pairing: kim seungmin x female reader

summary: you're the most important thing in seungmin's life, of course his biggest fear would be losing you. it means that taking care of you when you're not feeling well comes naturally.

warnings: a little bit of angst, sickness (fever, feeling nauseous, etc.)

a/n: partially inspired by me being ill at work and my amazing coworkers taking care of me and making sure i didn't faint lol.

Seungmin loves being an idol.

He loves to sing and performing in front of Stays always thrills him. He loves the other members and really, everyone else that he gets a chance to work with. At times it can be stressful, but for the most part, it’s fairly easy to manage the downsides of being famous.

But when he started dating you, he found out that there are parts of being an idol that he hates.

He always thought that he'd be different from a lot of idols and wouldn't be afraid to show his partner off. The second he met you though, he knew he'd do anything and everything in his power to keep you safe. You understand, of course, and do your part to make sure that only your closest friends and family are aware of who you're dating.

It pains Seungmin to do this, but he knows nothing good can come out of your identity being known.

The two of you are more than careful, sometimes Seungmin feels silly with how cautious he is about meeting up with you. Yet somehow his heart always feels like it will beat out of his chest whenever he sees articles that speculate about idol relationships.

You do your best to stop him from stressing, but it’s something that Seungmin can't quite shake. You're the most important thing in his life, of course his biggest fear would be losing you.

The first time his phone rings during a livestream with the whole group, Seungmin brushes it off. The caller ID says it's an unknown number and everyone he knows has been receiving a lot of spam calls and texts lately.

He swipes away the notification and tries to focus on just reading comments when the same number calls back, a couple minutes later. He ignores it again, but on the third call, he nudges Chan’s knee beside him and subtly tilts his phone screen so that Chan can see. His phone is on silent so nobody watching the live should be able to tell that he's getting the calls, but the timing feels too coincidental for him not to be suspicious.

"They keep calling," he says under his breath.

"We'll get someone to look into the number later, just keep ignoring it," Chan advises quietly.

Seungmin takes a quick screenshot of the number, then tries to get back into the conversation to distract himself. The next time he looks down at his phone again, someone is once again calling him.

Seungmin almost reflexively rejects the call, until he realises it's your nickname flashing up on his screen.

You generally don’t call Seungmin without warning, especially not during the day when there’s a higher chance that Seungmin won’t be able to readily answer.

[sent - 3:12 pm]

sorry baby, working right now, can it wait?

His stomach drops when you just call again in response. He doesn’t want to alarm any of the members or the fans when he doesn’t know what’s going on, but he has a bad feeling about this. He once again flashes his phone to Chan briefly and leans in close.

“I want to take this, I don’t know why she’s calling, but something doesn’t seem right.”

Chan bites his lip, obviously torn for a second, before he seems to make up his mind.

“We’ve been live for almost 20 minutes, give me one second and we’ll end it so that you can talk to her, yeah?” Chan puts a hand on Seungmin’s shoulder and squeezes it tightly for a moment before clapping his hands together, effectively ending the conversation that the rest of the members were having.

Seungmin makes himself smile as they all say goodbye, but it's obvious that it's forced.

Even though the live ended as quickly as possible, Seungmin still has 2 new missed calls by the time he’s found himself an empty room to use.

"Hello?"

"Uhm hello, is this Min?" a man asks hesitantly. His voice is unfamiliar and it scares Seungmin. The only thing that brings a little bit of comfort is knowing that you’re careful to never call Seungmin by his full name when talking about him with friends or coworkers, you even have his contact information set as a nickname.

"Who is this?" he asks instead. “Where’s Y/n?”

"My name is Hyunwoo, I work with Y/n-ssi. I’m very sorry for interrupting you, but Y/n-ssi said that you were one of her emergency contacts. We tried to call with another number previously, but weren’t able to reach you."

“Sorry, I generally do not answer calls from unknown numbers. Is Y/n okay?” Seungmin swallows hard, his mouth suddenly dry. “Can I- can I please speak to her?”

“She’s just not feeling well and needs to go home. She’s resting in another room, but I can get her, one moment please.”

There’s a bit of background noise, the sound of footsteps, murmuring, then finally, your voice.

“Minnie?” you ask, sounding groggy. “I’m sorry for bothering you, I know you were working today.”

“Hey baby, it’s okay. You don't have to worry about me. You know that you’re more important than work to me right? I’m glad you got them to call me. How are you doing?”

“I'm tired. I'm okay, just, I was feeling light-headed and have a headache so I can't work. Hyunwoo said he thinks I have a fever.”

“Okay, I’m going to pick you up and bring you home then. Just continue resting until I get there. I'll see you soon.”

Seungmin doesn’t know what he’d do without the other members. As soon as he finishes explaining the situation to them, they’re already calling a car and working out schedules so that there aren’t any problems.

Hyunwoo eyes Seungmin carefully when they first meet, likely due to the face mask and hat he's wearing. When Seungmin removes the mask and shakes Hyunwoo’s hand, he's relieved when he doesn't appear to recognise him. It's not exactly a surprise, men are generally less likely to follow k-pop groups and Seungmin hardly looks like an idol when he's barefaced and in the jeans and t-shirt that he wore for the live.

“Thank you for calling me, Hyunwoo-ssi,” Seungmin says. “Sorry I didn’t pick up at first.”

“It’s okay, Min-ssi. Y/n-ssi mentioned that your work might make you difficult to contact.” Seungmin appreciates that Hyunwoo doesn’t make any attempt to pry further.

“And thank you for taking care of Y/n.”

“It’s not a problem. Y/n-ssi is a pleasure to work with and we all want her to get better as quickly as possible. Come with me, I’ll bring you to her.”

You’re lying in a small meeting room that has all the lights off and blinds drawn. The table and chairs have all been shifted to the side to fit a yoga mat that has been laid out. You squint up at Seungmin from under a mis-match of jackets with your head resting on a pillow that matches the couches that were in the reception area of your office.

“Minnie?” Your voice is soft and a little bit confused.

“Yes, it’s me, Y/n. How’re you feeling?”

Seungmin rushes to your side, crouching on the carpet so that he can cup your cheek. Your skin is flushed and hot to the touch. You reach out a hand and he clasps it tightly with his free hand.

“Mm, I wanna go home.”

“Let’s go home then.”

The company car is still parked outside of your office building, close enough that you insist on walking yourself. Seungmin tries not to hover, but he makes sure to keep his arm looped around your waist so that you don’t stumble. The drive back to your place is fairly short, but when Seungmin glances over you’re looking unwell. Maybe it’s just the dim lighting from the backseat, but you look paler than usual and your eyes are closed.

“You feeling okay?” Seungmin asks, squeezing your hand.

“A bit nauseous,” you murmur.

“We’re almost there, just take a few deep breaths through your nose for me.”

Even though it's only a few minutes before they pull onto the street that you live on, it feels like forever. Seungmmin tries to keep you preoccupied by rubbing circles into your palm. Instead of trying to help you out of the car and into your apartment, Seungmin thanks the company driver and opts to just carry you all the way in.

