Quick update I have been working on the game and had to rewrite quite a bit! But I hope once I get back to where I was before i deleted all my work 😅🥲 I can start being more active on here again
This has also given me a good chance to work out more story elements and completely rewrite the first scene which I was originally not too happy with I am excited to start sharing snippets with yall soon!

IT ISN’T HARD TO HIRE/CONSULT A PERSON OF COLOUR FOR YOUR GAME TO HELP DESIGN AND WRITE LIKE- RAAHHH OR IDK MAYBE JUST USE COMMON SENSE

The hardest part about writing this game is I know exactly how I want it to end I just have to write the steps to get there obviously there are branching paths and different scenes and experiences and mc can die prematurely but there is only one “true” ending the same for all routes and choices just different things happen the other endings are just if MC dies
Which will probably turn away a few which is sad but hey that’s peoples own preference!
Also this kinda goes for my other game but that’s still work in progress and I don’t thourouly know the ending yet I do know that the ending will be the reveal of something
Also I have a plan that maybe after I finish these ifs in a few years that I can make visual novel game and try my hand at something slightly more happy I tend to write story’s with tragedy or taboo endings and subjects this is just the first time I’m putting them out into the world

Sorry for lack of post lately haven’t been in the best of places currently came to just generally ask yall would rather me post the demo with the first part of chapter 1 or the full chapter
context for this is chapter 1 has ended up being quite hefty with coding and just word wise and with life being so busy i think the full chapter will be longer away i already planning to have most chapters split up into two parts originally, I just wanted to have chapter 1 all out, but I think splitting it up might work better for me personally
