What is a mild hybrid? Is it better than a full hybrid?
Are you ready to switch to hybrid – but realize there are so many types of hybrids that it’s hard to choose? While doing your, including mild hybrids? You may be wondering ‘What is a mild hybrid?’, but don’t worry because Toyota of Orlando is Making it Simple™ for you. Let’s get into it.
Tumblr media
What is a mild hybrid?
Let’s answer the big question ‘What is a mild hybrid?’. (Spoiler alert: it’s not that different from an Orlando Toyota full hybrid). Mild hybrids use a small electric battery and electric motor to help reduce your gas consumption. They also use regenerative braking to help charge the electric battery.
Mild hybrid vs full hybrid: How do they differ?
Okay – so what does the mild hybrid vs full hybrid comparison look like? They both are electrified cars. But one will save you more money in the end.
Full hybrids have a larger battery and electric motor than mild hybrids.
Full hybrids are capable of powering your vehicle for short distances at very low speeds, using their electrified abilities, which mild hybrids can’t do.
Full hybrids cut down on emissions more than mild hybrids – the electric motor can sometimes power the vehicle by itself.
If you’re looking to save more money, full hybrids are definitely the way to go because they give you a lot more savings on gas. While mild hybrids will cut your gas costs,  it’s not nearly as much as a full hybrid, like a 2024 Toyota Prius.
Test drive a full hybrid today at Toyota of Orlando
Thinking about getting an Orlando Toyota hybrid? We want you to step into one soon. Come see us at Toyota of Orlando with questions and take a full hybrid for a test drive to see how you like it. We’re open until 10 pm every night at 3575 Vineland Road, just off I-4 near the Mall at Millenia!

2024 Subaru Forester vs Toyota RAV4: Which is better?
There are so many options on the market and it can get convoluted -everything starts to sound the same. We’re here to make it simple by comparing two great options – the 2024 Subaru Forester vs Toyota RAV4. Let’s get into the details.
Tumblr media
2024 Subaru Forester vs Toyota RAV4: The cost
When deciding which car you want, you want to stay within your budget but also get your money’s worth.
Between the 2024 Subaru Forester vs Toyota RAV4, you’re going to see that the Forester’s starting price is a little cheaper at $27,095, while the Toyota RAV4’s starting MSRP is $28,675. But which one is more bang for your buck?
This Orlando Toyota has lower ownership and operating costs. Maintenance on average costs $63 less, while typical repairs are also cheaper. Here are a few examples: :
$79 less for a starter
$253 less for a fuel injector
$216 less for front struts
$140 less for a water pump
$110 less for a muffler
Also, when you purchase any new 2024 Toyota, including the RAV4, you’ll get 2 years or 25,000 miles (whichever comes first) of complimentary scheduled maintenance. This saves you a lot of money on oil changes, tire rotations, and more. Subaru doesn’t offer any complimentary scheduled maintenance for its new cars.
It also might be easier to simply purchase a Toyota as there are twice as many Toyota dealerships than Subaru dealerships in the country. This also means it’s that much easier to find a Toyota service center for repairs and auto service.
Many reports show that Toyota is more reliable than  Subaru.
For reliability, Consumer Reports ranks Toyota first, while Subaru is ranked seventh.
For long-term dependability, J.D. Power ranks Toyota above average, while Subaru is ranked below average.
Finally, you get fewer choices when you opt for the 2024 Subaru Forester vs Toyota RAV4.
If you’re looking for a hybrid, the Forester doesn’t offer any and it only comes in six models. Even though there is a rumor going around that the Subaru Forester might come in a hybrid, there is nothing confirmed as of right now.
The 2024 Toyota RAV4 comes in 13 models, including seven hybrid options.
And if you’re looking for a plug-in hybrid, the RAV4 offers an option: the RAV4 Prime. We have options here.
When you first see the price of a Toyota, you may have doubts as the difference is $1,580.ut if you want something that’ll last longer and  save you money on car care - you’ll end up saving more purchasing the 2024 Orlando Toyota RAV4.
Tumblr media
Forester vs RAV4: The performance
If you’re looking for an SUV with speed, here are some things to consider when looking at the 2024 Subaru Forester vs Toyota RAV4:
The 2024 Toyota RAV4 offers both all-wheel drive and front-wheel drive, while the Forester only comes in all-wheel drive – which isn’t bad, but just something to consider.
Both of these SUVs sport 2.5L 4-cylinder engines under the hood. However, the performance is a little different.
The Toyota RAV4 gets 21 more horsepower than the Subaru Forester.
