god dean's reaction to meeting gay people will never fail to amaze me. he's so surprised but also genuinely curious and you just get the feeling that he hasn't had the chance to be around queer people much in his life which makes me so sad but also so happy for future dean who will surround himself with queer friends and family.

i just watched 5x09 the real ghostbusters and the scenes with dean at the end just really got to me. like here he is when he finds out the guys they've been working with are a couple:

and then the next time we see him in this episode he's leaning against the impala with the absolute cutest smile. like.... seeing someone, dressed as him, be openly gay made him smile like this!

and finally sam shows up and asks if he's okay and there isn't really a whole lot to explain his answer except that he just found out that the guys who helped them on the hunt, guys who idolize the characters sam and dean, are gay and in love.

Dean, the ultimate Black Widower.

You know, Sam Winchester gets a lot of flack for the fact that all of his girlfriends die but at least it’s always a random thing. Dean on the other hand?? So much worse!

Don’t get me wrong, I’m a Dean stan till I die but it is undeniably crazy.

My man had three boyfriends and all of them died. The big difference is the fact that they all died the exact same way. Dean (though however unintentional) convinced three supernatural beings to LITERALLY KILL THEMSELVES FOR HIM!!

He had all of them so deeply in love with him, he didn’t even have to really ask.

First we have Benny

He fell hard for Dean in Purgatory and was kinda dependent on him outside of it. It hurt Benny a ton when Dean had to cut contact because of Sam. Even then, he still willingly died and went back to the place he had tried for so long to escape. All for Dean and to make sure he was happy.

Then we have the King himself, Crowley.

Dude stabbed himself in the chest to give Dean time to escape. No illusion or trick, just a straight up suicide bomb to distract Lucifer. He clearly caught serious feelings for Dean over the years, especially after he got the mark and turned into a demon. Even though Dean straight up rejected him, he still was too deep in love. He committed suicide to keep him safe.

Then there’s the one and only, Castiel.

He died for Dean multiple times and had been in love with him for so long but this last one was really it. He confessed how much he loved Dean to his face! He said I love you! Knowing he would die if he did! All to save Dean! All to give him a chance! FUCK IM GNAWING AT THE BARS OF MY ENCLOSURE THIS ONE HURTS!

Basically, Dean had men falling over each other to sacrifice themselves because they were so in love with him and he still had the gall to think he was unlovable.

In conclusion, Dean Winchester is the most oblivious man in the universe.

No because you don't understand. I am absolutely and utterly obsessed with the way Cas' homosexual declaration of love has everyone in a chokehold. Like seriously!!!! They wanted Cas in The Winchesters but ... what about the confession. They want the revival to happen BUT they'll have to address the confession. Because after all the controversy they cant just not address it right???? They wanted desperately for the "i love you" to stay ambiguous but Misha Collins said no fucking way. I fought too hard for this shit to happen. The angel is gay. And stays gay. So now we have this show "Supernatual" that is all about the brothers" but that gay little nerdy angel who was supposed to stay for 3 episodes only!!! dictates the narrative. They painted themselves into a corner so badly because they wanted to please EVERYONE and thus managed to piss off everyone. And I'm just here grinning and eating my🍿 waiting for how things will unfold. And yknow what? I'm not even sorry. Also, Cas is gay.🌈

Well, this great love story has prevailed years of denial, and it's our now!...

Supernatural was so so so so so funny in how they were like: "Dean is such a ladies man, only boobs boobs boobs" and then they would give him a love interest in season 6 and never again.

BUT they'd have him make Cas a mixtape.

And grieve Cas like a heartbroken widower.

And then have him be happy for the first time all season once Cas returns to him (even though his mother'd still be missing).

And they'd have Dean stop with the hook-ups completely. And instead they'd have Dean make Cas watch movies together.

And have date nights.

And they'd have Dean on his knees confessing.

And the last person who'd confess his love to Dean would be a gay angel.

But Supernatural was so so so so so funny they'd be like: this means nothing.

i feel like this is a good day to remind you guys that several cas centric scenes were cut from 15x19. jack praying to him, dean tearing up when michael mentions him, and dean mentioning his name when they’re drinking. they straight up removed cas from the narrative, then expected us not to notice. like babes we noticed it was impossible not to.
