomgyu continued to hold you tightly. He appeared somewhat guilty as he sighed softly.

"It's nothing... I just missed you," he murmured softly, pulling you even closer. His level of affection was unprecedented, something he had never done before.

"Are you sure you're okay? You've never been this... vulnerable with me," you cautiously inquired.

Beomgyu sighed softly, that's when you noticed his red eyes and tired expression. Something must be wrong.

"You're the only one I can be vulnerable with, y/n," Beomgyu whispered tenderly, leaning in closer.

Your heart skipped a beat. What did he just say?

Beomgyu looked embarrassed, averting his gaze.

"I like you," he whispered, feeling somewhat guilty. You could feel his blush under your hands. He had never been this vulnerable with you before.

"Like, romantically," he clarified, realizing the significance of his confession.

You looked at him with shock for a moment; his words made your heart flutter.

"I like you too, gyu," you said softly.

Beomgyu's eyes widened, surprise evident on his face. His cheeks reddened, and he was momentarily speechless.

"Really...?" his voice regained its soft, sweet tone. He didn't know how to react, but he was undeniably happy. He stared at you for a moment before leaning in to give you a small, sweet kiss on your cheek.

"Why didn't we date sooner? I could've gotten kisses like this from you."

With a smile on his face and a comforting expression, Beomgyu rested his head on yours. He cuddled up against you and chuckled.

"I don't know, y/n," he whispered softly, still smiling. "I guess I was just so scared of ruining what we already have, and I really didn't want to lose you." His tone was gentle, and his voice exuded warmth.

"I'm glad I gave in... because now I have you all to myself." He placed another affectionate kiss on your cheek. "All yours, Choi Beomgyu" you laughed and gave him a quick peck on the nose in response.

Beomgyu smiled, wrapping his arm around you and pulling you into a loving and sweet hug. His lips brushed against your neck, sending a delightful tingle throughout your body. His touch was warm and gentle, making you feel secure and at ease. In a soft and romantic tone, he whispered once more.

"You're mine, y/n" He smiled gently, his voice full of sweetness and heart eyes just for you.

Students rushed to the cafeteria as soon as the school bell rang, leaving you, Jungwon, and a few other students behind.

Suddenly, he begins to recline his chair. in order to attach the chair's back to your table. He gets his packed lunch and sets it down next to your meal.

He sits down facing you and asks, "Hey, mind if I eat with you?"

You respond, a little perplexed but glad to have someone to eat with, "Uhm no not at all."

He smiles and replies, "Y/n right?," as he eats his meal.

You quickly respond, pointing your utensil in his direction, "Yep, jungwon was it?"

He asks, coughing up agitation, "You know me?"

You nod your head in response.

"Mr. Class President, who wouldn't know you?" You chuckle a little and smile with your distinctive eyes.

He says, slightly embarrassed that he forgot he was class president, "Oh, right." Since the first day, he has wanted to talk to you, but he has only just found the guts to do so.

He asks while taking a look at your lunch bag, "What's your lunch?" his face inches closer to yours.

You gaze up to him only to realize that your nervousness is being caused by his close proximity. "Bacon and egg. It's very plain."

"Oh wow, breakfast for lunch huh." He looks at you, noticing that your faces are only a few inches away.

He murmured, "Pretty."
