Hah! Some muscles, huh? You’re going to have to convince them that I’m alright to leave the hospital, then. I’m fairly sure that they think I’m more than a little bit off my rocker. Apparently I’ve been out for quite a while. They actually had no idea who I was, but now that I’ve told them, there’s been some issue with verifying who I really am. It’s a little bit beyond me, I think, but they aren’t letting me out, and let’s just say that the usual tactics aren’t exactly working right now.

Considering the fact that the arc reactor is a highly developed fusion power generating device which provides energy without consuming anything in return I would say... nope. I don't think it gets very hungry.
