Monkey D. Dragon in his twenties~
Not a teen anymore, but young enough to shock some barkeepers.
I just wanted to see if I can work out some similarities to his son when I draw him younger and some features really made it through, it seems |D
Like what you see? More fanart here:

In the last two days I have walked into the room to see my dad watching something with an actor from Stargirl in it. Twice.
I think this is the universe telling me it’s time for a rewatch.

i'm from italy, we don't have school uniforms but as for food and money there was never even a question of schools providing it... it's kind of crazy to me that they do that at your school, it's a really good thing!!
wow, that's absolutely crazy to me. i do teach in a very deprived area, but also, our staff really do care so much about our students. there isn't a single teacher or manager or support staff member there who wouldn't give the coat off their back to a child who needed it (in fact, in the winter, we did a drive and brought in all of our unwanted coats to provide them to children who were freezing without proper winter protection). it isn't even seen as a negative thing by the students - it's so common to need assistance that they aren't embarrassed to ask, it's pretty normal, which is great.

Moe Howard is the stooge you're thinking of, but yes! I see both. It's mostly just the fact they both have that bowlcut. I wouldn't be surprised if that's the case to what inspired his design or not. we'll never really know.
Either way, his appearance is still iconic and memorable!

Doodle I did when I should have been sleeping. In the original Beauty and the Beast Beauty’s mother is a fairy, assumed to be dead but later found alive (also Beauty is adopted by the merchant who raises her). Anyway, I really liked the idea of taking that for Belle’s mother in the Disney version, and shaking it up.
So my backstory for Belle’s mother (I’ve been calling her Gabrielle after the woman who wrote BatB) is that she was a fairy who gave up her immortality for the man she loved, later succumbing to a mortal illness, (along with her younger daughter Clarice) but leaving a loving legacy behind her. Maurice never knew she was originally a fairy (she’d been visiting him in mortal disguise) but always knew she was special.
Also the Enchantress who curses the Beast was a friend of hers, and keeps an eye on Belle, realizing later she could be the one to help finally break the curse and putting events in motion behind the scenes to get her to the castle when the time is right (as implied in the old Marvel BatB comics)

I'm glad there is apparently no more conflict between us but I can't help but be bitter. Why couldn't you be there for me, be supportive and listen to me when I was still a kid desperate for attention and praise and approval. I appreciate your support now but I am furious on behalf of that poor child who would do anything to have this kind of parent. As an adult I'm thankful for your help but my inner child will never forgive your absence.
I mourn the person I could have been if this support had been present from the start instead of after I'd been kicked out.

I'm pissed at HBO sidelining Laena and Laenor. They were so intent on giving interiority to the Greens, why not flesh out the characters of the House they chose to racebend? And how tf do you waste a goddess like Savannah Steyn on only ONE episode?
Right?
I suspected as much when none of the Laena and Laenor actors (teenage or adult) were part of the promotional campaign for season 1 but it turned out even worse than I thought.
Even Criston is a more important character than them in the show (screentime and promo wise). It just diminishes their importance entirely. How are their deaths supposed to be impactful for mainstream audiences when hotd barely explores them as characters before they're killed off?!

So is Yellowjackets told through flashbacks or something like that?