The RAV4 produces 8 more lbs.-ft. of torque.
Which is faster – the Forester or RAV4?
Well, the RAV4 is faster – it goes 0-30 mph in 2.8 seconds, 0-60 mph in 8 seconds, and 0-80 mph in 13.5 seconds, which beats the Forester in all three categories by a couple of seconds.
Something to definitely consider is fuel efficiency, so here’s the 2024 Subaru Forester vs Toyota RAV4 fuel efficiency breakdown.
The 2024 Toyota RAV4 gets 27/35 mpg.
The 2024 Subaru Forester gets 26/33 mpg, so you’re going to pump gas a little more often.
And don’t forget about the RAV4 hybrid – it gets 41/38 mpg, which drives up your fuel efficiency.
The RAV4 offers a wider suspension by inches, has better cornering capabilities, and has a quieter cabin thanks to its new chassis.
This new Toyota SUV has larger tire options than its Subaru competitor for better traction, as well as larger wheels for better handling and brake cooling.
If you’re looking to tow heavy, you’ll be able to with this Orlando Toyota SUV – 3,500 lbs. This Subaru SUV maxes out at 3,000 lbs.
Last but certainly not least, this Orlando Toyota has more stopping power. It has larger brake rotors and a stopping distance of 161 feet at a speed of 70 mpg – the Forester takes 181 feet to come to a stop at the same speed. That 20 feet difference can save you in a rush.
Tumblr media
Forester vs RAV4: Which cabin suits you better?
For cabin space, both SUVs can seat up to five people comfortably and have an easily accessible cargo area. You can also opt for different colors and multiple trim options. But, which cabin space is bigger – the Forester or RAV4?
The Orlando Toyota easily wins when it comes to a larger cargo area – it offers 37.6 cubic feet of space, while its Subaru competition falls short with just 28.9 cubic feet of space.
The RAV4 also offers the option of a hands-free liftgate with foot activation, a feature that is not offered on the Forester.
Forester vs RAV4, which offers more features?
The RAV4 takes the win, again, by offering power windows that auto open and close with one touch of a switch, automatically adjusting windshield wipers, optional air-conditioned seats, Qi wireless charging, and a 115-volt a/c outlet. The Subaru Forester doesn’t offer any of these features.
The RAV4 offers you more creature comforts and efficiency features when you’re out on the open road.
Tumblr media
2024 Subaru Forester vs Toyota RAV4: The safety aspects
Safety is certainly something to consider when purchasing a Orlando SUV. Here’s the breakdown when it comes to the 2024 Subaru Forester vs Toyota RAV4:
The Subaru Forester only comes with the standard backup camera, which is good. But the new Toyota RAV4 offers a birds-eye view of the car and the standard backup camera. Why have one when you can have both? The more safety, the better.
This new Toyota in Orlando has a secondary collision brake, which automatically applies the brakes in the event of a collision to reduce further damage. You won’t find this feature in the Forester.
Rear cross-traffic alert is found in both SUVs, which is amazing, but the RAV4 takes safety to another level with the Parking Support Brake to help prevent a crash when you’re reversing near traffic.
Toyota is known to top the safety charts and it does not disappoint when it comes to the safety ratings between the Forester vs Toyota RAV4.
The RAV4 has a higher NHTSA safety rating for frontal crashes and side-impact crashes
The IIHS rated the RAV4 safer for its side impact test
Stop by Toyota of Orlando to see the RAV4 in person!
When it comes to the 2024 Subaru Forester vs Toyota RAV4, which one will you choose for your needs? If you want to test drive a 2024 Toyota RAV4, come on down to Toyota of Orlando! We’re open seven days a week at 3575 Vineland Road, just off I-4 across from the Mall at Millenia. Call us to schedule your test drive at (407) 298-4500!

4 reasons to get the 2024 Toyota GR86 TRUENO Edition
Toyota is revving its engines for the 2024 Toyota GR lineup - and a new trim is being added to the 2024 Orlando Toyota GR86 lineup: the TRUENO Edition (it means ‘thunder’ in Spanish). Many Toyota fans are excited about this trim because it celebrates its throwback design - the Toyota AE86 from the 1980s. But, what does this trim have that makes it so special? We’re going to make it simple for you.
