**Using the word ‘said’ is absolutely not a bad choice, and in fact, you will want to use it for at least 40% of all your dialogue tags. Using other words can be great, especially for description and showing emotion, but used in excess can take away or distract from the story.

TW: partial nudity, gross tags, Tumblr bots sexually harassing people again
Has anybody else been seeing a crazy amount of pr0n bots using tags from our fandoms lately??!??? I've been getting at least five of these posts a day, and it's getting exhausting reporting all of them.
I'm fine with adult content, but when it's being shown to you without warning and with the impression that you are looking at something from the fandom, it feels gross and like, indirect sexual harassment. Yk??
This sh*t is actually so triggering to me, and I don't know how much longer I can deal with it.
