The way the finale went down isn’t the ending a lot of people wanted—I get that, and I sympathize. But I really do believe that’s in part because it isn’t an ending.

And, frankly, I love the way this season finale went purely for selfish reasons.

The thing is, I honestly think that from a fandom POV, that’s so much better than having everything go the way we wanted or expected. I’m already so inspired to create things—to patch holes of things I didn’t get to see or hypothesize on how things will turn out. There’s debate on what the wish really means that I KNOW is going to manifest in some creative af world building in future fics I’ll get to read.

I know some people are contemplating leaving the fandom after this, but that was going to happen regardless of how the season went down. And I hope that some of those people still find a way to enjoy what the show has given them. I hope people realize it’s never too late to play with whatever ideas they may have.

I think this “ending” is unsettling on purpose. And I think so many cool things are going to be created because of that set-up.

#Doodles #UT #Handplates #Gaster #Wobbledogs #Sometimes media flooding bleeds over into other interests at the same time and yes that is my only justification for this lol #I'm always most amused by the sequence of things lol - I'd already started in on Handplates again but then got very diverted by Wobbledogs #Which is especially weird to me because I was introduced to the game like half a year ago and it didn't really grab me #It's cute but eh it's fine - and then I watched a proper lightly edited playlist not like jumpcut-jumpcut-jumpcut #That can make for a very punchy one-off but it doesn't really reflect the gameplay loop #So actually getting to see it properly made the difference and I kinda Get It now and also kinda want to own the game lol #MeanWhile - Ghoster's been hanging out as my desktop buddy literally /while/ watching and I was getting new ideas on that front #They smushed together lol #Having him onscreen is just a good excuse to do a quick once-over style of study and follow some silly ideas haha #What would Gaster think of a progressive mutation type game ♪ Watching them grow watching them struggle to walk #Only uses the scold feature - or the worse option that he treats the dogs better than the skelebros noooo haha #Pretty much all of the creatures in Undertale are sentient to some degree aren't they :0 Wobbledogs are just dogs #They're not monsters but they're not humans but they're not exactly just dogs either - just little creachurs haha #It's fun to imagine him nurturing anyone or anything haha ♪ Goes from ''???'' to ''How can I help this reach their full potential''#Whatever ''potential'' means in his own context hehe #It's cute in its own way

This is a commission that I received from FTAngel on Twitter. And I am completely over the moon for it!! Its just so perfect that it makes me wanna SCREAM 💜💜💜💕💕💕👀👀👀👏👏👏

~Rambling below~

I don't commission other people to make art for me often (let alone fanart) but if I do, I always tend to try to find an artist with a style similar to the fandom of the request that I want done. So it feels all the more canon and/or real to me.

Full Time Angel is a Danganronpa fan artist who does just as nice RainCode work. I decided that for my birthday I had to get a commission from them. (well actually I asked for 2) I failed to get a commission slot the first round, but I somehow succeeded the second round. (which is why it’s a month late)

I was a little shy at first, but I decided to take the plunge to ask them for this. I needed a good pic of a tired/sick Yuma laying on Yakou's lap for my life to feel complete. You know I live for these two's dynamic, they’re literally my roman empire 💜

And I gotta say, investment well spent! This is such an amazing piece! It came out so wonderful, it may as well be official!! >w< Yakou and Yuma look like they're pulled straight from their sprite art! And the detail on the background is phenomenal! Love the blur effects on the both the plant and the background behind the sofa! I'm so happy with it!! I could say so much more praise about this lovely work, but I’ll stop here.

Bottom Line: I’m in so much love with this! 🥰 💕
