i'm fluently bilingual and do switch between english and portuguese in conversation, so it does feel realistic for a character to do that, but it's down to personal taste when i like it or not

oh but it does ruin the friendship. ~the angst commences~ imagine him toying around with someone, only because his own life is so difficult to control and he’s sick of it. he’s sick of his life being so unpredictable and troubled, so he resorts to using someone else’s to play around and have fun with. he’s the puppet master and the poor person just takes it because they actually love eddie💔💔💔he wants to kiss them one night (because he feels particularly unlovable that day so what better way to release the pain by inviting his ‘friend’ over) and tells them exactly that, “a little kiss wouldn’t hurt our friendship”

so they kiss. and it all goes to shit. they go off on eddie, “i can’t do this anymore! you’re playing with my feelings and it hurts me so much…do you have any idea what you’re doing to me?! i can’t stick around you anymore, i’m out of here,”

and then eddie is left to think about what he’s done.

anyway sorry for the random story, i was just thinking about it cuz i sure love me some angst <///3 and i think it’s interesting to look into a side of eddie that wouldn’t be particularly likable. lmk what u think tho. do u think eddie would come to develop actual real feelings for this person? would he even apologize at all and would it even work out?

i'm just gonna put a read more here so that this isn't a long post, and clickable link here to the referenced post!

I also really like the whole 'unlikable' kind of characters thing, and especially with Eddie's background, I always think that him serving those sorts of motifs produces very fascinating storylines. Canonically he has such strong redeeming qualities, that I think giving him some bad qualities never seems all that terrible, plus its just fun and interesting to read! In terms of how it would end, in my opinion, I think it definitely depends! Sorry thats kind of a bad answer but it could go so many ways? Like in some scenarios it could be the catalyst to them getting together, but it also could be the catalyst of things going really wrong if Eddie isn't willing to change. I also think that if Eddie were to pick on someone it would be because he already likes them to start with, so he would have to go through a lot of internal processes to come into his own, and eventually be able to move forward for sure!

Side note— I've actually been working on a sort of 'morally grey' characterization so I'm interested which ending is your preference? Like angst angst or happy ending? (my thing's already written, I just haven't had it in me to edit it, but spoiler its kind of like those movies where nothing happens but everything changes, but also nothing changes? very unproductive storyline but I think that in itself is valuable because life follows that storyline quite frequently).

I read a fic before kind of like your story so i just went for a deep dive looking for it lol I think you might like it! You can click here for it :) This one is from Eddie's pov so theres a lot of his internal processes, and I think it's just a good read.

Another fic that comes to mind is a series. It's a bully!eddie three part-er (i think) with a pick your own ending (which i think is soso cool and you don't see very often), so maybe you'd want to check that out too! Link is here for that one! I also like how this one gives a preface to why Eddie becomes a 'bully' and I just really like the story in general!

sebastian kent, zach clarke, jess hart, moira afzal, carmen wu and grace, all for my cosy (ish) supernatural horror story that i wrote because of a pinterest board i made lmao (in all fairness it was a very good pinterest board)

i actually don't think i do rn! the first thing i do when i create an oc is come up with a very vague story idea for them – the exception to this is my childhood ocs but i think i've already put all of them in the arinia stories so

sic semper tyrannis and i keep getting to 10k words and then changing the plot and starting again!!!! argh

odikleios (temporary name): ok so there are 2 main settings. odikleios is this tiny village in a valley among massive rocky mountains. walk through a narrow mountain pass and you reach this huge abbey where scholars and musicians live and work and also where 'strange' children are left. (i'll put an extract from it down below)

dwightgar: it's set in a country called arinia. arinia is a bit of an enigma. nobody knows what the fuck is going on. it's magical and near utopian. except when it's not <3

lots of fiction and lots of poetry and not much else. i do have a couple of short stories in the making tho!! oh if you include art in general i am a musician (i play the flute and sing) although i dont really write songs

also can i just say that i would d word for miss y/n and I WILL STAND BY HER SIDE AND I HOPE SHE DOESNT GO WITH HIM ON THAT TRIP AND I PERSONALLY HOPE U MAKE JUNGKOOK SUFFER BCAUSE GOD WAS HE JUST A MANIPULATIVE ASSHOLE THE ENTIRE THING (the whole time i was just thinking GOD HES SUCH AN ASS CAN SHESERVE THEIR DIVORCE PAPERS) i really felt for yn bcs i could imagine being known as just the "wife of" must be so miserable. i was so happy for her when she did that shoot with Tae, u could really tell she loves modelling and i truly hope she pursues it in this fic 🥲🥲 oh goshhh i love her so much. i didn't like jungkook AT ALL in this part but im sure he would get like a character arc or something on the later parts bcs even tho atp i want them to divorce lol i still think their issues could be sorted out. (i actually kind of teared up a little bit on the first s*x scene on the table when jk asked her "are u gonna miss me" and then she thought "i miss you everyday" but didn't say anything instead it was so emotional for some reason. miss ma'am just wants her husband to come back to her but idiot prick over here thinks everything can be solved thru his money. oh god i hope he realizes that him being an overly workaholic is not doing any good in their relationship)