He helps to change you out of your work clothes and tucks you into your bed. You link your fingers together and protest when Seungmin attempts to leave your side.

“I promise I'll be back in a second, I just want to get some things to help you feel better, okay?” he says, pressing a kiss to your forehead. You agree, but reluctantly.

Seungmin tries to stay quiet as he rummages around your apartment, gathering some medicine, a thermometer, a glass of water, and some crackers. Next he dampens a face cloth and brings everything to your bedside table, folding up the cloth and laying it across your forehead.

He supports you in sitting up slightly to take your temperature, brushing his fingers through your hair as you wait for enough time to pass. You lean into his touch slightly, humming in pleasure when Seungmin switches to giving you a light head massage. When the thermometer beeps, it confirms what Hyunwoo suspected, you have a low grade fever.

“You have a bit of a fever,” Seungmin tells you, keeping his voice low. “Do you feel up to having some water and medicine? It'll help you feel better, I think.”

“Okay,” you say, taking the pills that Seungmin hands you and swallowing them with a bit of water.

“Do you want to rest some more now? I want you to stay hydrated so I can make broth for you or get juice.”

“Do you have another schedule? You don't have to stay and take care of me.”

“I don't have to, I want to. And what did I say earlier? Don't worry about me. I'm not missing anything important.”

“So you are missing something,” you insist, your stubbornness making itself known. Seungmin can't help but find it endearing, especially the way that your bottom lip juts out to form a pout.

“Just vocal lessons. I already know how to sing, so it’s fine. Innie had his scheduled for tomorrow, the two of us are going to swap.”

“Oh,” you say, apparently satisfied by that.

“See, nothing to worry about. Now, what did you want? Broth or juice?”

“Broth,” you decide. “But that means you'll have to leave again. I don't want to be alone.”

Seungmin hesitates for a moment before reaching for something resting on the side of your bed.

“You won't be alone, Daengmo will keep you company, okay?”

Seungmin had gifted the stuffed dog to you the first time he had gone abroad after the two of you had started dating, even though it was only to Japan. You had insisted that he keep it at first, knowing how fond he was of the toy, but he had convinced you that it would prevent you from missing him whenever he was away.

“M'kay,” you say sleepily, wrapping your arms around Daengmo.

“You can close your eyes while I'm gone and I'll be back before you know it.”

“I'm not tired,” you say, although even in the dim lighting Seungmin can see that your eyes are starting to droop. “I'm going to stay awake until you come back.”

“Whatever you say,” Seungmin replies.

He leaves your room, closing the door behind him quietly, and heads towards the kitchen.

Seungmin prepares a couple of pots to make you soup. The first he prepares with some ingredients to make a simpler version of a ginseng chicken soup. He knows it'll take a while to cook though, so he adds water, powdered chicken broth, and ginger to the second. Within a few minutes, the clear broth is ready to serve.

Seungmin scoops a portion of it into a mug and slips an ice cube in so that you won't burn your mouth trying to drink it. He makes his way back to your room as quickly as he can, but careful to avoid the liquid sloshing over the sides.

When he eases the door open, he's greeted with the side of you with your eyes closed, clutching Daengmo tightly. Your breaths are deep and even, although you stir slightly when he sets the mug down on your nightstand.

“I'm here now," he reassures you quietly. “You just keep resting.”

“Thank you for taking care of me,” you say in a small voice.

“Of course, I’ll always be here for you.”

“I love you.”

“I love you, too.”

Na'vi mating with humans headcanons [Poly].

Hello everyone, so I must confess, I have been looking at some Avatar [NOT THE LAST AIRBENDER] 1 and 2 "the way of water" stuff. From fics, to fanart, headcanons, all that good stuff. So here I am reading all this amazing stuff and I thought, "why not put my 2 cents in it?" so while I dont have any fics, I thought I share some headcanons of my own.

Most I have noticed is using either Na'vi reader, or Human reader. And/or both if the author has their person of interesting be an avatar, being in a poly relationship with our two lovely couples: Jake & Neytiri, and/or Tonorwari & Ronal.

And, if it is not a poly relationship, it be a normal two person relationship, that being with either [Tsu-tey, Ronal, Tonowar, Jake, Neytiri, Norm, etc]. Reading all those stories I have begun to list a few things.

In this first headcanon, its going to be as the title suggest, Na'vi with human. If you guy's wish to use some of this stuff as inspiration or ideas for your future fic's, I am cool with it, but please credit me. Anywho, lets start.

Olo'eyktan & Tsahik

(btw this is for any Na'vi tribe in general not just for Tonowari and Ronal)

I feel as the two top leaders of the tribe, having a human as their third mate can mean many things.

Such as: Having a human for a mate shows their rank of status in the tribe. If being leaders weren't enough.

After a long day of doing their duties, they go home happy knowing their little mate is waiting for them to relieve their stress. In more ways than one. {use your imagination I aint going that deep]

Having a human mate will influence how they view the world. The Na'vi seeing their world as its ecosystem as normal as it can get, while the humans see it so different and something so beautiful. The humans may see the same thing every single day but sees it as it was something new to them over and over.

Have a change of paste in life. Talking and sharing things with their human mate is something the leaders look forward to at the end of the day.

The leaders being excited or happy with their human mate wants to know more of something or ask them questions. The leaders seeing it as a sign they their mate relies on them for information.

Speaking of, they enjoy it when their human mate searches for them, having their small eyes only on the leaders and no one else. They can get very protective and if not, a bit possessive should another Na'vi get too comfy with their human mate.

would hiss or give the other Na'vi a warning before shooing them away. Might get a scolding from their human mate but will shrug it off and lead their little human somewhere else.

Should the Tsahik get pregnant, the Olo'eyktan wouldn't be as stressed or worried that their Tsahik is in a vulnerable state. Having their human mate near the Tsahik calms the Olo'eyktan a bit. Since the Tsahik wont be alone.

And if the human is trained in the ways of healing, then the human mate would help the Tsahik if she were to feel morning sickness or dizziness. Giving the Tsahik comfort and a sense of peace.

Assist the Tsahik in duties in which she cannot anymore due to her belly growing. Things that require bending down, gathering plants, and herbs, grinding them, or anything that require lots of energy.

Once the newborn Na'vi is born, automatically, the human mate will be their second parent. Cherishing and nurturing the new born.

when the Tsahik is busing once again with her duties. The human mate will make sure the baby has their needs met, make sure they are clean, fed, and overall comfy with, hopefully, little crying as possible.

Having soft skin brings great benefit for Na'vi baby as they will cling more so the softer and warmer texture. Showing big trust and love to their third parent.

As the Na'vi baby grows, they become attached to all three parents, but will secretly favor their human parent. Since they bring a type of comfort that is different from their other two parents.

Since being the child of the two leaders, they wont have much time to play with their child as much as they want to. So the human mate comes in and plays while teaching showing around the Na'vi baby. Will continue to as the baby grows.

