A snort was your reply before he pokes your cheek. "Nah, can't do that. But, I'm happy to hear you like them." He rubbed you head and played with your head just right, made your eyes droop. "If you need a nap, I got ya." Epel's voice dipped low and soft, and you knew he will. You trusted him to keep you safe and get you up if either of you need to leave. Soon as you fell asleep, Epal laid his blazer down like blanket for you. He sat up and try not to stare at your sleeping form. You looked...adorable. He always thought you were. And the way you want to help everyone you can was admirable. He felt his heart race as he thought back on your date-is this a date even?-and the want to hear you laugh and see you happy was impossibly high. Just, everything you say and do just makes him fawn over you more. "She's just amazing...and I can't be a man and tell her upfront." He groans, pulling his knees to his chest. "Hpmh...I'll tell her soon. Better ask...someone that isn't my dorm-mates for help."

A strand of hair flowed in front of your eye and nibble and gentle fingers gently tucked it back behind your ear as Epel finds himself watching his best friend once more. Part of him feels a lil prideful hearing you call him that. Your best friend. Even in bittersweet thought, he's happy stay your best friend if you don't like him back romantically. You are just, that amazing to him. As the sun shined, as the water flowed, Epel laid next to his best friend and crush, (Y/n); plans of probably and definitely confessing you tomorrow floats in his head as he soon joins you in slumber. His hand gently holding yours.
