My hot take is being realistic ALL the TIME could lead to one’s downfall. Sometimes taking a leap of faith is mandatory in order to achieve something. There are things logic and "reality" cannot show us. Sometimes you have to dream and to imagine. I hate how as a society we value being realistic because then so many people fail to be happy because they think that reality=boring/sad/serious. How many people have given up on their dreams because it wasn’t serious or realistic in their eyes? How many people have put up boundaries and rules that have ruined their chances? Don’t listen to those who are afraid of seeing beyond. I feel you need to take a risk and not always follow what is deemed as the logical choice because it could ruin so many things.

I always find it surprising how so many women’s feminism is centered around begging men to treat us better or appealing to some perceived core of compassion in men, that would hypothetically make them deconstruct an entire system build around women’s unconditional servitude of them. 

Rather, I feel like feminism should aspire to create independent communities and networks by and for women, so that instead of begging men for scraps, or a seat at their table, we will not be at their mercy anymore. Feminism should not be about pleading to men, but rather to educate, free and unite women so that our lives are no longer isolated and under men’s control.

i also feel like no matter who idols date it wont ever be good enough for their fans so its almost like people dont want them to be happy bc they arent happy if that makes sense? its got quite sad really and i dont blame celebs for dating privately bc if they go public they know hwat going to happen or itll cause an internet meltdown, i cant imagine the chaos when bts get married and surprise surprise it wasnt to bts army. but i do think the idols s/o has to like their music to some extent maybe just not the crazy extent. its so much less abt the music nowadays in general more so that the person in question is someones obsession or object. ik we have all been down that road at some point but in 2024 id expect idols to be able to date freely or go to clubs or do the fuck they want with their personal lives.

just read ur kpop post and honestly its bc many kpop stans are both young and expect the idol in question to be theirs, just like how karina broke up with her partner bc of the hate she received even tho they only date for 5 weeks. its got ridiculous, the internet is so toxic nowadays theres barely anything good about it and their fan bases obsession and posessiveness about their idols has got so much worse but then theres the other side where idols dont have to do much to receive hate either so it never ends

its like kpop stans dont want to admit itll never be themselves that gets the shining armor that is le kpop idol, maybe some idols will have foreign fs but even those cases will still receive backlash bc its how it is in society, the fans wont be happy with whoever their idol dates or has around them besides the members who probably wont get to experience actual happiness anyway due to the way their fans practically will stalk and harass the members and their s/o's so theyll have to keep it totally private

I agree honestly. I also think many people who get into kpop are people who need an escape from their daily life. It’s usually the same for fans of pop culture. I think that, that in itself is okay to some extent but these type of people you mentioned cross the line way too muchh. It’s saddening because, they probably have a future s/o of their own, they probably can experience happiness and true love outside of the fantasy that they created. I feel like it’s unfortunate to be so obsessed with a fake life when they could make their real life just as good and genuinely live it. These idols have lovers but so do the fans. Obsessing over celebrities and attacking their s/o won’t get them anywhere, in my eyes.

I fear there’s not much we can do except call them out. Though there’s many of them, there are also kpop stans who remain respectful after all. Which is encouraging!

Hi I haven't been posting on here in a while because what a growing number of people expect from tarot readings is very odd and bizzare these days. Many questions make uncomfortable, and theres alot of readers who even encourage the weird ass questions too. I honestly think many people get into tarot, start selling readings without having any standard of whats appropriate and end up in the deep end. Theyre immature or lack ethics. And yes ethics matter when it comes to tarot readings, you have a responsiblity to be careful about what you say and what questions you accept. the increase of people wanting readings on celebrites and crushes theyve never met not just from personal readings but pacs as well is concerning. Its weird. Why are we enabling peoples delusional parasocial attachments

It’s definitely going to make less noise than the first one that’s for sure. I don’t think the public will necessarily appreciate the second show, it’s weird because there’s this theme of holding back and being alone in this spread so it’s probably gonna be criticized for it’s lack of understanding of the message that the first one sent? It’s like "you guys lost the meaning of the first one" "who wrote this?". I also think the sets,makeup,effects and stuff of the sort will be praised/appreciated because of the king of pentacles. To me it shows that the budget for the show was probably very expensive and it’ll probably be seen in the season. Like very extravagant, very big and bam bam idk how else to explain it lol. I also wonder if there’s not some kind of mindset that the writers have which coincidentally affect their work. Like they’re restricting themselves too much, they’re too afraid of doing something new which will end up backfiring because people will be disappointed they haven’t tried something more daring? Mostly in the storyline/dialogues. They’re probably gonna use the same mechanics that they’ve used in the 1st season because they are too scared to try something new. There is a lot of pressure on everyone who’s working on this project and it can be seen through that spread. I don’t think it’ll necessarily be hated when it comes out but more so forgotten? Like "squid game 2? Eh it was fine" yk?