Being a human mate/parent to the Na'vi is something refreshing and somehow brings great comfort to all. Being so small yet have a massive mind and spirit.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaand that is it. I might add more or change of few things. I am ok with what I put but I know I can do better. If ya'll want more or something else, I don't mind. Thank you for reading this!

Ok, ok ok… Can I request Yandere!Dr. Flug x Fem!Reader, please? You describe the reactions of the characters so interestingly that I wanted to write to you, but already about the yandere doctor. Thank you in advance, you are amazing.

Summary: Yandere headcanons for Dr. Flug with a Fem!Reader. General hcs for kidnapp!ng, crushing, etc.

Someone like Dr. Flug definitely seems harmless. Pathetic, wimpy, and afraid. Labels that have been given to him all his life. Labels that only you never assigned him. Well, he's never lived up to those names. Not completely. Underneath his trembling form hid a dangerous man, who could kill you at the snap of his fingers if he really wanted to. Not like he would! You do have to remember, though, that he still is a villain. For plenty good reason.

But, yes. I'm sorry, but the moment he realized his murderous lovesick tendencies, you've immediately set yourself up for danger. Flug would never hurt you, but he's not saying he wouldn't hurt anyone to have you.

With the baseline of knowing he is sick, twisted, and much more than he seems--lets dig more into how he behaves, shall we? He's quite tame with you at first. If you didn't know any better, Dr. Flug would be as normal as ever in your eyes. He's pretty good at bottling up his obsession. This definitely comes into play as his obsession with you grows stronger by the day.

He's unsure of his feelings towards you at first. Dr. Flug soon recognizes it as love, and he can't get enough of you. He begins with small signs, such as asking you for help in his lab when he really doesn't need it. You also notice that he just happens to show up in the same room that you'd walk into. You viewed it as nothing but coincidence.

Flug grows increasingly worried for you as weeks pass, him still relishing in this new feeling. Unfortunately, this feeling did come with a bit of.. protectiveness, on his part. He still wanted you to visit his lab, yes, but.. maybe he could make his lab a bit more safe? Dr. Flug didn't want you to get hurt by something of his creation. The only thing worse than that would be if someone else hurt you. Which wouldn't happen. He hopes so, at least.

One day, though, he made a mistake. Flug had let you go on a mission with him, and a hero had hurt you. Whether it was a major or minor injury, he didn't care. Someone hurt you--your soft, delicate skin, your sweet smile, the sparkle in your eyes.. your eyes seemed dull now. And something in him sparked a fire that was trying to burn for weeks now.

Suddenly, the normally panicked mood that hung over his mindset completely disappeared. He didn't have time to overthink ever little thing he does--not now. But he didn't want to.. strike, not.. yet.

When Dr. Flug gets mad, he gets scary. Not in the way he was almost constantly angry with Demencia, no, this was a.. spiteful anger. That's the anger that made him the most dangerous. As mentioned before, he could choose when he wanted to be dangerous at any moment. And that moment was now.

Euthanasia could work, but it was too.. painless. Maybe something a bit more lethal would be better. He decided to create his own serum. If he injected the syringe with it in just the right spot in the neck, the hero would be suffering for hours. Perhaps days.. They would be gasping for air they couldn't receive, practically chugging their own blood, yet forced to stay awake during the whole process. Perfect, was it not?

Okay, he may have gone a little bit overboard. But in the end, he knew it would be worth it. You never found out. Why would you? He was much too careful for that. Dr. Flug simply played along, hearing the hero's name announced dead on the news with you. He played a fool, acting surprised. And it was enough to fool you.

Afterwards, though, he felt amazing. To completely get rid of someone's existence.. it was freeing. And the hero deserved it, anyway. The only obstacle in the way now was the challenge of having you to himself. With Dr. Flug's self-esteem, this goal was made generally impossible.

Though, a new idea came to him. A horrible, new, great idea. If Flug wanted you to himself, there was only one other way that came to him. There's no way you'd like him back, he was probably still pathetic in your eyes. So instead, he chose the more obvious choice of just whisking you away. Chloroform should do the trick, right..?

Waking up in Flug's dimly lit lab, tied to an office chair, not remembering the past 12 hours of your life was.. an experience. A horrifying one, at that. What did you even do to him that would make him want to kill you? You were nothing but nice to him, and.. part of you was actually starting to grow attached to him. You started to regret ever becoming a villain in the first place..

That was, until Dr. Flug tried his best to calm your nerves, explaining how he didn't want to hurt you. You could almost hear the sorrow in his voice, almost like he was hurt that you would even think that he would ever want to harm you. Noticing you were now significantly more calmer than before, he began relishing in the fact that you were now his.

Off the bat, he begins overloading you with compliments. Now that you know he likes you, he starts treating you like some sort of goddess. Ignoring the fact that he's holding you hostage, he treats you pretty well! He brings you in 3 meals a day from outside, gives you a warm bed to sleep in at night, all so that he makes sure you know he loves you. Another thing Flug does is make sure 5.0.5. doesn't see you. This portion is a bit difficult, but he gets by, and 5.0.5. just thinks you must've moved away. How peacefully ignorant.

For now, he intends on keeping you here until you gain some sort of stockholm syndrome, or until he finds a better place to keep you without the risk of you escaping. You find yourself wondering how long you're gonna last here.

Have you ever scrapped ideas for Sweet & Sour?

Yep!

My process has luckily been more of "transform an idea that doesn't fit" situation for most things, but I'm happy to talk about some of the things that didn't make the cut. Whipping out the notes page...

Lacey was actually meant to be the spotlighted E4 member that gets close to Juliana, not Drayton (hence the focus on her in Chapter 1 & 2). She was actually my favorite at first, and I envisioned her as being a positive, grounding guide for Juliana, and also somewhat of a middle ground influence for Kieran. But then I wrote my spin on the cafeteria scene, and I was like "oh my god wait, Drayton's character is so enticing and flexible, and he's especially fun to insert as an influence in the Kieran/Juliana dynamic". SOOOOOO I quickly decided to pivot and make him the spotlighted one, and have him do more of this brotherly figurer role who was very cunning and comedic. Before I even realized I got overtaken by the iconicism, and now he's just part of my brand in general. Whoops. The "Drayton Being Iconic" tag existed on this blog before this happened so I honestly should've seen it coming LMAO. I do have very important plans for the rest of the E4 and what role they're playing, though :

Don't laugh at this one - it was also early development LOL. I was going to have a party scene where Drayton convinces Juliana to pretend she got drunk (I know) as part of a roundabout and wild way to find evidence that Kieran had a soft spot for her (I KNOW). Kieran was essentially gonna waltz in (to a social event he otherwise never would make an appearance in) and he'd get all flustered as Juliana latches onto him. He would've decided to sweep her away from the party and take him back to his dorm. I ended up scrapping this entirely because while teens do party and all that...yeah, and also we pretty much got the dynamic moments I wanted to portray much better through the chapters where Juliana got sick.