Tumblr media
What we love about the 2024 Toyota GR86 Trueno Edition
#1: The design – and its throwback features
The Toyota GR86 TRUENO Edition features retro two-toned paint and ‘TRUENO Edition’ badging. As said earlier, it is styled like the Toyota AE86 as an homage to its 40th anniversary. The Toyota AE86 was a part of the 5th generation of Toyota Corollas from 1984 to 1987 and showcased sporty liftback styling, pop-up headlights, and an angular hood.  But, it also has a modern look with its 10-spoke 18-inch black metallic wheels, a black duckbill spoiler, the black TRUENO graphics on the side panels, and two paint colors to choose from - Halo or Track bRed.
Tumblr media
#2 - See what’s inside
We talked about the exterior – now it’s time to go inside this Orlando Toyota’s cockpit. When you go inside you’ll see that it is extremely comfortable and easy to manage with the low-slung, driver-centric layout with the push-start button, 8-inch touchscreen audio system with 8 premium speakers. You’re going to be sitting in Ultrasuede sport seats with red leather, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, special all-weather floor mats with ‘TRUENO’ badging, and red-stitched shift gear.
Since the beginning of time, Toyota has been all about safety – and it doesn’t stop at this Orlando Toyota sportscar. It comes standard with Active Safety Suite with Pre-Collision Braking System, Pre-Collision Throttle Management, Adaptive Cruise Control, Lead Vehicle Start Alert, Lane Departure Warning with Sway Warning, and Automatic High Beams.
Tumblr media
#3 - The speed.
Toyota has never failed when it comes to reliability - and if you want to go 0-60 mph in just 6.6 seconds? You’ll be able to with the 2024 Toyota GR86 TRUENO Edition. This Orlando Toyota sportscar can do this with its naturally aspirated 2.4L FA-24 engine – the horsepower is 228 and the torque is at 184 lb.-ft. It also has rear-wheel drive and comes in both a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic transmission.
The 2024 Toyota GR86 TRUENO Edition has special perks – and even if you aren’t able to get it on your hands, you can add it to any GR86 year and/or trim. The special performance package includes ZF SACHS Dampers and Brembo brakes that offer maximized performance. This new package ensures firm and stable steering, maximized ground contact, and a quieter cabin.
Tumblr media
#4 - The NASA membership
The 2024 Toyota GR86 TRUENO Edition comes with a complimentary one-year membership to the National Auto Sport Association – which makes your experience even better. With this membership, the 860 GR86 TRUENO Edition owners (yes we said 860) will be able to receive discounts on NASA-sanctioned events and other benefits – like one free High-Performance Driving Event.
Channel the Initial D car in this new Toyota special edition
Not only Toyota sportscar fans are excited about this trim being added to the Orlando Toyota GR86 lineup - but also anime fans. Initial D is a manga-turned-anime that focuses on the evolution of Takumi Fujiwara where he becomes a downhill racing hero in a Toyota AE86 – which the 2024 Toyota GR86 TRUENO Edition takes stylistic cues from. So, the car has been coined the name ‘initial D car’.

Taking a Look at Upgrades Like Toyota Supra Turbos
Looking for an upgrade? The Toyota Supra is a fantastic vehicle, which you probably know already if you own one. If you’re looking to take your car to the next level, our Orlando Toyota team is here with a guide to Toyota Supra turbos, upgrades, and more!
Tumblr media
Toyota Supra Turbos, Exhausts, and Air Intakes: Let’s Get Into It!
Let’s talk about the performance upgrades available for your Orlando Toyota Supra. Whether you’re looking for a new exhaust or turbo, we’ve got you covered.
Upgrading Your Toyota Supra Exhaust
So, how do you choose a new Toyota Supra exhaust? If you’re looking to improve airflow to the engine, make your car louder, and improve fuel efficiency then an upgraded Toyota Supra exhaust is a great option for you. Here are some factors to consider:
Material: You want to choose a quality material for your exhaust. Stainless steel is rust resistant and can withstand high temperatures/corrosion. If you’re looking for a cheaper and lightweight option, aluminized steel is a great alternative (just not quite as durable).
Piping diameter: This is important because if the piping is too narrow or wide it can affect performance and how exhaust gasses flow.
Installation: You should check that the Toyota Supra exhaust you choose doesn’t involve welding and that it fits the model you own. You can always talk to one of our Toyota of Orlando auto technicians if you’re not sure.
Tumblr media
Upgrading Your Toyota Supra Turbo
Here are some things our Toyota of Orlando team suggests you think about when choosing a Toyota Supra turbo:
Decide what horsepower range you want. You don’t always need the biggest turbo option available - consider your specific vehicle and what your traction/engine can handle.
Consider the thermodynamics involved. The last thing you want is to increase temperatures to the point of damaging your vehicle or engine.
