You do NOT want to know how long Radiant Lost Kin took me, but I finally did it, and with some nice spell-use and attention to the stagger counter, too! Charms used at the very end. Silksong at the Game Awards later today?
I wanted to explain to a friend who hadn't yet played Astral Chain how sync attacks work and how the game uses canned animation sequences to preserve the Platinum flair while ultimately making a game that focuses more on positioning, so I spent some time making this visual aid. Idk, maybe someone will find it helpful.
NOTE: If you saw this on Twitter already, that one had a couple errors I corrected, as well as a couple clarity improvements, lol.
Castlevania: Curse of Darkness boss 6 flawless: Isaac 1; kept my ID alive as a bonus. TWENTY HOURS. By far the hardest flawless I've done yet, and I tried a whole bunch of strategies before I finally got one that worked.
I haven't shared any of my Castlevania: Curse of Darkness hitless bossfights here (check @triplesmoon on Twitter or Bluesky), but I'm sharing this one because it was hard as hell and I'm proud how it turned out.
After a few hours I actually pulled it off, but it took four minutes and I wasn't satisfied with that, so I reset and tried again for about 20 minutes until I got one that was roughly two minutes.
The way I feel about these challenges, the finesse matters JUST as much as not getting hit, so I'm happy to be able to shrink a fight that normally takes ~4-6 minutes into something much shorter and spectacular.
Here's a higher quality version I uploaded to YouTube, if you prefer.

Still haven't played Metroid Prime Remastered because I'm still in the middle of my Primehack playthrough I started earlier this year and man, I'm really gonna miss how fast you can move with mouse and keyboard.