Kieran/Juliana dynamic was also gonna have a moment where Kieran gets it in his head to start flirting with Juliana because he thinks that she’s flirting to get him to put his guard down. And that's where they both kinda were gonna secretly realize their feelings LOL. In hindsight lowkey fire still, but yeah, kinda just didn't have the space for it. We do have flirty Kieran era though, and that's still based.

This one is kinda known already, but originally the Applins were the only stars of the show (hence the name of the fic). I added Ribombee in early on after enough people wanted it and gave it lore/a connection to Kieran and his mother. Before Ribombee was conceptualized, I had different plans for what happened to Kieran's parents (he would still be an orphan regardless).

Briar was originally going to make a "deal" with Clavell regarding getting Juliana to come to Blueberry early, although it wouldn't be revealed until Juliana discovers this later. I scrapped this in favor of something much better because I didn't like the implications it had on Clavell's character, and honestly, only Blueberry is supposed to have the sketchy admin/systematic stuff going on anyways lol.

Kieran was meant to show more obvious signs of sleep deprivation (e.g. falling suspect to illness more frequently, slowed reactions). This idea is still good and realistic, but yeah, ended up leaning more into other symptomology that went well with the toxic chain curse (e.g. irritability, obsessive fixations, self-criticism, overworking himself, fatigue, etc.)

Ribombee was going to sleep powder both Kieran & Juliana in the cave scene of Ch 5. I decided to make it a bit more organic by having Kieran up and reflecting on everything + having Ribombee appearance in a more mystical way. Plus, I thought it would mean more if Kieran & Juliana opted to cuddle up themselves rather than being knocked out. There was a part of me that was worried the dynamic was progressing too fast this way with this change, but it seemed to have landed well! :)

This doesn't really count as a scrapped idea, but related: I 1000% retconned something with the Drayton POV chapters (if ykyk, LOL). But YEP. It's CANON. And frankly it's a decision I personally love that has implications, but also won't screw up the storytelling for where we're at now, either.

There's actually a lot more, too, but like I said: most of my ideas tend to upgrade. And lolololol OMG this is especially true for some major lore stuff. I just don't want to reveal it because I don't want to give y'all hints on where we're going!! LOL.

And also...there are cuter moments I haven't used in S&S and probably won't be able to because I account for what makes sense with the given dynamic. BUT what I do end up doing is taking those unused ideas and putting them into What-Ifs or other stories. There's one I'm particularly thinking of that I was dying to put in S&S D, but I don't think it would trip up the current Kieran as much as it would've in earlier chapters, lol. SO. It's going in The Dichotomy in Our Hearts instead! xD

I may be a little deranged for Yoshiden, just a tiny bit y'know- Yoshiden means a lot to me for various reasons but I'll just put down all my insane ramblings down belowwww [CSM Spoilers if anime onlys/new readers find this post somehow] [Serious Section] -Denji's distrust/disliking for men/straight up internalized homophobia is most likely because of his past abusers being male (the mafia and his father), so if he starts to trust Yoshida throughout the course of part 2 and they end up forming an actual bond, whether it's romantic or platonic, it kind of helps Denji get over his distrust and help him cope with that trauma knowing that hey not all dudes are that bad actually, this guy's pretty nice. (You could say that Beam already did that and they had a good bond too but Beam is... y'know... *finger across neck* bleh... and Denji still emphasizes he wouldn't let a dude sit on him in 104 so...)

-Surprise surprise, I'm in on the bi Denji agenda because I'm bisexual and all my favs have to be bi 😁😁/hj But seriously, bi Denji is a pretty good concept cause aside from getting rid of his internalized homophobia, it also helps him get over/cope with his trauma as I said above. Part 1 was all about Denji learning about different kinds of love (familial love from the Hayakawa family, romantic love from Reze, and the mess that is sexual->maternal->abusive love from Makima, etc etc), so exploring his sexuality in part 2 could be a nice little addition to that. (Bonus points for the new kind of familial love he has for Nayuta now that he's her older brother/father figure; bonus BONUS points if Yoshida's the other dad LOL) [Delusional Absolutely Normal Section] -Yoshida's canonically a pretty boy as stated by another guy, so maybe if Denji stares at him long enough he'll realize guys can be as pretty as girls too and think it's fine to find guys attractive LMAO

-We all agree Yoshida's gay or at least mspec mlm leaning/preference right? Right. -Anyway, I'M A TOTAL SUCKER FOR ONE-SIDED LOVE STORIES LOL I'd like to think Yoshida has coworkers who could've taken the job of watching over Denji but he deliberately asked to do the job because he found him cute back in part 1, though realistically he probably only got chosen for the job cause he knew about Denji's identity already and he's also in high school, but we're not here for realism, we're here for gay people. (Gay people being Hirofumi Yoshida.) (Did you see him at the table with Angel while Denji and Power were talking about barf and stuff? Dude was smiling while listening to them talk about random shit, he probably became interested in Denji then and there; hell, even the goddamn onigiri scene where Denji still eats it after it fell to the ground probably made him go 'woah this guy is sick in the head I'm in love') Back to the one sided thing, the idea of Yoshida being willing to die while protecting Denji is???? insane??? and I love it because it really shows how devoted he is not only to his job but to Denji in general. He's never truly lost his temper at Denji, even when he used his bare hands on the cake, even when he let himself get sat on by girls, and even how he only wants to reveal himself as Chainsaw Man just to get a girlfriend. Sure, he called him hopeless in the recent chapter, but he never raised his voice or fought back. He's always trying to be patient with him even when he's being completely ridiculous. Copypasting what I've said on twitter here: If someone started scooping and eating the cake I bought with their bare hands, I wouldn't just sit there and go "Aaaaaah!", I'd definitely get pissed. Yoshida has FEELINGS for this boy, I swear. He said NOTHING about it. NOTHING. No "Why the hell'd you do that?" or "Dude that's gross" OR ANYTHING, he immediately just goes back to talking about trying to prevent Denji from revealing his identity. If someone I liked, however, would eat cake with their bare hands, I'd just be embarrassed but also find it cute so I'd let it slide. (Tested and proven 👍)

If, miraculously, Yoshida canonically confesses to Denji, he'd probably still pine for him even if Denji turns him down, which he probably will. Yoshida realizes, after being his bodyguard for a while, that he really enjoys Denji and being around him; he'd get too attached to those feelings and still shower him with appreciation even if he knows it'll never be reciprocated. Just knowing that Denji's being given the love he deserves is enough for him, even if Denji doesn't want or care about that love. It's kinda selfish of Yoshida, but he doesn't care, all he cares about is that he likes Denji and he's willing to keep that up until he dies. -Anywayyyyy, even though they're both good in battle they're both absolute fucking losers LOL Yoshida getting thrown out the window is and will always be my favorite scene from him. Denji got called a loser by Asa, so maybe if Denji just turned his head 90 degrees after that rejection, he would've seen another loser and they could've been the most pathetic loser4loser couple in existence, it's great, c'mon Denji just accept you can like men already

Helluva Ride

Going to an amusement park with the I.M.P squad would probably include...