This is gonna be funny because I don’t think I really love any of my works… but anyways here goes…

Better late than never — my very first piece of writing on here!! (I say on here bc I had an old blog where I wrote, but we shall not talk about that). I really don’t think it’s good at all (I remember writing this in the notes app bc I wanted to write it real quick) but seeing how I improved in my writing since then is just really nice to see (plus it’s gonna make the rest of my works look better LMAOO)

And They Were Roommates — Probably the first long fic that I wrote that I was actually proud of! I really liked the dynamics between y/n and Donghyuck in this for some reason. It was also probably the first e2l fic that I wrote so it’s special to me in a way,,, the trope is hella hard to write well, so props to the writers who do it easily! This one got a bunch of attention, which I was very happy with.

Eight Count — Another long e2l fic that I wrote!! I actually really enjoyed writing this one and I was so happy with it,,, I think I did a better job of easing into and building the relationship compared to the Hyuck one (MORE GROWTH WOOHOO), so i think that’s why I was actually happy with myself during the process of writing this one. I do think it’s sorta underrated though, but still happy with it nonetheless.

Into My traeH — My first Enha fic! It’s the typical ‘woah, wait I have feelings for you that I didn’t know of?’ trope, but the Hogwarts setting made it a bit more magical (ba dum tss),,, this one’s simple but I found it hella cute so I’d easily recommend this one for the fluff of it.

If and If II — This two-parter got SO MUCH attention, which I really didn’t get because I don’t think I wrote it well enough for the attention it got (like genuinely), but I guess the idea of the story really appealed to people, which I get. Part one, to me, is ass, but the second part (which I wrote like 10 years later) was written so much better. I’m just plopping this in here because it’s a 'fan favourite' and it gave me a lot of motivation to write and improve more!

Sneaking these in ;; Meant to be (Broken) & All I Want — Ones that are short and simple, but sweet heehee,,, these are those ones that aren’t too short, they’re just to the point and fluffy and are just shots of serotonin! These ones got me giggling when writing them cause they’re so cute so why not add them

@harbingerofheartbreak - yet another moment that i was shocked when she asked to be moots (man, i really am a fuckin loser, huh? /pos) honestly one of the most, if not the most, talented writer i know. the grammar they use is immaculate whilst also being still comprehensive,,, the way they show emotion is picture perfect,,,,,, and to say that way she writes stories to flow so well it blows me away is an understatement!!!! if they released a book id be the first to buy /hj,,, but aside from their amazing talent, they're also so so so sweet too! v supportive of others work, and wont hesitate to be the sweetest ever!!! aaaa i love em sm :)) <33 /p

@gh0st-b0ys - a huge issue i have w myself is that i often think im too annoying, by ghostly never made me feel like that. id post something absolutely idiotic, and still get happy when they would like it!! didnt matter what it was, as long as i get a like from them, everything is alright :)),,,, also they said that they idolized me?!?2!1?1?1??1?!3?1!!?2! wtf!?2!?!????????!1!1?! /pos waaa i cant express into words how happy that made me feel.... i idolize people all the time and to know that someone is like that towards me makes it sm easier to get out of bed. and even tho we havent had a lotta interaction between each other,,, i just wanna let em know that theyre insanely cool :Dd

@pebblebrainlovejoy - proud to say i watched them grow 💪💪💪💪 i feel like a proud older sibling whenever i see their blog. i remember seeing one of their newer works (cant remember what it was but at the time it only had like 2 notes) and i thought "this is actually amazing,, this persons gonna blow up, i swear." and they did!!!! and im so so so proud of them!!!!!1!!1 honestly, i love seeing their blog on my dash and it makes me the happiest whenever i do. absolutrly amazing writer as well!!! i respect them not only as a mutual vut as a writer definitely. cant even describe how happy their work makes me,.,,, like its amazing,, i would recommend it a thousand percent to people absolutely <33