Be careful when choosing your compressor. When choosing a Toyota Supra turbo, you’ll need to ensure the compressor is efficient when pushing air into the engine’s cylinders.
Upgrading Your Toyota Supra Air Intake
The Toyota Supra air intake system basically uses air to create more power. By combining airflow tubes and an air filter, the Toyota Supra air intake system will be able to push more oxygen into the engine. Here’s what you should think about what you choose your Toyota Supra air intake system:
2 types of cold air intake styles
Short ram makes accessing the air filter easier
True cold air intake needs more fabrication and plumbing
Cold air intake is preferable for the Supra because cold air enhances combustion
Choose a Toyota Supra air intake that works for your specific model and year
You want to go for heat-resistant materials to ensure air stays cold on its way to the engine
Straight hoses are more efficient than curved hoses
Ensure your Toyota Supra air intake system is weather resistant and protected from water (water in the system can lead to engine failure)
Get info on Toyota sports car exhaust, turbo, and more at Toyota of Orlando
Ready to upgrade your Toyota Supra? Call or visit Toyota of Orlando today. We’re conveniently located just off I-4 near the Millenia Mall at 3575 Vineland Road, and you can reach us seven days a week at (407) 298-0001.

Gearing Up for the 2024 Toyota Land Cruiser to Make its Way to Orlando Toyota
We’re so excited that Toyota has decided to revive the iconic Land Cruiser SUV! Toyota of Orlando is here to let you know what to expect from the 2024 Toyota Land Cruiser when it arrives next spring.
Tumblr media
You may remember that in 2021 Toyota released the last Land Cruiser model, which was a large luxury SUV. It had a super sleek and sophisticated design with great off-roading capabilities and featured a 5.7L V8 engine. The negatives of this vehicle were the lack of fuel efficiency and the high MSRP - more than $80k. The 2024 Toyota Land Cruiser will have some major differences and improvements - here are some of the biggest elements:
Bigger focus on off-roading functionality
Not as “luxury” as the 2021 Land Cruiser
MSRP around $50k range
i-FORCE-MAX turbocharged 2.4L four-cylinder hybrid powertrain
The 2024 Toyota Land Cruiser: What to Expect
Here are just a few details that our Orlando team knows about the 2024 Toyota Land Cruiser so far!
Global TNGA-F body-on-frame made from extremely strong steel, giving more rigidity to the chassis
4.4 inches narrower and 1.2 inches shorter than 2021 model
Three different models - the Toyota Land Cruiser, Toyota Land Cruiser 1958, and Toyota Land Cruiser First Edition
i-FORCE MAX engine will get 326 horsepower and 465 lb-ft of torque (plus better fuel efficiency)
Full-time four-wheel drive system with center locking differential and electronically controlled two-speed transfer case
Let’s Talk About the 2024 Toyota Land Cruiser Design Features
Smaller interior - 5 seater with a moonroof instead of 8 seats like the 2021 model
New technology including the latest Audio Multimedia System with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, connected services, and over-the-air updates
12.3-inch multimedia monitor and 14-speaker premium JBL sound system
Each model will have a different interior - from fabric choice to SofTex to leather-trimmed seats in multiple colors
Unique heritage badging, round headlights, and new paint colors such as Wind Chill Pearl, Trail Dust, and Heritage Blue
Sporty, boxy exterior with RIGID lighting and 18” alloy wheels
Toyota Safety Sense 3.0 system with blind spot monitor, rear cross-traffic alert, and hill start assist control
Tumblr media

The top things that kill your car battery
It's a pretty terrible feeling when you go to start your car and get... nothing. The car won't start, nothing turns on, and you know then and there that your car battery is dead. If you can't get your car to jump-start, you may have to shell out for a tow and either way, you have to pay for a new car battery. Our Orlando Toyota service experts are here to help - check out these common things that kill your car battery and how to prevent them.
Tumblr media
#1: Your alternator is done for. Your alternator is the part of your car that charges your car battery while you're driving. If it's not working properly, it's not charging your car battery. This shortens the life of your battery and will eventually leave it dead. Be sure to check your alternator routinely when you bring your car to Toyota of Orlando for auto service.
#2: You have a parasitic draw. When your car is running, your alternator is charging your battery. When your car is off, it's not - and if you leave a light on, it can cause a parasitic draw from the battery where that light is pulling power. This can leave your car battery dead and you stranded, so be sure that all lights are off and all doors are firmly closed when you exit the car.