Blitz immediately wanting to go on the most intense rides (and then getting sick afterwards). I think he would love rollercoasters.. Maybe a bit too much. He would also love showing off how good he is at beating the rigged carnival games. Ring toss, the water squirt game, the one where you climb on the rope and see how long you last, the sharp shooter games, you name it. And if he isn't good at it, well, it's obviously the fault of the cheap gun or the faulty whatever thing-a-majig. Would absolutely play the games for the prizes. He'd probably give a couple to his partner or friends. Maybe he'd keep a couple for himself (especially if someone else won the prize and gave it to him as a gift). Takes tons of pictures and loves going into the photo booths. Definitely gets drunk and ends up puking either on a ride or in one of the bathrooms.

Stolas only enjoys theme parks if he's with someone like Octavia, the I.M.P squad, or partner. Generally won't go on rides unless it's the teacups or swings. Other than that, he probably just sticks to treating everyone to snacks/concessions, clothes, pictures, etc. Probably enjoys the bumper cars and does that little "oohohoho" and clap whenever he rides with someone or when bumping into another car. Also enjoys the photo booths and gets the biggest print possible to display in his home. Only likes some of the carnival food/drinks, but will pay for the food that his close friends/partners want. Mostly supplies the funds for the day and enjoys watching his friend go on the rides. He's really just there to connect and have fun. Other than that, he's probably reading.

Moxxie canonically hates theme parks. Won't go on the rides (unless Blitz or Millie drags him on). Would probably stick with Stolas and definitely wouldn't eat the food. I don't think he would like being in such a crowded place where so much can go wrong. Hates any mascots/statues of mascots that are present. Will punch them. See also: shooting. His favorite thing to do is probably the carnival games where he can shoot at stuff. Adores being able to win stuff for Millie. Likely gushes at some of the cute children and families he sees, because it makes him think of what he could've had, and what he wants with Millie. Mox also enjoys seeing Millie in the oversized hoodies/t-shirts that are sold at the giftshops.

Millie goes on every. single. ride. Always sits with Blitz at the very front and screams the loudest. Not out of fear- out of unfiltered joy and excitement. Adores when anyone (especially Moxxie) tries to win something for her at the games. It makes her feel appreciated. If she notices anyone feeling uncomfortable, she'll stick with them, even if it means missing out on a ride. Millie also loves trying the snacks offered by different vendors. Overall, she loves the entire experience and makes the most out of the time she has there. Goes absolutely feral on bumper cars. She also enjoys competition, so you can bet your ass she'll be in some kind of contest with Blitz. Crowds will gather around Millie when she's playing the games and she loves showing off. Wins the biggest prizes possible to spoil Moxxie and her friends.

Loona acting like she hates everything (and lowkey she hates dealing with the crowds) but enjoys seeing everyone so happy and care-free. Especially likes seeing her dad actually letting loose and having a good time. Takes care of him when he inevitably drinks too much. Will also go on rides, but will barely react. Doesn't care much for prizes, but enjoys browsing the gift shops, even if most of the designs are corny. Kills fucking arcade games. Not necessarily because she's good at them, but because if she loses, she'll kick/punch the shit out of the machine. If she plays any of the carnival games, she doesn't put much effort in. Spends most of the time either on her phone or teasing Moxxie.

Headcanons: ROTTMNT Turtles Chirping (and Other Turtle Sounds)🎤🐢✨✨ pt. 1

IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER: If you're actually taking care of a real turtle, please be mindful of the noises they make! Chirps can come from stress, water temp, respiratory infection, etc. Yes, they can come from non-concerning reasons, but just be sure. IRL turtles don't have vocal chords! And also, several of these traits are taken from very different turtle species than our boys here!

Now that that's said, on to the headcanons!

The turtles can all make turtle sounds! Being half-human mutants (with actual vocal chords, teeth, human saliva, etc.) and isolated from other turtles besides each-other, their range/capabilities of and reasons for using these sounds differ— sometimes greatly—from their IRL turtle species counterparts.

The turtles accidentally created their own sort of pseudo-language that they use to communicate with each other. Chirps, trills, hums, clicks, etc. When words won't come out or they don't feel right to use, when traditional ASL— even their modified TSL (turtle sign language)— wouldn't suffice, it's something they easily fall into. Almost as easy as thinking itself.

Besides unconscious/automatic responses + occasional stimming, they hadn't used their turtle sounds as much as they did as kids. They still use it a couple times a day, typically over the dinner table, during movies, or whenever there was a turtle pile. But after Shredder, and especially after the Kraang's attempted invasion, it's something they've began to do more again.

When the turtles still couldn't form sentences, Splinter had went ham on trying to understand what each means. After guides on pet turtle care didn't do much for him, he was attentive and assumed based off their more humanlike behaviors that accompanied these sounds.

Nowadays, Splinter can't really decipher most of the new noises his sons make. He can still understand some smaller phrases: "Happy," "Sorry," "I want my family," "Stay," "Love you," "Scared," "Yes," "No," and "Hungry!" to name a few.

Raph didn't make many turtle noises when he was a baby, mostly making more humanlike ones. Though he did mew a lot when he was sick or if he had nightmares in his slumber. In addition to that, there's a specific low-frequency hum that only the other turtles could actually hear; typically made during sleepy and/or someone stressful moments. It's both an "I'm right here" and "Come here please" message.

Donnie grunted, though it came off more like a huff as a little one. His chirps sounded more like "cht. cht. cht." When he's thinking hard or feeling a little overwhelmed, he'll also emit a low-frequency hum, one only he could hear— unless he's spending time underwater with Leo, then he could hear it as well. He also hissed a lot. Especially on the days where he's clingy. There's 3 types of Donnie hisses: mildly bothered, "you're pushing it," and "I will actually bite you." How you figure out which is which? For Splinter, trial and error.

Baby Leo really worried Splinter because he kept chirping all the time. He thought that Leo had a respiratory issue and/or was under heavy stress from the sewers' conditions. It really didn't help that Leo got sick the easiest. And when distressed, he'd cry out sounding almost like an upset cat— not really helping with the respiratory infection theory. Turns out, Leo just chirped as a general form of communication, especially when he was feeling excited or happy.

Like Raph, Mikey didn't make a lot of turtle-like noises as a baby— but when he grew into a toddler— he did it a lot. He wore his emotions on his sleeve, and almost every sentence with punctuated with an companying sound. Usually clicks or something similar to a "yep!"/"yp!" sound with his beak.

Leo and Donnie were the most turtle-talkative out of them as babies n' tots. Heck, sometimes, the Disaster Twins™ would sometime just mimic each other's mews and chirps out of boredom (to which Mikey would follow suit, and eventually Raph too).

Splinter, Leo, and Mikey are the only ones who've ever heard Raphael hiss so loud and deep that it turned into a growl.

Raphael is the only one who's ever heard Leo hiss pre-Kraang.

