i dont think galatea is a bad person by any means, but i do imagine their dynamic to include tracy calming a lot of galateas impulsiveness and aggression !!!!!!!

no, hunter x survivor is not abuse. it just isnt. its not comparable to abuse it doesnt have an ‘abusive dynamic’. stop being fucking dumb for one moment in your lives and gain some critical thinking skills. when a literal abuse victim stares you in the face and tells you, “this isnt abuse, stop comparing this to abuse just because you dont like it,” MAYBE SOMEONE SHOULD FUCKING LISTEN. 

abuse survivors arent your little scapegoats or excuses to shove under the bus the moment you need a reason to fucking bully, doxx, threaten, harass people because you dont like something they ship. thats fucking disgusting and i hope you know that if you do that i genuinely hate you. abuse victims arent your excuse, we’re not your toys to throw around, we arent going to sit by and let yall speak the fuck over us and then say that its out of wanting to protect us. you dont care. 

i find it so fucking ironic (directed at froggygio) that they say that theyre bullying people online because they ‘care about abuse survivors uwu’, but theyre the same person who literally has said ‘bakudeku shippers die challenge’ in the past!!! so youre condoning bullying people for shipping basically anything you dont like, and condoning death threats for it, and youre arguing youre against it because its abuse??? but turning around and doing fucking worse to actual living people??? 

its 100% clear that this is just an excuse to justify putting people through hell just because you dont like their ship. this is further fucking SOLIDIFYING that yall dont care. at all. about real abuse. all you care about is pushing your agenda of what you want to ship onto other people because yall are assholes and dont deserve any type of platform period.

I kinda wanna follow since I find this interesting...but I have to ask if you have any other ships? I'm curious. And also I'm assuming you ship quite a few survivor X hunter since you post a bit about why it's okay. I have no real strong opinions on that in itself though

actually, surprisingly, i dont have many other idv ships!!! i used to talk a bit about tracy x emma being cute, but now that i ship tracy x galatea so much, ive lost my interest.  i know some of my friends ship norton and emma and i think thats pretty cute too!!!!!  as far as hunter x survivor goes, ive seen some art of mary x vera that i thought was really cute and i kinda like the idea of it, but im not too invested in it and it does go much deeper than thinking two pretty girls would look even prettier together haha! 

tracetea headcanon #9

as opposed to how galatea likes to give affection through gifts and gestures of kindness, tracy prefers to communicate affection through physical acts. things like holding galateas hand, making sure shes close to her as she does things, kissing her cheek, etc!! galatea can be a bit awkward in reciprocating it, but she loves it a lot either way <33

I survivor X hunter ships since most hunters are dead and idk how I feel about dead X alive people. But this one is sorta cute.

see i dont really think of it as ‘dead people x alive people’ because in like?? the game?? the au?? (idk what exactly to call it AHH) the hunters are fully aware and concious and act and think just like normal living people? if that explains things ok,  and yes, tracetea is VERY cute thank u :))

galatea likes to make things for tracy, like little carved hearts, stars, and all sorts of things like that because she displays more of her affections through giving gifts and things like that, as opposed to other acts of affection

I saw the post you reblogged and it has a lot of valid points! For me I’m actually against hunter x survivor not because of the hunters, but because of the survivors and the fact that so many of them are so awful. It’s not exactly because it’s hunter x survivor. It’s just with most of the H x S ships I see, people chose pairings that just simply wouldn’t work out to me.

Galatea is actually my favorite character! She is one of the few hunters who did do something wrong (she murdered that nurse). But I don’t blame her, as she was wrongfully locked away in a mental asylum and god knows what happened to her at the rich guy’s place. I headcanon Galatea to be an adult with a very child like mind set due to the trauma she faced.

While a lot of the hunters are more innocent some of them did bad things like Smiely, and unfortunately, Galatea. (Though I don’t blame him either, murdering Sergei was a good thing, I love Margaretha too).

Personally I don’t think Galatea is in the head space for a relationship, but it’s exactly that— that’s my opinion. This game is all about headcanons and theories and bringing your own ideas to the table. Everyone is allowed to take the canon material and analyze it as they please. You can’t (not easily anyways) change the way someone feels about or interprets certain information. Just because my Galatea isn’t right for a relationship doesn’t mean that yours isn’t. That’s the beauty of a fandom baby!

I’m particularly sensitive to headcanons and such though because when I was younger I would change things so much that it basically wasn’t the source material anymore, and that really bothered people. When I realized I kinda shut down and never looked at fandoms the same way. I really appreciate you understanding, you seem like a really nice person. Thank you for listening to what I have to say!

THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!! you seem really nice as well, and i agree that we should all be able to interpret things however we like in fandoms! it feels like thats something thats kind of been lost recently, and that people are all trying to push their narrative of how they see things onto everyone else, instead of just agreeing to disagree yknow?  and yes, some hunters did bad things and some survivors did, thats why i believe its more fair to judge them as individual characters instead of just ‘survivor’ and ‘hunter’ when we are looking at if theyre generally, good or bad people. but whether they are or not is largely subjective and up to interpretation so i feel like people should be more content with a ‘live and let live’ mindset when it comes to looking at peoples ships and headcanons for these characters!!

my gf really wants wheelchair racer as well but.. same issue haha!! i do have a friend who has it though so thats really cool imo..  i prefer tracy’s red riding hood skin to the flower girl skin but i cant deny that it is absolutely gorgeous!!! i main tracy so :)) my dream s tier is red riding hood!!

i headcanon galatea to be really shy when it comes to romantic stuff, and tracy to be obliviously blunt about it all! 

galatea would be really nervous and embarrassed to do things like, hold tracys hand in public or kiss her, but tracy would be oblivious to the things that may make that awkward or embarrassing, and go for it without any fear <3