#3: The connections are bad. Over time, your battery connections can be jostled loose as you drive. They can also gather grime and corrosion. Either way, this can cause issues with your car battery and prevent it from working properly. Be sure to clean and inspect your battery regularly (our Toyota of Orlando specialists can help you with that).
#4: The weather is extreme. Extremely hot and extremely cold weather can both have a negative effect on your car's battery, shortening its life. If you live in an area with extreme weather, be sure to check and replace your battery as necessary to ensure a successful drive time.
#5: You're not driving far enough. Remember how we said the alternator charges your car battery while you drive your Orlando Toyota? If you're not driving long enough distances, your alternator isn't getting the chance to charge up your battery. If you have a short commute, be sure to take a longer drive once or twice a week to give your battery a chance to charge up.
Have questions about your car battery? Call Toyota of Orlando today. We're open seven days a week at (407) 298-0001 and we're conveniently located just off I-4 near the Millenia Mall at 3575 Vineland Road.

The best cars for dogs
Shopping for a new ride and looking for something suitable for your four-legged friends? Toyota of Orlando is here to help - check out this quick guide to shopping for the best cars for dogs.
Which features make the best cars for dogs?
Tumblr media
Here are the features we recommend you look for when shopping for an Orlando Toyota that's suited for dogs:
A spacious cargo area. It's likely that if you have a larger dog, you'll be situating them in the cargo space of your SUV. (Never the trunk of a car or the bed of a truck, just FYI.) Make sure you choose an Orlando Toyota with a spacious cargo bay so there's plenty of room for a crate or carrier.
A durable interior. SofTex and leather interiors aren't the best bet when it comes to the best cars for dogs. Their nails can easily scratch the seats, even if there are seat covers in your car. Consider going with fabric if you're concerned about the level of durability.
A low ground clearance. If you're not able to lift your dog into your car, you need a car that they can jump into. Having a low ground clearance makes it easier to load pets, especially if they're larger, heavier dogs that need to make the leap themselves.
So which of our new Toyotas are right for the job? Here are some of the best cars for dogs in our lineup:
Toyota RAV4
Toyota Highlander
Toyota 4Runner
Toyota Camry
Ready to get into the driver's seat with your four-legged friends? Call us today - we're open seven days a week at (407) 298-4500.

The Nintendo and Toyota collaboration on the new 2024 Toyota Grand Highlander
Gamers and car connoisseurs are harmoniously holding hands with the new Toyota and Nintendo collaboration with the Toyota Grand Highlander. Toyota and Nintendo made the coolest decision to collaborate on a concept version of the upcoming  2024 Toyota Grand Highlander and Toyota of Orlando has the details.
Tumblr media
What’s with this new Toyota/Nintendo collaboration?
To envision the 2024 Toyota Grand Highlander, just imagine the 2023 Toyota Highlander, the epitome of a road trip ready car with the space available – but bigger. The ultimate upgrade to your road trips. Passing time can be hard, so why not do it with a Nintendo Switch. That is exactly what inspired Toyota and Nintendo to pair up for the concept car. It was unveiled to the public at the Chicago Auto Show in early February and features a Nintendo wrap on the exterior and a huge screen, gaming console, and additional speakers in the interior. This is the ultimate gamer’s dream – especially the nostalgic gamers, like us.
So, we, unfortunately, will not see the concept car anytime soon at Toyota of Orlando. But, Toyota is giving a Nintendo prize pack to 500 Grand Highlander customers when this new Toyota SUV hits dealerships in 2023/2024. Here’s what we know:
500 lucky winners will receive a Nintendo Switch OLED Model System with a vibrant 7″ screen for better gaming and detachable joy-con controllers so players can game anywhere
They’ll also receive a Mario Kart 8 Deluxe game, a paid Nintendo Switch online membership, and an expansion pack membership

The most picturesque holiday road trips to take this winter
The winter season is a beautiful time to take a holiday road trip, and we've not only got the right 2023 Toyotas for the job but also advice on where to take them. Here are some of the most picturesque holiday road trips in the U.S. to take this winter.
Tumblr media
#1: Burlington, Vermont to Jackson, New Hampshire: This road trip is straight out of a Hallmark movie. You'll see sparkling snow and idyllic red-covered bridges as you head through the White Mountains and you can make a pit stop in Bretton Woods for sleigh rides, ice skating, skiing, and snow tubing. Once you arrive in Jackson, you'll see why it's one of America's most inherently "Christmas" towns. Take the Journey to the North Pole train to see Santa and his elves.
