Sorry and Goodbye!

Sorry I haven’t been doing anything on this blog :( i had a great idea for the story, but i never went through with it, and i haven’t really been talking to much with the other 2 moderators, @randomcatgirl1 and @missusalmighty. So I think im gonna just leave the group, mostly, because I have other things I want to do

There's already a Bugtale made by Fluffbird and Flubberberry. Can you please rename your AU to insect tale or something among those lines? Since they did make Bugtale first and all.

Yes, me and the other Admins/mods already know about the other AU, and I would have to talk to them about renaming the AU

Concept art for my OC Topaz’s Bugtale form. Shes and mix of HoneyBee, Hornet and Dragonfly. She defies the laws of aviation like Bees do. She also venomous like a Hornet and moves fast like a Dragonfly.

I would like to hear what you guys think of her Bugtale design.

Sorry for the quality -pats her scanner- it’s the best it can do and its WAY better than my cell’s quality.

Anyway! We have here Bugtale!Sans from @thebugtale with Spider!Sans from my AU Spidertale! I just liked so much the idea of this two meeting, I have a few sketches that I will be doing them on sai later on, but it was much easier to paint them with pencils really.

Spider!Sans(or Mans as I ike to call him) likes cute lil things so its no wonder he is all smiley with this lil guy here. Hope its ok >3<

Maybe it has. We’re not claiming to be original or the first to have this idea. Heck, no idea is original anymore. We’re just having fun. That being said, if there’s a Bugtale out there and if there’s an artist working hard behind it, we invite them to come talk to us! We would be more than happy to collaborate, credit or promote them if so! This isn’t a contest! :) It’s just for fun!

How long was your Bugtale made?

Do you mean to ask when we created it? If so, that was what, a few days ago? Maybe a week ago. It all started with @cinidorito‘s Swap Sans in a Bow series, and it kind of just escalated from there during one of my streams. xD

In the future, maybe send the Bugtale-related asks to @thebugtale so all of the au’s contributors (myself, @randomcatgirl1 and @salamanderart) can see and answer it. :) This is a group project, after all! I’m just the fool artist who started this awful trend.

Hello there! I must ask! How big/tall are the monsters? Like, are they small like 5-7 inches or is it more like normal size?

Mod Papyrus: I like to imagine they’re their regular sizes, but with all the Bitties around, small inches-tall Bugs are possible too. I’m not the one in charge of the story canon, so you’d stay tuned for follow-up from Random or Sal to get their imputs on the matter. :)

Random: I see them as being bug sized, Since frisk is a bug catcher it would make it all the more adorable.

Sal: I would think they’re probably small, but compared to other insect monster, they’re regular sized, if that makes sense? Like uh, Everyone would be smaller than Frisk, but Papyrus will always be taller than Sans, even if lets say maybe the insect he’s based off is smaller than Sans’s (im not sure if it is, thats just an example) Although, I may or may not change my interpretation of that later?? Im not really sure because when i start working on a story idea, it will change, probably a lot. (Also, If you’re asking about this because your wanting to know how tall to draw them or something like that, I really don’t carehow tall you draw them, tol or smol either is fine with me!)