Early on into knowing them, April asked about it. The day after they explained it to her, Donnie and Mikey began working on a "guide" comic together for some of the "basics." It's 40 pages long when they give it to April. As the years passed, she catches on pretty quickly to the various sound cues, and she can have short conversations without them needing to use words.

Casey Junior can understand them pretty well due to being raised around them— when he was small, he would try to mimic those noises (to varying results).

He may or may not have almost cried when he was in the Hamato-family-sleepy-pile and could feel the deep, comforting, low frequency sound reverberating from Raph as he and Leo rested against him— something he hadn't felt since he was just old enough to form memories. And he may have actually cried when Leo sleepily chirped back some sort of unintelligible, but content, response. They were peaceful.

the moment i started watching/reading eva rei was the character that intrigued me the most. she had such a magnetic, melancholy presence that always touched me, and the initial journey of discovering her origins made me SO sad i had to explore it.

hmm not much I don't think? the only thing I can think of is something I don't even write and that's the CSA implications in rei's story. It's not something I think would come up much in threads anyway, but I avoid it because bc I wouldn't feel comfortable dealing with it.

oh man, basically everything i do here ! particularly the different relationships Rei gets to develop...i get legit emotional thinking about her slowly realising she matters as a Person and not as an object or an end to a means. I also love writing the dichotomy between her wisdom and her inexperience, because she's very wise and perceptive but at the same time is a child who's very limited in life.

i also LOVE writing hcs and metas!! there's so much to explore i never get sick of it. I haven't posted any of them yet bc i still have to make my thoughts coherent, but i especially love writing about rei's ""childhood"", as in her time as Rei 1. I also wanna write about the difference between Rei 2 and Rei 3 and explore how I can portray that in how I write them.

hmm both, really. when I read a reply from a mutual I find it very easy to pick out lines that stand out to me, which I then try to either incorporate in my response or build on how Rei reacts to it (which is always fun bc she's a very introspective character)

When writing I blurt out whatever comes to mind then spend a while re-wording + rearranging...a lot of the times i get stuck on a particular thing bc i want it to sound a certain way.

But when I can't start working on a reply right away I'll bullet point my ideas or any lines I wanna use then draft it so I don't forget.

I do ! I think at heart I'm very lovey dovey so I do enjoy shipping a lot. Writing and drawing a ship I have with someone makes me very happy, and it's always so fun developing the relationship and seeing how it blossoms. Despite this, I don't have many romantic ships across any of my blogs, but I don't really mind or care because I have so many lovely platonic + familial dynamics that I find just as if not more investing.

For Rei, in general she's not the most shippable. She struggles enough with making friends as is, and has so many emotional and mental struggles that make it difficult for her to connect with others. BUT she's also a sweetheart and always gives her everything into her relationships, so it's fun and very cute when she gets crushes <3

Feel like it could be an interesting twist on his char, kinda got some of those vibes from the park in colors, the full corporate speak and like, trying to make this obviously evil plan look not evil, feel like there’s a lot to be done there

I love love looove it, that's what I was expressing a desire to share more concepts of just the other day. I have some I've been meaning to share but my favorite part is when he finally drops the act and shows his true colors and mocks them for it like a cold hearted bastard so I focus on that most lol. I do wanna delve into the build up more though.

He has indeed done it in various official media already like X, Archie, games, and promo material and I absolutely loved every instance of it. But since I'm a game canon guy primarily I'm just gonna focus on that for this reply, though in the future I'm probably going to share what I liked about the cases even outside them because I appreciate it in many places.

I love how one of the things about how he likes to take things that are generally considered childish like toys, theme parks, carnivals, circuses, etc and has his own twisted fucked up spin on it is how it can also be used to lure people in with the bright colors and usually perceived innocence of it. The times Eggman has played into it is interesting.

With Eggmanland in Unleashed, he was upfront about the hell on earth that it was to Sonic because he knew he wouldn't have believed his trickery, plus he takes pride in the fact. He enjoyed teasing him with the "If you have any complaints, come deliver them to me in person. If you can, that is!" to emphasize that it was the theme park of horror >:)

Plus the atmosphere was a lot darker so despite the neon colors, it probably wouldn't have fooled anyone Sonic or not. But he still had the Eggshop be a thing where horrible sawdust and motor oil tasting food was sold to make it horrible and unpleasant for his sadistic amusement, so maybe he would've hoped to trick people regardless?

We don't get to know for sure there but in Colors he wants lots of visitors and he really had to do some immense trickery make sure it seemed innocent and appealing enough to get them to use a space elevator to travel all the way up there lol. It's a lot more colorful and fun looking than the more dark and polluted looking Eggmanland from afar.

So for the Interstellar Park, the trickery is both in its design and his words with how he pretended it was a happy wonderland of fun with nothing to do with any evil plot or premeditated misdeeds. What I love is how once you've gotten all the way up there in space, you're fucked. You'll get messed up and killed one way or another.

In his PAs when you're actually inside, the act is dropped quick. He lies about some of it being safer than it looks but for the most part? All his lines are brutally honest about how messed up it really is, with the Wisps he harmed, blatantly acknowledges the dangers of the rides and planets, and how they can cause death, horror, and fear.

I love how sadistic he is in the PAs and his morbid humor that reveals how truly sick he is and that this park was created for anything but pure innocent reasons. He intended for the rides to be deadly and food to be bad and finds it very amusing. He probably loves the idea of these tricked people coming in and quickly becoming horrified and afraid.

But it still looks so colorful and fun from afar! It's so beautiful and with the joys he promises, how could you not want to go? So while it works to lure people in, it can also give its true horrors even more impact when visitors expect something nice but the dangerous disturbing and terrifying reality is revealed and I'm sure that's very appealing to him too.

So you get this funny combination of him both trying to deceive you but then quickly becoming brutally honest as soon as you're successfully trapped in it. This is exactly what happened in the SPINGEAR ride too, where he was immediately like "haha sike you're actually in for a terrible time!" as soon as the ride began and was loving it.

But I think the idea of him playing the long game with his trickery and deceit is interesting too. We've mostly only seen cases where it's a lot quicker like that but he's set up well for him to do an elaborate scheme of dragging it out for longer and the impact would hit extra hard after all that time too, which he'd definitely enjoy and mock after.

The Eggman Empire propaganda Sonic Forces promo video was cool because Eggman was trying to convince people the world being a dark polluted hellscape is actually a good thing, which reflects his twisted idea of a "perfect" world shaped his image, where he has the power of the control and the sadistic enjoyment of the harsh conditions.

Then because people obviously need the clean air to live, he tries to trick them into thinking robotomy is a wonderful helpful treatment for it. That never needing to eat, sleep, or think again is a good thing and that they'll love it. When really it's a trick to get them to submit to him, have control over them and strip them of their freedom and free will.

But there's an eerie glimpse at how he really knows none of this right with how he says love is mandatory. Once he's tricked them and they've submitted and given up their freedom and will, he can use them as he pleases and keep them controlled and brainwashed but if they do realize how fucked up it is there's no going back, they're trapped in it now.

