I'm so happy to have a chance to spend time together with Zojja again!! I can't wait to see how she matured and what really happened to her in these 10+ years (only 5 for me tho). Also, asura = best race so of course i'm happy to have a cool asura as my next story partner in SotO! U_U9

I decided to make a sketch of her.

One thing I noticed is that Zojja keeps trying to correct herself when she calls us Commander, as she's trying to get more used to the title the Astral Ward has given us.

Except for when she's upset about what's happening to Mabon. At that point, she automatically uses Wayfinder, but then deliberately switches back to Commander, and she continues to use Commander whenever she's distraught.

Because the Commander is the version of us that she knows and trusts, the friend who tore through Maguuma to save her.

If she comes out of the ascension ceremony and immediately calls us Wayfinder, I'm not even lying when I say I'll break down in tears.

Anyone else think it's kind of... cultish that people are Ascended as wizards by "leaving their old self behind" and losing all the most important and defining of their memories. I'm glad zojja found a home, and I guess since it's being used in fiction it's more of an allegory for getting to choose who you want to be in life, but idk something doesn't sit right with me about her being encouraged to give up what could very well be core aspects of who she is as a "solution" to her pain and grief and a way of becoming a full member of the group that's currently acting as her family