#2: Key Largo to Key West, Florida: We're in Florida and there's no way we're leaving the Sunshine State off the list. You won't see snow or evergreen trees on this road trip, but you will see palm trees wrapped in lights and blue skies and have balmy warm weather to enjoy. Check out a sunset sail for breathtaking scenery and walk along the historic waterfront to see decorated boats in the harbor.
#3: Phoenix to the Grand Canyon, AZ: If adventure sounds like your cup of tea on your holiday road trip, check out the route from Phoenix to the Grand Canyon. Phoenix has a festive Tumbleweed Tree tradition with a lighting ceremony and Christmas parade. Once you're done with the festivities, you can head north to the Grand Canyon and hit all the hiking spots along the way. If you're lucky, you'll see snow on the North Rim of the canyon.
Ready to hit the highway for a holiday road trip? We can help you find the right 2023 Toyota for the job OR prep your ride for the road. Call Toyota of Orlando today at (407) 298-0001 or stop by and see us at 3575 Vineland Road, just off I-4 near the Millenia Mall.

Best Toyota cars outside of the U.S.
Here in the U.S., we know which Toyotas are the most popular. The Toyota Camry, Corolla, RAV4, Tacoma, and Highlander are all consistent best-sellers. However, some of these models aren't as popular - or even available - outside of the U.S. Toyota of Orlando is here to give you a brief rundown of some of the best Toyota cars outside of America - check it out!
Tumblr media
Mexico: In Mexico, the best Toyota cars boil down to just one - the Toyota Hilux truck. This versatile truck is similar to the Orlando Toyota Tacoma in its capabilities but is even more durable than its American counterpart. It actually used to be for sale in the U.S. but was retired and isn't in production here. It's actually one of the most popular Toyota cars in Latin America altogether, especially in Mexico, Brazil, and Argentina.
Australia: The Aussies also love the Toyota Hilux, but that's not the only best Toyota car in the country. Other popular models include the Toyota Corolla and Toyota RAV4, giving people a nice blend of versatility.
Europe: Many of the best Toyota cars in America aren't even available in European countries. Over there, Toyota fans flock as a whole to the Toyota Yaris hatchback (especially the new GR hot hatch) for its speed, sporty performance, and eye-catching exterior.
Canada: Our neighbors to the north love the Toyota Camry, Toyota Prius, and at the top of the list, the Toyota Corolla. The best-selling car in Canada is the Honda Civic, but the Corolla is only 333 units behind and closing the gap fast.
Want more info about the best Toyota cars in America? Call Toyota of Orlando today. We're open seven days a week at 3575 Vineland Road and you can reach us at (407) 298-4500.

Haunted places in downtown Orlando
Spooky season is over, sure (for some of us) but that doesn't mean the ghosts hang up their hats and call it quits. Today we're talking about some of the most haunted places in downtown Orlando so next time you visit us, you can take your new Toyota on a haunted tour of the city.
Tumblr media
#1: Hamburger Mary's: This popular bar and burger joint is supposedly haunted by the ghost of a little girl from the 1800s. She likes to skip up and down the street and wave at patrons, and sometimes even tap on the windows to get their attention. Here for it.
#2: The Kress Building (now Kres Chophouse): This fancy Orlando steakhouse doesn't just serve delicious meals - it's also serving up scares. Rumor has it that the entire building is haunted and you can see apparitions, hear ghostly footsteps, and more. It's a paranormal hotspot for investigators.
#3: Greenwood Cemetary: It seems almost obvious that a cemetery would be haunted, and this one is no exception. Visitors have reported seeing ghostly children playing, random lights, and even Confederate soldiers marching. It's Orlando's oldest cemetery and houses some of its most famous previous residents.
#4: Ceviche: Ceviche may be closed, but the ghosts didn't vacate when the owners did. Visitors report seeing a 19th-century woman standing in front of a mirror and a priest that paces outside the building, as well as feeling ghostly hands pulling at their clothes.
#5: Lake Eola: Lake Eola is the center of the city of Orlando and hosts festivals, concerts, and more, and apparently even the ghosts like it. A ghostly brown terrier supposedly haunts the lake's eastern shore.
#6: Orange County Regional History Center: This one is argued over often, but supposedly, this Orlando building is haunted by the ghost of Ted Bundy. He was tried there and found guilty of the murder of Kimberly Leach.
We're sad spooky season is over, but we're always down for a ghost hunt - visit Toyota of Orlando today at 3575 Vineland Road, just off I-4 near the Millenia Mall!