I'd really like to see more of that, where he tries to tell people the vile things he does are genuinely great, for their own good, are nice and selfless of him and genuinely beneficial for them. Where he manages to manipulate so well to the point of mass delusion and brainwashing with people that follow him believing he's doing something the right thing.

It's good to be a mindless slave under his control, never having to think for yourself again! Trapping living beings in robots improves upon nature and is better and more beneficial than natural! The deadly attractions are what real fun and excitement really is! The brutal sadistic punishments if they fall out of line is for their own good! There's no meaning to life if it isn't to serve him and the world is better under his control!

And the idea of people actually believing that in the Sonic universe and following him is interesting to think about. Even though it bothers me when people do it in real life and believe his lies and think he actually has good intentions but I mean hey, they give me an example of what it'd be like at least. Eggman really is a good actor, props to him! XD

I have a few ideas I'd like to share in the future. Showing love, care, and false acts of kindness to trick and manipulate, or not even hiding his vile actions but managing to convince people it's good or that the end justifies the means, and have them falling for it and he sees how far he can take it makes it especially impactful and devastating.

Delusion, deceit, manipulation, and gaslighting in general is very fascinating to me after years of experiencing it and I've always wanted to understand it from the perpetrator's perspective and portray it as dark and disturbing as it really is. It's always been interesting for me to explore in Eggman too, from when he's manipulating specific characters to the masses. I've actually been researching big cases of mass delusion in history again lately so this is timely.

Pulling people into the empire with the lie that it's something great that will benefit everyone but their leader has much darker intentions and the true final outcome will benefit only himself, but he strings them along on a lie, brainwashes them, and has control though mind games and trickery is fascinating and thrillingly devious.

Then slowly or abruptly realizing it's a lie and the impact when it all comes crashing down and Eggman spits and laughs in their face and mocks them for having a heart and wanting to see good in him/believing and having hope in good coming from it. It emphasizes his coldness and cruelty and how much of a threat he is even to the mind.

And if that happens he'll try to shut down their doubts and lie more to keep them deluded because he knows just what they want to hear and promises them they'll get it. So if they don't believe it's right, the ends justify the means. And if that doesn't work, he'll threaten them to keep them in so they can't leave, or have them dealt with.

But he's so good at taking advantage of people's vulnerabilities, saying what they want to hear, and embedding lies so deeply into their minds to warp reality into what he wants them to believe that sometimes they may be too far gone and never see the truth. And he takes it to the darkest places, using them all up and harming them and they die in vain.

Every outcome has the potential to be very fascinating, entertaining, and impactful!

Arthur Pendragon/King of Chaos X Reader

I inadvertently deleted the request for this scenario, so here is a short version of it, Arthur with a wife(reader) who has a dangerous magic, consequently, makes her very vulnerable.

Thanks @ultravioletqueen for the order! I've been wanting to write about Arthur for a long time, although I like almost everything in 4KotA (except Loli Guinevere, please take that out).

Character: Arthur Pendragon/King of Chaos

Genre: Headcannons

Warnings: illness (?something like that), sick/weak reader, Arthur himself is a warning now, spoilers for the four knights of the apocalypse manga, mainly Fluff.

There are two ways in which you two could have met (even if it ends in the same scenario).

The first (and the most probable) is that You both met after the anime (that is, in 4kota) and the second (less likely) is that you met during the series, but the first possibility will be used mainly as a reference (apart from the fact that there Arthur is already an adult).

Your kingdom became one of Camelot's greatest allies after the holy war, they were fed up with the other races doing what they wanted with their lives, so they provided Arthur with all the necessary support (be it ballistic or magical, spreading their ideas, etc.).

Thanks to this they gained a certain level in the Camelot hierarchy, and that is where you, the princess of said kingdom, come in.

For as long as you can remember you never knew how to control your magic well, no matter how hard you tried to measure it or take it out, or it was something very small or it almost killed someone (or you), so you decided better to just contain your magic and hope that nothing will happen.

Spoiler, something happened.

And it is that your body could hardly handle the intensity of your own magic while you were growing up, it was like having a container that was too small, and when you tried to release all that pressure you almost killed half of the curt.

As a consequence you were weak all the time from the force you had to exert to prevent the magic from coming out and it still did sometimes, you were so depressed about it all.

And your parents too, they decided to take a chance and use their connection to the king of chaos and find out if there was something, anything, to help you.

Arthur was interested to see this new type of unknown and apparently powerful magic, besides, your kingdom would not be of much use without an heir, so he agrees to see you and try to help you.

Even so, he doesn't admit it, the first time he saw you he felt sympathy for you, having all that potential that at the same time destroys your conscience, he understood it and was willing to see what he could do.

The first few days he came I was accompanied by Merlin, who did a few tests and Arthur made sure that the energy waves of your magic will not affect them.

While Merlin was doing her thing, he would walk around your room/tower and talk to you, quite basic at first, but as you went, showing more of your side without pain, he became friendlier, more sincere.

There were times when he only came to keep you company (because very few people came close for fear of your magic) and in general he tried to cheer you up and so that you did not feel so isolated, it was a breath of fresh air for you, and for him.

Someone so innocent wouldn't have to go through all that physical and emotional pain, It motivated him in a certain way, wanting to change the world for people like you.

After a few months Merlin already knew what you had and how to help you, Arthur was surprisingly happy, considering that at first it was just a means to gain more sympathy, now he felt very comfortable with you and it definitely didn't go unnoticed.

Let's just say what Merlin made was an amulet that drains your magic enough to finally be able to live your life in peace, the happiness with which you ran to hug your parents fearlessly for the first time in god knows how long was just adorable.

It was the moment he realized he was in love.

Going directly to when You two are married, I think Arthur would be very cautious with those who talk to you, many people will see the potential of your magician to be destructive and will want to have her-have you as a weapon, which for Arthur is obviously a big NO.

you are not a weapon, you are his wife, the queen of Camelot.

He will not let you be disrespected by treating you like an object.

He sees you with a Real respect that many people don't show him (with one hand and you have plenty of fingers) but still he can't help but want to protect yourself from everything.

Very affectionate behind closed doors or alone, hugs, kisses, snuggling, everything. If you are the one who initiates the affection it is even better, you will stay trapped in his arms until you ask him enough to leave you or until he has to attend to some real business.

You're just like his favorite stuffed animal, especially if he sleeps with you.

He wants to keep away from everything shady about the "everlasting kingdom" plan, he would be really sad if you come to be afraid of him or even suffer because of him, he sees you as a fragile spirit and he is so afraid of crushing you with the truth.

Usually having those kinds of thoughts just makes me clingier than usual, wanting hugs or saying "I love you" almost out of the blue.

I imagine that there are days when Merlin has to extract the magic accumulated in the amulet, so your pain can return either very slightly or terribly, depending on the day.

In those situations, you are practically forbidden to move or make a basic effort, seeing you in pain overcomes it, so he expects to have it attached to you during those days.

The only thing I'd let you do for yourself on those days would probably be going to the bathroom (no kidding).

