What was love to a phantom thief?
He knew himself the love he's experienced– the love of family, the love of friends, the love of treasure – but there were still many things he didn't know despite the teachings of his master. And even then, there would still be more to learn about things unknown.
Take you, for example.
At first, you were but another stranger in his eyes, but then you had said something – did something. There was a glint in your eyes, a hint of something so unkowable in you. One thing led to another, and he realized that he had put you under the light of his consideration – his acknowledgement.
You were so different to him, so strange, so mysterious. Your actions, your mannerisms, your movement, he found himself being more intently noticeable of them. It was like he had been put in an escape room of you, solving puzzles and riddles left and right as he tried to figure out what made you catch his attention – what made you so special to him – hoping that in the end he'll get his prize, the treasure he's searched for, an answer.
What was love to a phantom thief?
Love was the way Silver Heart patted him on the back, proud and beaming as he had graduated becoming a full phantom thief. Love was the way Queen would sigh in exhaustion and fondness as Spade and him fought against trivial things. Love was the way he grinned as he once again performed a miracle with the treasure in his grasp.
Then – there was you again. And it clicked.
Love was banter, hot chocolate and cheating at pillow fights.
Love was sneaking through halls hand in hand, evading guards under dim lights.
Love was chatting on the roof, swinging legs over the city under a moon-kissed night.
It was the way your eyes pooled with affection, softening and lips curling into a smile as your hands brush against his scar.
Love was you. Beautifully, utterly, and indescribably you.
Joker loved you, he realized – the moment he had was unremarkable.
All he knows was that in one moment in time, the night shined for you, and something clicked.
The final piece, the last riddle, a finished puzzle, and finally, his prize, his treasure.
Love was beautiful, but love is also tragic.
There are flowers in his hands. They are your favorite. He remembers them. Joker used to surprise you with them a lot for your birthday. Your reaction was always the same, but it never failed to make him smile.
He's older now, more mature even. Though Spade would never consider the thought. His friend had gone on off and married his assistant, good for him. Hachi graduated and became a fully fledged phantom thief. Queen is still living with Master, who had finally retired from being a phantom thief. He's still the same old Joker, stealing treasure and performing miracles.
Even now, as he places those flowers on a headstone your name is on it, Joker can't help but smile at the memory.
"Happy Birthday." Joker mutters, soft as the wind.
He loves you, he realized too late.
But that was okay.
"I love you too."

President D is my favorite Antagonist, because he is so slay. I love his glow up. I don't like that he wastes food though. I
My favorite underrated character is Ginko because I just really like her! I like to think she's fun and wild off work since she used to be a race car driver I think. Also that she enjoys coffee too much.

What’s your least fav kaitou joker character and why?
👏Love people asking me questions so-
first, i absolutely hate jason from "The Great Escape from Demon's Heaven" episode. there is no conceivable way someone would look that ugly. this bitch better be an orphan because then i would feel bad for the mother for giving birth for such a monstrosity.
second, i FUCKING hate the fake joker crew. ESPECIALLY fake joker. there is a reserved place in hell for this man because not even the devil himself can stand him. I am absolutely repulsed by his very existence and would have preferred Rose kill them on sight.<3
finally, i hate doctor neo. not because he's an antagonist but because my sympathy overrides my thinking of him being a villain. characters who are old and frail activate immediate instinct for me to feel bad and i can't hurt them:(( but doctor neo is still a bitch so-

i'm curious to see your kaitou joker fanfic. How does your ocs got their kaitou outfits? Their home base?
Oh I'm glad you asked:DD
Spirit had stitched up their outfits for them so that they can participate in the Idol Grand Prix episode!!:D Their home base is honestly a mystery, where they put their treasures is still being figured out by the police, but they like breaking into Joker's ship for fun and I think that's close enough.

Recollections of a Writer is still a work in progress because I cannot currently update my genshin impact and I am so utterly scared of all of you<3 i didn't want to disappoint all of you with a half-assed fic if all of you expect it so much! I have not given up on the fic! I am just currently switching between fixations at light speed until I have enough storage on my computer to update genshin impact!
