castiel finally came out (essentially) and the writers pat themselves on the back for being "allys" and write him out of the show

hc: dean and castiel are reunited. they are in a long-term relationship and have been together for years. even now, 6 years since the confession, whenever castiel says "i love you" to dean, dean goes "what are you, dying?" and laughs his head off. its funny every time. cas hates it

dean mourned cas more in season 13 than after cas LITERALLY CONFESSED HIS LOVE TO DEAN

Wow, so that was…a finale I guess. It was dumb and embarrassing and Dabb should forever feel shame, but it could have been salvageable to at least “Not A Dishonor Brought Upon Me And My Family And My Cow” if they had just included Cas in Heaven. Don’t even have to make it shippy, or address the love confession, just have him THERE.

They brought back Random Whomever Jenny, and had all those motherfuckers on that bridge, and couldn’t bring Misha back for Cas? Even just standing there smiling at Dean?

It’s a joke, a cruel fucking joke. They kept Misha out to preserve Dean’s precious heterosexuality at any cost, including their own reputations. Even the idea of his BFF (whose gay) being in his Heaven would be too risky.