All his knights know how to bow to you, not only the heiress of one of his main allies, but also the king's wife, no one is foolish enough to try to hurt you.

Sometimes he'll just sit on his throne with you on his lap telling you about his day (excluding the bloody parts) and probably because of this you know even more about the current situation than many of his trusted knights.

It's slowly turning you into a spoiled person, you literally just have to mention something you slightly liked and almost the next day you have it.

He definitely wants a family, he is a king after all, he needs an heir, but he will wait until you are ready both physically and mentally for that.

For what happens in the manga, you most likely also know about the knights of the apocalypse and vice versa, so just as a precaution Arthur would not let you leave Camelot until he has everything under control with his knights.

When he returns from his first run-in with the knights of the apocalypse, you expected anything but a radiant Arthur, but he just wanted to go to sleep with you (and maybe more than just sleep).

(probably with the residue of your magic Merlin is planning something sinister bastard, I'll leave that to interpretation).

As long as Arthur knows you're safe, happy, and healthy, he can handle anything.

AHHHH OMG i swear every time someone asks me something that i know i know i forget immediately every time 😭

but also hiiiii! idk who u are cuz i've had a LOT of people pop up in my notes these past few days but like, hello!! :3

these definitely aren't all the ones i have bc these literally pop into my mind randomly throughout the day

but uhmmm here u go :D

swiss stuff:

he's actually much more of a cat person than a dog person (he still likes dogs tho)

and like, don't get me wrong- he loves cats in general

but he loves the chaotic, crack head, stupid ones especially

they match his energy and he thinks they're super cute

i feel like he (along with mountain) were the types as kits to bring in random animals like raccoons, opossums, etc and then just carry it around

like bring the animals to [the] papa[s] and just be like "look what i caught! can we keep him?!"

he has a red lava lamp that he once got for christmas from sodo in his room but it doesn't work right bc he shook it up

as a kit, he used to google different ways to prank people and he'd go on chaos sprees (commonly joined by dew as well)

poor rain suffered the most of his antics

he wasn't really close with any of the ghouls or ghoulettes specifically when he was new to them

he still isn't

he loves all equally, even if the others aren't the same way

peed in a sink once when he was high + drunk

mountain's personal bedroom bathroom sink specifically

whenever he sees babies, he smiles big (it scares them sometimes)

used to have a major biting problem when he was younger

copia got him oral fidget toys

when he was newer and needed ppl around to make sure he wouldn't get himself in any kind of trouble, all of the ghouls and papa were busy

but he was really easily spooked when he was first summoned

so the part when regina george got hit with the bus jump scared him

he and swiss have a playlist they made together on spotify of songs they like and it's so much shit mixed together it feels like a fever dream when u listen to it in order

has eaten bananas with peels on them a multitude of times

once drank a thing of lemon juice in less under 10 minutes cuz he was bored

✨ - share some headcanons about your f/o! this can be visual headcanons, sexuality or gender, disabilities and neurodivergencies, etc! kaira, my beautiful husband.. let's see where i can start. starting from his height, he's around 5'6, maybe 5'5 if i'm going to be honest. skin is pretty clear, you can tell a bit he's wearing makeup to make his eyes seem a bit sharper. it could also be connected to his tribe too. (thinking..about that last part bc in general makeup seems to be very important to yokai..) i am normal about kaira and sharp teeth but i think in general that he would have fangs like a snake because he's the snake king.. making him more connected to his yokai side. i think he's lean with slight muscle. in general, i think he has moments about being insecure about his looks and body especially since he's a half human half yokai. but i think it would be silly because i think to many people he's considered very attractive and his most defining features are his eyes. which, honestly, he totally got from his dad. (my headcanon is that his dad is the human side and his mother is the yokai side) there's no specific reason other than he just like me fr. oh my god im still on visual. for sexuality, he's bi demiace. no other reason than me thinks it fits.. he's not cis. hes agender honestly, uses masc terms, but that's about it… he/they kaira real.. OKAY no disability headcanons so far.. this can change in the future. BUT OHH BOY FELLAS HAVE I INTRODUCED YOU TO BPD KAIRA? there's no way he doesn't have bpd. like the way he acts, the way he's so reluctant to trust people. but he wants to be loved so badly. he needs to be loved and respected. he'd do anything to be accepted. like dont make me sick bpd boy. i love you sooo much. i think other than bpd, i think he has some anxiety which makes him just lash out and get angry instead of ever just freezing or freaking out. he's a very angry person but eventually he calms down.. sorta!

yes. he would, especially to protect the few things he feels like.. "belongs" to him. he would do it in a heartbeat, no questions asked. simple slice, one two.. the only issue is. there's no way he wouldn't get caught. he obviously did it in the moment and he isn't thinking straight during it. and then he starts to panic because he forgot in the moment that he was king of the yokai and not that outcast he was before. i think in general though, he wouldn't kill a human… and death in yokai doesn't matter all that much. so i think he would freak out and then like two seconds later the yokai in question comes back, begging for forgiveness, and kaira nearly passes out from how stressed out he was. i think i would have to comfort him for the next four days because i feel so bad about freaking him out like that (i didnt even do shit. i just said this yokai was mean to me :( ) and in turn, kaira would kinda just ride the high of all the attention he gets from it. and mutters something stupid like.. "i'd do it again if needed to.."

🌕 - what kind of fashion subculture would your f/o be partial to and why? do they prefer form over function or function over form? I ACTUALLY THOUGHT ABOUT THIS BEFORE.. i think he wears his traditional outfit because of how its connected to the izana tribe. but when he's out and about just trying to fit in with the other humans. he's totally wearing alt punk. HEAR ME OUT ON THIS. but i really think he would like fashion despite the fact that the fashion is basically against who he is. but like he's lowkey kinda selfish in general in minor aspects. so he would do it in enjoyment and then try to avoid asking about his political stances. he loves the dark colors, he loves the accesories. he can go all out on the entire outfit and no one would be like "isnt that too much?" because its alt punk. he loves it sooo much. but don't ask him about it or else he gets embarassed and tries to just walk it off. other than that he wears dads clothes. which i was joking. that fucked up bucket hat.. hopefully i understood this right, but i think he would be the type to be function > form ngl. outfits like these btw.. vvvv plus its very cute to think about the contrast because my s/i prefers to wear cuter/light colored outfits LOL

jailbird could, if he desired, take over his family's tech company. but he doesn't really have a huge interest in corporate life. at the beginning of the story, his goal is to kill as many superheroes as possible. at the end, he wants to open a bird sanctuary.

jailbird is extremely private. he does not like people knowing things about him.

shuffling with his shirt sleeves and chewing on his shirt collar. he also pulls at his own hair when he's upset. he also puts his hand to his mouth a lot when thinking.

he'd like to think he's more logical, but he's a 14 year old boy under tremendous amounts of stress.

i wouldn't say jailbird is quiet, but he's not friendly. he gives a lot of unsolicited advice and a lot of it is mean. he's not at ease in social situations, he's just not, like. shy. he's mean.
