anyway to put it very simply im in an extremely Shit situation (have been stuck here for a long while but it's just been getting Worse And Worse) and i would love to get out of it sooner than later! im very autistic and disabled and have little to no education due to my Situation TM and thus can't get a job + likely Won't be able to for the next few years. only thing i know how to do is draw, so im going with that!!
(please note that the other art examples i included are just Examples and will not be as cheap as the $5-10 sketches. full color/shaded stuff will cost way more)

The stars and blue is an upcoming digital storybook being made by multiple amazing artists.
Slishy slasher has been alone for decades, festering over her self sabotaged friendships and brutal life this woman has decided she’s had enough—-she’s done, this is how it has to be she thinks.
However one day she falls out of the world into the Land and Stitch and Seam, a world of puppets where the ground and sky are made of soft felt patchwork and with a sun that doesn’t scorch your feelings.
Together with her new puppet friends the Slishy slasher begins to heal and improve as a person.

this is something i did (what feels like) a billion years ago in another life for a college art history final, the assignment was a pop culture adaptation of a work from one of the studied eras. Late Antiquity, right panel of the Symmachi–Nicomachi diptych. i remember there wasn't a good translation for the word "ring" in this context so i went with something that meant "to draw around" or "to encircle."
at the time a librarian friend asked if they could use it as promo material for their media preservation & digitization lab & of course i said yes, but i don't know if that ever panned out (i hope it did!!)

Hello Troxler, hope you're doing well. I thought to let you know about this film and artist once my Dad showed me her work.
Christiane Cegavske is a phenomenally ethereal multi media artist who has a deep expertise in stop motion and doll crafting. (thought of you and your wife's work while finding out about hers)
Sadly, I can't link the trailer to her film here but Blood Tea and Red String is a story which feels right at home with the Grimm's fairy tales. (she also has an Instagram page under the same name)

oh hello hello!! thank you for showing me this!! very cool project... she does wonderful stop motion work & the characters are so charming!! red & white design things are underrated...for some reason i'm reminded of some of the costuming from The Cell (horror film) sort of evil-baroque, like a Hydnellum peckii couture.
i'm not too shabby (besides being a little exhausted from about two weeks of almost endless errands & tasks, i'm overdue for some recharge time...) hope you're well!!

Describe your musical taste- have you heard of the Aquabats??
i like all sorts of stuff, i'm more-or-less a post-goth deathrocker kind of individual (a friend of mine refers to themself as "goth-adjacent" and i always liked that haha) so a lot of my music tastes reflect that, the sensibility of it... i like various alloys, dark wave, aggrotech & industrial but you'll also catch me listening to huge amounts of 1920s & 1930s jazz & pop, & experimental/psychedelic stuff from the '60s & 70s... lots more things, my playlists are a mess, i have no idea how to pin it down... is it pinnable... i like sounds... unconventional instruments & ɴᴏɪꜱᴇ are pure joys 🎶
the Aquabats - would it be surprising to know that i saw them live in the 90s? ha!!
