Lucien’s hands wrapped around the iron bars, the cold biting his skin. He dismissed the pain—his grip on the metal tightened, in fact, and he leaned in closer. Close enough to meet the creature’s watery, shining gaze. “Where. Is. She.”
The guard laughed, an ugly, raspy sound that left an echo in Lucien’s ears. “Far away from you, lordling,” he spat, his breath like claws, eagerly scratching on his face.
Lucien’s jaw tightened. He was going to have to commit a very gruesome murder.

The happy laughter and the playful bickering that filled the room mixed with the sounds of the videogame they were playing should be something you're used to. It was a sound that you heard every friday night since many years and you couldn't imagine what it would be like to be sitting alone on nights like these.
However, tonight - something unfamiliar seemed to butally squeeze your heart as you walked up the stairs to deliver the snacks and get more drinks. Seeing the three of them sitting on your bed, shouting at the tv, pushing shoulders, you felt like choking up, the burn behind your eyes, quickly blurred your sight.
Confused at the suddeness of it all, you stopped in your tracks and looked at the trio from the door.
Armin was trying to dodge Eren's attacks of him trying to steal his consoler while Mikasa looked at her friends, laughter rolling from her tongue.
''You're using cheatcodes, I just know it!'' Eren practically whined at this, trying to snatch the joystick away but you could see the wide grin plastered on his face as he practically climped ontop of his best friend. Armin shrieked at that, falling over and landing on his back against the soft sheets you put on last night.
''How would I do that in this game? That's impossible, Eren.'' Armin chuckled, hitting Eren on the head with the consoler he tried to take away. Mikasa however, grabbed the one Eren put down next to him before he crawled over to his best friend.
''I dont know. You are Armin. I know that you know you're stuff.'' Eren flicked his forehead before he sat up, looking back to the screen. then to Mikasa, seeing her totally concentrated trying to keep the car on track, the tip of her tongue sticking out.
Armin this time, finally handed Eren the consoler and sat next to his friend, watching the other two race. Adding sound effects whenever he felt like was needed. The shout of joy and the way Eren threw his hands in the air when he won, was always endearing to you and you could see the smile on Mikasa's face aswell. Not bothered at all that she didnt manage to win this game, and you could guess she was also just happy she could be here with her favourite souls.
Seeing this all happen, made you want to cry out of sheer happiness. Seeing your closest friends just having a good time together ,nd you swallowed the lump that formed in your throat, entering the room atlast.
They all looked up, Eren's eyes lit up at the sight of snacks , standing up to help you put them on the table that was standing between the bed and tv. ''I was just about to see what took you so long.''Eren said, popping in some salty snacks into his mouth before he turned to you. ''Thinking you slipped on some crackers or something.'' He added after swallowing however once he saw your red, swollen eyes, telling him that you actually did cry, alarmed him immediately and his smile dropped, grabbing onto your shoulders while asking what was wrong.
This naturally caught the attention of the other two, hearing the worried tone in Eren's voice aswell, they quickly looked up and you couldnt help but to let the tears escape once again, letting them roll over your cheeks. Shaking your hand while managing to choke out you were really okay, you did pull Eren into a hug though and called out to Armin and Mikasa too. ''Come here, I want to hug you all.''
Melting into your embrace after the surprise of suddenly seeing the tears and being pulled into your embrace, you could feel his body melting in your arms and wrapped his own around you aswell.
Not long after that, Mikasa and Armin too just wrapped themselves in the sponaneous group hug but they didn't mind at all, although they too were worried about the sudden display of sadness you showed, or so they thought.
Pulling away, you managed to choke out how happy you were to just have them by your side, how grateful you were to see them exactly like this. Seemingly free of worry and just simply living as it is.
You did not care if it made sense, you just knew you felt it. Somehow the three of them, seeing them together with no worries written in their eyes, was something your heart longed to see.
''O-ofcourse.'' Eren stuttered, feeling his own heart squeeze at the feeling of love you poured out, just like that. ''I wouldn't have it any other way.'' he continued, laying his arm over your shoulders and pulled Mikasa to his side as Armin too grabbed onto your hand, aswell as Mikasa's.
''Please, never change, right?'' Armin squeezed your hand, quoting the words you managed to say a lot to them.
''Right.''
''You know we'll stay. "Mikasa added, pinching Eren's arms to stop him from messing up your hair more, you didn't really mind he did and just messed up his hair at the same time.
"Just happy you are happy." you softly muttered before clearly adding how you would drag them back by their ears if they ever decided to be dicks.
The three of them laughed loudly at that, Eren throwing his head back as he does so with Armin rolling his eyes and Mikasa grabbing onto her ears instinctively.
"Got it. Loud and clear." Eren saluted you, placing a quick peck ontop of your head. Armin turned around, smoothing down his hair, you also messed up for him and jumped back on bed, motioning for Eren to take some snacks. "We know you will." Armin didn't forget how you literally pulled Eren's ear whenever he was too stubborn to listen.
Bringing the snacks with him, Eren sat down next to Armin as they picked up the consoles once again, Mikasa stayed close to you, insisting she helped with the drinks.
Yeah, this was life. Simply as it should be.

"Neon's Parents...and Brother"
Meet Neon's father, Cho Soobin, mother, Jang YeEun, and brother, Cho Sooho. Plus some extra doodles of them.
Soobin and his family can create balls of light. Some can project their light or use it in unique ways. Kinda like how Tatiana can make balls of fire, the Cho family can make balls of light (or other shapes potentially if they try hard enough)
YeEun's family can create pictures in mid air. A kind of illusion magic similar to Eve's except it is all visual and has no affect on reality. It is used a lot for entertainment which is how YeEun met Soobin.
Neon does not have any of the markings that his parents have while Sooho has a combination of both. But both kids have a pretty drastic eye mutations (Neon having heterochromia and Sooho having a white star pupil).
