Drive Thru - Brendon Cowles, Shane Kuhn, 2007

I really like this movie. I had been planning to watch this for ages and just found it a few days ago. The plot follows a girl and her friends as they’re slowly hunted down by the spirit of a heartbroken boy with a taste for greasy ass revenge.

Turns out clowns got so much shit goin on. Personally, I really liked the outfits in this movie. My favorite was one of the early scenes where the main character’s band was playing and the bass/guitar (I can’t remember which one) player had a tube top and arm warmers.

My favorite character was Horny the clown. A parody mascot for a parody of a more adult McDonald’s. His weapon was like a meat cleaver type thing and he wears fuckin platforms. He can run in platforms, dude. That’s a little badass. I also just think he’s kinda hot but that might just be me tbh.

The movie also has a strange obsession with bringing up politics?? There’s no need for it in a majority of the scenes it’s brought up in. It’s weird but whateva

6/10. Crappy early 2000’s movie I’d rewatch whenever I’m bored and unsure of what to watch.

Creep - Patrick Brice, 2014

This movie. Was pretty damn good ngl. I mean obviously it’s a bit cringey because it’s about a literal CREEP but like. Damn it was so good

The movie starts with someone getting hired to film the day of a man who is supposedly terminally ill. He’s told that all he has to do is film him for the day so he could have a movie to show his unborn son in case he doesn’t survive the illness. The person filming him agrees, yknow, thinking it’ll be easy and what not. So he’s filming this guy take a bath and the dude’s like “oh this is tubby time” or whatever and it’s really awkward but yknow it’s his job he agreed to this.

The guy filming goes to grab a coat to go out, and finds a wolf mask and it’s a whole jumpscare. The guy he’s filming then decides, “yknow what? Imma show you this wolf mask!” And so he puts on the mask and he sings a lil song then they’re on their merry way. They go to this like. Heart shaped lake and they sorta play around in it for a bit before going to a diner. There, they admit something to eachother and then go to the guy’s cabin. The dude with the camera is creeped out and ready to go home but he’s convinced to stay for a drink.

They sit down, have a drink, and the guy admits that the wolf mask he had was actually used to assault his wife after he had found her searching for b3ast1al1ty videos. Now the guy filming’s really disgusted. The guy he was filming falls asleep and get s a phone call. Some not very silly things happen but the guy recording manages to get home. The guy gets shit sent 2 him before the guy he was filming asks 2 meet up one last time. And then he gets killed.

And then it ends with another lil bit from the murder.

The end!

5/10, not my thing, but not super bad.

The Black Phone - Scott Derickson, 2021

!!!Spoilers!!!

Ho boy! I might be a little biased with this one!

The movie itself was amazing! Honestly loved it. One of my favorite movies ever! I honestly really loved the mix of a slasher feel with paranormal! It was wonderful! Finn’s dad deserves no redemption idc what you say he’s a stupid bitch and I want him dead. Anyways Finn slay!

So like it starts off with uhmmm uhhh Bruce and Finn playing baseball and then Bruce just a home run and then he gets kidnapped and like a bunch of other kids get kidnapped and it’s not so slay but like yeah 😇😇

And then Finn gets kidnapped but he like kills the Grabber so that’s neat ig but like anyways the grabber also kills his brother so like that’s interesting

Kinda hate Vance but that’s because I link him to someone I dislike but he was pretty cool! Bruce was neat, Robin was pretty fuckin gay, so was Finn, and the other kids were neat too ig. That one kid wanted to be special appearing floating in midair. Just call like a normal person holy fuck.

Yeah so uhmmm uh yeah I love this movie 😇😇😇

10/10 would recommend

Three From Hell - Rob Zombie, 2019

Imma be honest with you chief, I have no idea what happened in this movie. Something about prison? And apparently Otis and Baby are related to Foxy the pirate so that’s cool ig.

Also Cutter died from lethal injection. I think. And Sid Haig passed. Rest his soul

Otis delivers some pretty nice one liners but tbh he’s still a little piss baby so f*cm him

Baby is still as gorgeous as ever! Love her sm

Foxy is. Alright. I think

Listen I tried to watch it but physically struggled to pay attention

4/10, the series should’ve ended at the second one

The Devil’s Rejects - Rob Zombie, 2005

Personally if you ask me, the trilogy should’ve ended here

The movie starts off with scenes of the firefly family sleeping in their own separate rooms, when suddenly cops come up, and cause chaos to erupt. RJ gets fatally shot, Hugo is nonexistent, Tiny is out, Mama Firefly gets arrested, Otis and Baby escape, and Captain Spaulding is getting the ride of his life.

Soon after escaping, the Firefly family’s dirty little secrets are revealed to the world. Spaulding is of course worried about it. Baby calls him up and tells him to meet at their safe point. They then murder a group of musicians and, in true Otis fashion, someone gets their face peeled off! And unfortunately for the man’s wife(girlfriend? Idk I forgot), she now has a mask!

A maid finds her later and she ends up running onto the road and going “SPLAT” because of a semi hitting her.

And then Spaulding, Otis, and Baby (once again, the HOTTEST character), go to Spaulding’s friend’s house. And like. Shit happens. Charlie (Spaulding’s friend) dies. They almost die. Turns out some cop guy was out for revenge after they killed his brother. Also mama firefly is dead.

Cowabummer, dude.

Anyways, as always, Baby is the cleanest and prettiest, Otis is. Ugh, and Spaulding is sorta clean?? His make up is smudged as hell tho.

Tbh, 6/10. It wasn’t my cup of tea, but it was a neat movie.

House Of 1000 Corpses - Rob Zombie, 2003

House of 1000 Corpses is a movie released in 2003 and directed by Rob Zombie. It’s about some teenagers stickin their noses where they don’t belong and ultimately, paying the price fir it! The main focus in the first movie is around Otis B. Driftwood (the B stands for bitch), Baby Firefly, and Captain Spaulding!

Otis is pretty greasy and icky, and quite honestly? He wouldn’t get bitches even if he asked for consent.

Baby, on the other hand, seems to be much cleaner. She’s seen dancing and lip syncing to Betty boop whenever she’s performing. She is definitely the cleaner of the bunch.

Captain Spaulding is. Well, he’s Captain Spaulding.

Otis and Baby’s SIBLING relationship is definitely explored further on in the second two films! Though Otis clearly acts like a dick, he’s definitely got a bit of love for the two other family members he ends up leavin with.

Baby firefly is gorgeous.

Overall, 8/10 experience. -2 taken off due to Otis existing
