Hi! you mention in your faq if you make any extra profit after covering costs and artist copies you might donate it to charity, I was just wondering whether you managed to achieve that? Thanks!

Hello dear!

The profits made from the first and second rounds covered the production of artist’s copies and around half of the shipping for them! So we do not yet have excess profit to donate for charity.

After artists’ copies are dealt with, I will be uploading the excess product to our Etsy store! Now that artist’s copies are done, ALL of those profits will go towards our charity: Oxfam!

I’ll keep you all updated about that as we go along! Artist’s copies are nearly all shipped out! ^v^

Hello foodies! Just a quick update: University has been hectic but I've finally made time to sit down and mail some Artists Copies! The first batch of 6 is out! I'll be mailing them in small batches like this every week (at least!) until I can get through them all! ;v; My goal is to have them all out by Halloween! 👻 Did I buy special foodie stationary to write thank you letters to each of my foodies?... Duh! 😋🍰💌💖💖 ⭐️Extras will be up on our Etsy after I get through Artists Copies!⭐️️

Unfortunately, no, I have no plans to do this zine again in the upcoming years. A lot happened in the span of this zine, and while I’m really thankful for all that I’ve learned and all the new connections I’ve made, I’m not up to the task of organizing another zine. It’s been difficult juggling everything on my own, and while a lot of you have been so patient and kind with me, I feel like I’ve severely let others down in this entire process. I can’t shake the guilt for all the mistakes I’ve made, and while I did learn how to do so many things so much better for a next time, I don’t feel like I’m qualified to run another zine anytime soon.

However, if any of you would like to create a food-related Voltron zine, you completely have our seal of approval! And feel free to reach out to us if you do! After this zine is over, I’m considering making a Google Document on the lessons that I’ve learned along the way, which I want to make as a resource to anyone who would like to someday start their own zine, so that they at least don’t make the same mistakes that I did. :”)

Oh I didn’t mean to be such a downer,,, Here’s some happier news:

I’m currently processing Artist Copy shipments. I’ll be sending them out in small bunches probably during weekends and my goal is to have them all shipped out by Halloween! **Artists if you haven’t responded to my latest form PLEASE check your emails, I need them ASAP!** 

After that, I will be posting all extras we have onto our Etsy for sale until we’re officially sold out!

Any extra merchandise/zines will be added to our Etsy once Artists’ copies have been taken care of, we’re estimating our Etsy being back up by the end of this month! HOWEVER, there is no guarantee on the amounts of product we’ll have available! We’ll post once our Etsy shop is up and running with our remainders!
